The Food was excellent I had the corn chowder soup, chicken kebab's with grilled vegetables, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and creamy Spanish. The service was top tier whenever you stay at the royalton chic in Cancun ask for the server Miguel he is simply the best!

The food was amazing but really it's the service that blew us away! Isaac, our server, was TOP NOTCH! We dined here for a birthday celebration and he made sure every aspect of our dining experience was memorable! He ensured a table at the sunset window side of the dining room. Atmosphere, cuisine, and levels of attention were A+++++. We ordered the tomahawk steaks along with plenty of other item which were delicious! The attention to detail for our party was phenomenal! Would 10000% recommend. If you can... request Isaac, he truly made our night magical! Gracias amigo!!

We had a great dinning experience at this steakhouse. Modern atmosphere. Yes, reservations highly recommended, because most of the time they are fully booked. Servers here were fun and friendly . We definitely received great services during dining. We ordered three different kind of beef , including brisket, ribeye, steak, and new strip, all were very tasty, especially when paired with the red wine and pepper sauces. Remember to ask for the HOT pepper sauce if you like spicy. I mean, this is not America spicy. This is Mexican spicy. The hot sauce was made with fresh jalapeños. It was delicious. For appetizer, we had the corn soup and the corn fritz. Also the crabcake. The only one I was unhappy with was the crabcake. There was no crab meat inside the cake at all, nor tasted craby. It was a googy paste inside and fried. I wasn't sure if it was just how they make the crabcake or is it because I just compare all the crabcake to the Maryland Crabcake, so far nothing even is comparable with Maryland crabcake. Our overall experience was satisfactory and do recommend @WineDinenVacay

Not pictured, but the bread was good. Supposed to be the best restaurant but I thought it was just okay. Service is great for the most part.

During the time that we went on vacation (May) they did not accept reservations, it was first come first serve. The wait can be extremely long, so plan accordingly. For large parties that's not diamond card holders, most likely will sit outside in the common area. We tried sitting inside one night and it was so chilly we ended up asking to sit in the common area outside. Tip, bring a cardigan ladies. The wait for food is pretty long, but expected since it's a steakhouse. Appetizers came out quick! Bread and butter to start, as always, don't fill yourself up. The mash potatoes are to die for! It was so buttery and creamy. I loved it! My rib eye on the first night was truly amazing, the second night was okay. I like my steak medium rare and the second time I had it, it was more it rare. Other than that, the food was good and I would come back again!

We're staying on the property 8/10 - 8/16/20 and just had this place last night for our first dinner here ... it did not disappoint! We love the fact that this resort has so many super legit restaurants. This steakhouse is swanky and nice, making you forget it's part of an all inclusive resort. The restaurant itself is huge and has both indoor and outdoor seating. There's an all glass wine room inside and you can see right into the kitchen with the same all glass setup. *THE DRINKS HERE ARE STRONGER THAN THOSE AT THE RESORT'S REGULAR BARS - YAY!!!* As others have commented about the resort in general, the drinks aren't very strong. We noticed this already on day 1. I'm not complaining since they're included, but just FYI. I noticed my margs inside the restaurant made me feel much different than those I'd ordered just hours before at the pool! :) My fiancé at the NY steak and I had the salmon. We both had green salads for the app. He had mashed potatoes for his side and I had veggies. We finished with creme brûlée' and cheesecake. The steak was huge! The steak sauce really made the steak. I couldn't pinpoint what it was made of, but it was delicious. Both the steak and my salmon were cooked to perfection. My salmon came on top of some sort of white creme sauce - really tasty! The veggies were a bit oily, but really good. The presentation of both of our meals was really nice. We both really liked the vinaigrette on our salads. Our service was great! What made me sad at dinner was noticing how many people failed to tip their servers ... come on, people! Tip the waitstaff!!

Rib eye steak -asked for it medium rare and came out medium with side of mashed potatoes

One of the better restaurants on the resort. I enjoyed the ribeye steak the most, we ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well. We also enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo. I would pass on the bourbon bbq pork ribs and onion rings (tasted like it was sitting out). Mashed potatoes were good and the mixed salad went well with the steak.

Food was very ok. For the restaurant being called a steakhouse, I thought the steak would be their best item, unfortunately it wasn't, leaving me slightly disappointed.

Part of diamond club member I believe , wine and some cut of steak is extra . Wine is alway good . Cost extra Steak tomahawk is ok . Not great but not worst 7-10 Cost extra Chicken Alfredo it was really bad , 2-10 but it's no extra charge . If your staying at the royalton you must visit as it's part of the all Inclusive package. Service is Excellent 10-10

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!

We came to Harry's a couple years back when we visited Cancun and I am celiac and I had a lovely dinner with my partner. On this visit, we were seated at a beautiful table and we ordered drinks. Our waiter, a bald headed young man 30s, refused to check with the kitchen to see if they could accommodate me. I am celiac not vegan. I was told there was nothing I could eat except steak and he proceeded to show us the entire steak selection. Truthfully I was feeling slightly unwell from not eating the entire day. I felt like fish, he said I can give you dry fish no sauce on top. He suggested maybe we just do appetizers. We had a 8 pm dinner reservation, what the hell would I want to order appetizers and call it day? This waiter was chit chatting with his maitre'd and other wait staff and I felt terribly uncomfortable that i was told I couldn't eat anything from the men, we we all know was ridiculous and not true. We finished our drinks and asked for the check. I made a reservation for Porfirios next door bc I could see they had some gluten free options. Harry's used to be accommodating but no longer. We will not come to Harry's again for food. Not only this, the waiter was trying to once again embarrass us by advising us that we could walk to Porfirios, next door to the restaurant from the back patio. We got up and began walking towards the patio and suddenly I realized he was totally making a fool of us, why would we go from the back if we have to check in with the hostess stand in the front of the restaurant? We walked straight out of Harry's from front door. Never again. So disrespectful and such a rude experience. Not only this, Harry's canceled/ removed our open table reservation (even though we fulfilled it and paid for our drinks and still tipped generously), so I cannot even leave a review and send a private message to the restaurant. Pathetic customer service.

We loved it so much, we ended up here twice in the same week. The service is outstanding here and you can tell they pride themselves on customer service. Before the meal, they do drop off bread with dipping sauces, garlic, and butter. The perfect appetizer. One reason I love this place is the salads. They are big enough for split for 2 and I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options. Personally, the cesar salad is my favorite. What I love about this salad, is they make the dressing right in front of you. Definitely a cool and unique experience. The first time, I ordered the tuna steak. It comes with a soy sauce and a garlic butter. These two sauces on the tuna makes for an incredible meal. I cannot say enough good things about this entree! The second night we went my boyfriend and I split the Cesar salad and the skirt steak. We also added on a side of mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The whole meal was delicious. I couldn't pick a favorite part because everything tasted so good. Splitting this was the perfect meal for two people and we even had a bit left over to snack on the next day. I always have a wonderful experience with even better food when I come here. If you happen to be in the area this is a must stop.

All-in-all it was worth the inconvenience. Very eclectic menu, warm atmosphere and outstanding service. I started withe the Mango-Tamarind: Lettuce, Indian walnut, mango, blueberries, Cotija cheese, mango-habanero dressing and tamarind billet. Unique and tasty. "Swiss Chicken Enchiladas" for the main course was not what you get at a local Mexican joint -- Four tortillas stuffed with chicken, bathed in a creamy tomatillo sauce with melted cheese and a base of refried black beans. This was a 5-star dish! I couldn't resist ordering a side dish though I didn't need to because the enchiladas were really enough, so I indulged myself with fries: these were not your run of the mill French fries. Porfirio's Potatoes -- French fries with chipotle pepper aioli, parmesan cheese and parsley. Finally, if you like ice cream I highly recommend that you order BOTH offerings: 1) "ICE CREAM TASTING" - Strawberry ice cream, chocolate ice cream from Metate, marzipan ice cream and vanilla from Papantla. Served with grated coconut, chocolate grain, M&M's, Oreo cookies and ice cream cones; and, 2) "PORFIRIO'S MOLECULAR ICE CREAM" - served with cajeta Worcestershire sauce in an ice cream cone. I dream of Marrow everyday. This is a 10/10 Yellow fin Tosatadas - Superb!!! One of the best tostadas I have ever had. The microgreens, the sauce and the square Tostada works well all together. 8.8/10 Salmon - Cooked perfectly. The corn is a great accompaniment. The fish is impeccably seasoned. This dish is heaven sent with a 9.8/10 Grilled Octopus - Grilled perfectly, I can tell by the texture. The mash is superb, they used margarine instead of butter and I absolutely love the contrast from the traditional mash. 9.8/10 Mexican Rice - Its pretty good. It does have a nice seafoodish finish. The pepper was actually spicy. Nice and pleasant rice dish. 8/10 Charred Avocado Salad - Grilled avocado is a bit of a wash. It did make it look good on the plate. The dressing is a little weak. Needs a little more zip, some citrus or vinegar would give this salad some justice. Its a little uninspired 7/10 Service is impeccable and attentive and the atmosphere is lovely.
