6 month old and 6 year old both from Hurricane Cavaliers

Like others have said Donna was AWESOME, since Donna's passing we meet Amber and like others have said Amber will not return emails or phone calls, we got our dog from Amber 6 months ago and Amber said she was having problems getting her paperwork, we didn't think anything about it because sometimes this happens, this is our 3rd Dog we have bought from Hurricane but the first time dealing with Amber. as of today i have emailed her no less than 5 times and i can't tell you how many phone calls with Amber not responding to a thing. Do we have a purebred we don't know? we Love our dog but i would advise people to stay away from Amber 10-22-25

My sweet boy is from this excellent breeder- he is 10yrs old now... Lord Montague (Monty)! Her communication and support was awesome- she is organized, very clean, and treats all her dogs like royalty! Hands down the best bloodlines, disposition & health. I would purchase from her again 1000%. I have continuously recommended this breeder.

This is Bebe...a little over 4 years old and her specialty is being cute!

I have used Hurricane Cavaliers three times...Bebe my Ruby Cavalier is such a sweet heart. Donna is an excellent breeder, knows anything and everything about the breed, very careful on genetics and is the only place I would go to get a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel!

Superior option for a healthy, well-bred puppy My wife and I did a significant amount of research when choosing option for a new family dog. We set our sights on a Cavalier based on their temperment, size, and beauty. But, with so many options to choose from and reading about the many poor health scenarios for puppies bred for quantity and not well-being, we wanted to be careful. We found two breeders in the Phoenix area with the parental pedigree and careful breeding we were looking for. By far, Donna, the owner of Hurricane Cavaliers, was the most professional and detailed. She was fast with her follow-up, had a great list of resources, handled starting the AKC process, and sent us home with a thorough binder when we picked our dog up to take him home. Donna was patient and answered every one of our questions. That she fosters and takes care of the retired breeding dogs was impressive-- especially when we met two 15+ year-old grandmothers. For a breed that we read averaged eight to 10 years of age, it matched out goal to spend more for a dog that would be healthy for a long time to grow up with our little girls. The dogs are not cheap by any stretch. That said, my wife and I agreed that spending less now only to spend more later in vet bills and seeing a companion suffer is something we wanted to avoid. One note: Competition for a Blenheim Cavalier is intense. A co-worker said something about them (especially females) being popular due to the show Sex in the City. I didn't ask for more detail, but it seems to be the case. Good for us that we were entirely cool with a Blenheim - or Ruby-colored boys. Otherwise, we would have been waiting a while.

Look at this kid! He is beautiful. Thanks Donna. Couldn't be happier. He is now almost five years old and a frisbee star! Very athletic and the sweetest pups ever!

It was scary for us, but we called Mindy and she was so polite and let me ask all the questions I needed! She brought us over to do an evaluation and see how our dogs get along with her Lab and a couple other dogs staying there. Mindy and her husband do such an amazing job at sending us updates with pictures and communicating in a timely manner. It's also nice to know that groups are more intimate so I know my dogs as well as the other dogs staying with them get all the affection and attention they can get! Thank you House of Mutts for being a wonderful place for my pups

We took our little boy Enzo there for boarding. We hadn't ever left him for more than a night or 2…read more- so to say the least we were wrecks... We took him a few times for daycare before we left and he loved it. They were very attentive and he got to play with other dogs and still got his scratches and pets. He wasn't all that excited to leave. We will continue to bring him for daycare so he can see his new doggie and human friends. Enzo boarding experience was just as great as daycare. They continually send pictures and let us know how he was doing but we could see from his face he was having a grand time. We are so relieved to have a place to leave our precious little boy knowing that he is safe, happy and very well taken care of!!! Thank you House of Mutts!!!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could. My elderly dog became quite sick very quickly. He…read morehad been showing signs of aging, so when he didn't want to play, go outside, go for a walk, or eat, I was overcome with guilt for not taking him to a vet sooner. Overnight my dog became unable to walk and was mostly unresponsive. No way could I carry this 60 lb dog to my car, plus we are in the middle of a week of dangerously high temperatures. I had no idea what to do with his body once he passes, and I knew he was imminent. Happy Endings told me they would examine him at home and give me their opinion. They gave me a 2 hour window of when they would be at my apartment. I didn't have to wait long. Dr. Fixler told me what he could observe about my dog, which fit with what I had seen in the last couple of weeks. He assured me there was nothing I could have done to change things. It was a sad occasion even knowing I was doing the right thing. Dr. Fixler and his team were very respectful and compassionate about that. I got to thank Buddy for all the happiness he brought me. He went quickly and comfortably. They took him to be cremated, I didn't opt to be given ashes. They will send a paw print to me in the mail. I found the fees to be reasonable, especially since I had no idea what to do, and I was too upset to do much. I'm 66 years old and limited physically. I grew up in the country, in the Midwest, back in the days when you buried pets on your property. Not an option today. The house call and euthanasia were $345, and the cremation was $145. That was exactly how much I had in my bank account, but so worth it for the peace of mind, and for giving Buddy some relief, not having him suffer. He played and was happy until yesterday. The vet convinced me that I was helping my red headed Buddy by helping him avoid days of useless pain and misery. I truly believe him. It's important for me to know that-- in order to properly let go. I miss you already, Mr. Bud-Bud. RIP. Thank you to Happy Endings for making it easier, for taking care of the details I am ill equipped to handle.
