The hamburger was yummy, we asked for it medium but it was likely closer to medium rare. The salmon (market fish) was good but only came with one single asparagus. It was a beautiful dish- I wish the flavor matched the presentation, I likely wouldn't order it again. The smoke and honey cocktail came out from the bartender with a box that was opened in front of us and released smoke, it smelled and was delicious- and I normally don't like bourbon! We had the vanilla ice cream with olive oil and salt flakes. The ice cream was creamy and yummy, I think it was heavy on the olive oil. The combination was new to us and was yummy, but feel as though it was drowning in olive oil. I'm not sure I will find myself in the area again, but I would recommend Prospect to anyone in the area wanting an upscale dinner with interesting and new flavor combinations with a romantic mountain vibe!

The entrees , I'm not sure what happened, this is where it went downhill and fast. there was a long space between apps and entrees, like we could have chose and ordered by the time they were delivered My pasta was ICE COLD, not warm, like I made this an hour ago and it just sat kind of under a heat lamp . The chicken was just ok, very hot, but bland. Played nicely but no flavor We really wanted dessert which if it's not gelato, you aren't getting it. So disappointed. There was no other option. The name jager means huntsman. Substituted the seasonal vegetable (carrot and asparagus) for the cabbage which was so delicious. The meal is hearty and rich. The staff was wonderful. The Apple strudel was one of the best desserts I've ever had with cinnamon ice cream. I can only imagine how cozy this place is during the fall and winter. Absolutely worth the price.
