Beef bouillon like gravy in a cup

This place is cool but same owners as cambleche so if you go there no need to do both. The souflee potatoes are always a hit and we did large format steaks this time. Delish and for 2 was plenty. Drinks are same as other place too so just know that. Place definitely has more ambiance and such a great view b

The interior is spacious, modern, clean and nice. Surprisedly when we went during dinner, it wasn't busy at all and we made a reservation. They have nice views of the outside. This spot is great for special occasions and for big groups. The service here is really good and the workers were friendly. The food here is on the pricier side. The surf and turf was enjoyable and filling. The ceviche was good quality. The potato soufflé was unique and my favorite thing we ordered.

Delicious meal with amazing service from Gaspar! Food I can't remember which option we chose, but it was the to share ribeye central cut without the bone. Gaspar said without the bone is better than with the bone. It was sooooo good. It came with 2 sauces and I didn't even need to use them. It also came with grilled onions and cactus. Fantastic, I would order again. It came out a bit more medium rare than I would have eaten it, but you can just keep it on the pan, and it will cook more. We also got the cheese to start. It was good, but I would try something different next time. It comes with a tomato sauce on top and 4 pieces. It was my birthday so they gave us a birthday chocolate molten cake with ice cream which they said is their #1 dessert. Service Gaspar was fantastic! Attentive, helpful, friendly, everything you would want with such a fine meal. Ambiance - Seating inside is air conditioned. Seating outside has views of the water, no air conditioning. - The place is huge Reservations Easy to make through open table. We came in May when there were, what seems like, 0 people in Cancun and didn't need a reservation. But always recommend you have one just in case.

I thought I had already wrote a review for this place from years ago because this was my 4th time going and it NEVER disappoints! This is def my GO TO whenever I go to Cancun! Service, presentation, food quality, drinks, all of the above - A1!!!! Everytime!

Wait staff was very attentive, as I sampled the sauces at the table our waiter kindly brought out a bottle of A1 steak sauce. Although the steak was well seasoned and didn't require a sauce. Hubby loved his baked potato but the toppings had an unfamiliar taste for me. For dessert we shared the trio sorbet and that was a good choice. Although we were celebrating my birthday and I would have liked cake but after the potato I thought the sorbet would be more to my liking. The ambience and views were amazing. Loved the music playing in the background, my husband and I tested each other on who was the original artist. A good evening but not a WOW celebration.

What a wonderful pic for a restaurant. Just my type of environment very serene elegant inviting and comfortable. Ratings: 5 stars for ambiance, 4 stars for service, 4 stars for prices, 5 stars for quality and overall presentation. I have to admit I don't often do fine dining but with a friend or two and tow and on vacation it's sometimes nice to not worry about the overall cost. My friend and I were truly interested in the overall menu and almost wanted to order everything. The table next to us had a steak for four people that smell delicious. This is an Argentinian restaurant but it isn't a set fee type of restaurant as some cities in the US have. We ordered a Caesar salad for two which was made table side and was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a side of asparagus and artichoke which again was really delicious. My friend ordered black cod. I ordered a seafood chowder as well as a white fish. We were so stuffed to the point of being uncomfortable, truly

This restaurant located in Zona Hotelera in Cancun is an upscale place with a great food and dishes creations. From the lobster bisque to the Dulce de leche Souffle ..everything is top notch. Fresh fish, Wagu steaks and great presentation is their signature. The personalized service and the sunset experience make visiting this place a place to remember. Recommended !

Puerto Madero is one of our favorite places to eat in Cancun and has been one of the most exclusive restaurants since its inauguration in 2004. The informal but elegant atmosphere with soft music invites you to enjoy good food with the best service. They have selected the best meat, fish, seafood and lobster (Maine), imported from different parts of the world and carefully prepared with the highest quality standards and cooked in their exclusive Charcoal Grill, and let yourself be surprised by enjoying your food with a great selection of excellent Argentinean wines or from any part of the the world that they have selected. Puerto Madero is always on our list of restaurants we visit while in Cancun - great food, service, and waterside setting! It will be a bit pricey, but it will stay on our list! This time the dining room was noisy, and multiple televisions were playing various sports, but the atmosphere was still lovely. The staff is fantastic! They are very attentive and take great pride in their work! The food presentation was perfect, and they brought you the cuts of beef or fish so you could choose. Table side Ceasar is a must! Potatoes Souffle is a unique take on the potato......kind of a cross between a french fry and a potato chip puffed up with air. Both my husband and daughter enjoyed them. We had Surf & Turf, steak, and octopus, and my daughter had mini burgers. The cheesecake is out-of-this-world good! Everything was delicious and well prepared! The service is always excellent.

Annual trip to Cancun and for my birthday dinner this year, someone recommended Puerto Madero. I've got to say, this is one of the best meals we've had in Cancun. Beautiful setting on the edge of the patio at sunset, couldn't have been better. Service was your typical attentive and friendly Cancun service I've come to appreciate. I had the New York Strip, comes with a side of peppers/onions on the skillet. Cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. My wife had the Salmon which you can see from the photo was also juicy and flavorful. It's so easy to overcook salmon and this was just the opposite. We shared a baked potato, mashed potatoes, wedge salad, and was talked into the empanadas. Don't skip on those, they are amazing. This might become my go-to dinner reservation in Cancun for my birthday!

My significant other found this restaurant and thought it looked like Jeff Ruby's in Nashville so he was adamant that we should have dinner here. We made reservations on OpenTable. They have complimentary valet. They had 2 servers helping us so they were super attentive the whole time. We had a glass of wine each, the skirt steak, wagyu burger and flight of dessert. The wagyu burger was massive and they even topped it with a slider on top. The skirt steak was very juicy and a massive portion. The flight of dessert was just ok. I would personally skip it. All in all, the tab was $130 with tip. I would recommend this for a nice celebratory dinner. If you had a birthday, they will offer a complimentary dessert with a sparkler!

Food, Service and Ambiance, everything is top notch. Our waiter, Eduardo is awesome even on super busy night near New Year's eve, that's why we came back on the next day. We highly recommended this restaurant if visiting Cancun.

We were looking for a good recommendation for dinner while on our work trip and a concierge was absolutely raving about this place! And she was right to rave! From start to finish we enjoyed a lovely dining experience that really impacted all the senses. The ambient light when you walk in is warm and inviting! We saw a nice display of wine and cheese, the restaurant wasn't too crowded either! We ordered so many appetizers and the kitchen kept right up with us! We all enjoyed our entrees and our server's knowledge of the menu was exquisite. I was so delighted when he let me know the local whitefish was an excellent choice. I knew I could trust his opinion! Thank you Puerto Madero - we hope to visit again someday!

The server was attentive to all our needs, helped make recommendations on the menu and helped us pick a delicious bottle of wine that would pair well with our dinner. They addressed us by our last names Mr and Mrs Valles which made me feel even more impressed. They would take away silverware after each meal and provide you with new silverware, they cleaned the table after each meal as well to make sure that even if you had crumbs or a messy eating style they would make sure you had a clean table for the next entree item. During the dinner there was a professional tango dancing couple who dance in front of your table and around the restaurant! It was pretty awesome! Honestly it makes the experience even more exciting. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful during dinner. The view of the ocean from the window seats was also nice to have while enjoying the fine dining Argentinian Cuisines. As for the food we had a Shrimp appetizer that the server recommended paired with Blue Crab Soup. My girlfriend and I also split a Rib Eye steak. Finally we concluded our meal with the Apple Crumble. Let me tell you everything tasted phenomenal! The Argentinian spices and flavor of the shrimp was insanely good, creamy, had some spice, and the flavor was top notch. They cooked our Rib Eye to perfection where the steak literally melted in your mouth! As for the blue crab soup it was absolutely phenomenal and the portion of crab they provide in the soup is perfect. The Apple Crumble would make angels cry in happiness! I am not a big Apple person but the Apple crumble was to die for! Overall, the ambiance can not be beat, the service is phenomenal, the food is delicious, and is a romantic setting that I would highly suggest for couples who are enjoying paradise! Definitely check out this spot for one of your nights in beautiful Cancun!

Chorizo Argentino con Queso - nice flaky crust, the filling is good, where you can taste the chorizo and some mozzarella cheese that pulls nicely when you bite into the empanada. Chistorra con Queso - Filling with lots of cheese. Too cheesy for our taste. Carne picante - nice spicy ground beef filling. The spice was strong not too much. One of the best we had. Norteña (pastor con queso) - It had more cheese than carne al pastor, so it felt too cheesy. Could not taste the pastor much. We loved the Pollo and the Chilorio con queso empanadas...both had nice chunky fillings with lots of nice marinated meat pieces....really good. You have the option of 4 sauces to use on the empanadas...chimichurri, spicy, pico de gallo and chipolte. Based on my experience, these are not truly Argentinian empanadas, because the ones I've had, have been homemade and they use olives, hard boiled eggs, potato and other spices in the filling. But they were not bad at all...some fillings better than others.... Nice parking in front of the store. They take credit cards. Many specials throughout the week, many of them require to buy a lot (like a dozen to get a promotional free item). They have combos as well.

It did kill the hungry monster in my stomach though.

Don't ignore these reviews like I did. It really is that bad…read more I ignored the reviews because I thought "I'm not gonna get steak. Maybe they just have bad steak." Mistake. It's all bad. Just don't go! The decor and especially outside sofa chairs are very inviting. It is a facade; a trick; a lie. Una mentira. First red flag: this place has multiple names: L'Argentina Grill Argentina Steakhouse "The Steakhouse" (huge painted on building) There are two foods I love the most: tacos and hamburgers. So when I go to Cancun/Mujeres I eat lots of tacos. Eventually I crave hamburgers. Enter Argentina. The service was pretty poor. I've traveled plenty and understand the difference between service in the US vs elsewhere. Here we were just ignored or passed over too long. Eventually we got water and ordered a bottle of wine. They struggled a bit suggesting wines. Everything we ordered was our server's favorite... :) lucky us. Ordered some appetizers. I didn't like them and don't remember what they were. Got dinner (burger and fries). The fries were lame. I don't even mind frozen fries. But these were just bland and useless. The burger patty seemed like it was steamed or boiled. I didn't like it. Any fast food burger joint, in Mexico or the US, would have been superior. Service was slow and not helpful. I ate at about 12 restaurants in Cancun and Mujeres, and they were all delicious, except for this one place. And this was by far the priciest (well, except for the beachside dinner at the ritz which was fine dining on another level... not fair to compare) If you eat at this restaurant, after reading these reviews, that's your bad. Don't be me. Don't be a sucker. Spend way less money for way better food and service, anywhere on the island. Pick any food stand. Any bar. Any hotel. Any restaurant. They all have better food. Pick any of them. Two stars because the wine wasn't terrible, and some of the food was edible. But seriously teetering on giving a 1 star. It was absolutely not worth it. I will definitely never go back. On an island in the Caribbean, maybe I shouldn't have sought out beef at all. Next time I'll stick to local fare (seafood) at restaurants that aren't clearly created to gouge tourists. I kinda feel responsible, because in retrospect, this place is clearly a tourist trap racket. Either way, do yourself, your wallet, and your loved ones a huge favor: eat anywhere else.
