A friend recommended El Campanario and it turned out to be one of our best dinners while visiting Puerto Morelos. Great service and reasonable prices as well. Everything my husband and I got was delicious: margaritas, steak & shrimp, Argentinian tomato salad, pasta with shrimp...top notch for a simple place in such a small beach town.

We went here for dinner last night based on other reviews on Yelp and we were not disappointed. Things started off great with 2 for 1 cervezas and very healthy mixed drink. We both ordered the filet, mine came with shrimp. These steaks were quite large, 300gr. Both cooked about right. Veggies and potatoes were also good. Not too busy and service was good. Worth a trip.

Wow! Just wow! This place is absolutely amazing! Starting with the customer service! Our server Saul was such a cool guy! Took his time with us, super attentive, 10/10!! Let move on to the food . Appetizers: Mollejas 50 out of 10! All the meat is wood fired so the flavor is amazing! Mollejas were perfectly cooked and so tender! Next we had the bone marrow! Omg! Butter of the Gods! Done immaculately and served with tortillas and a fresh made tomato salsa on the side that was to die for! Main course: My wife had a Tierra y mar: perfectly grilled shrimp over a bed of sautéed vegetables paired with a beautiful cut of ribeye cooked medium of course with a side of mashed potatoes. 50/10! I had the prime rib cut. This was not your typical Lawry's prime rib. It was basically a grilled bone in ribeye that was equally delectable. It was paired with a loaded baked potato. 50/10!! I also mentioned it was my birthday and they brought me out a slice of Mexican home made cheesecake that was also very good! 10/10! Definitely will be back! Everything was above expectations!

My steak was cooked to a perfect medium like I ordered it! The service was phenomenal! They had bug spray when they noticed we were getting bitten by mosquitos. My grandparents love this restaurant. My grandma LOVES their chiles en nogada which are typically only served during Sept/Oct during pomegranate season. The music at the next door restaurant is quite loud so it carries over at a nice noise level to their restaurant.

Consistency makes the difference I always visit a place a couple times to see if the service maybe different or food different but el campanario always brings the best. Food and service are just fantastic. Ambiance is delightful, around 7:30pm the will have life music and just and amazing musician playing today we had saxophone .

ROAD TRIP: PUERTO MORALES Finally returned to one of our favorites, El Campanario , in Puerto Morelos, and what a fabulous time it was. They moved from their previous location, to Javier Rojo Gomez. There new location is such a peaceful and beautiful setting, with double the space, and have extended hours that now include breakfast . It's a family owned Argentine restaurant of three generations where you are treated as family from the time of your first arrival. And they have an amazing house dog, Fresia , who loves the love. We're totally addicted to their steaks, whether it's the grilled prime rib, filet mignon, ribeye or sirloin. The portions are huge, accompanied by fries or baked potato, broccoli, tomatoes, and fresh bread. The meat is top quality and consistently grilled to perfection. They feature an extensive menu, excellent service and are reasonably priced. It's a lovely setting and we could not have been happier to see our friends. Oh, and excellent live music! What more could you ask for?

Amazing dinner. We are visiting from St. Louis, MO. This food was so amazing that we are going to leave our all inclusive resort and come back a second time this week.

    Blue Cheese Filet

I had a wonderful experience. Even though the address on Google Maps was not update, we still enjoyed ourselves. The Blue Cheese Filet was wonderful. I kept asking for the recipe so i can make back home once i get back to Georgia Lol. The outside dinner was great as well. Service was wonderful and not but expected. I do recommend travelers visiting especially the ones staying on the resort to do visit this place. Nothing but Excellence. 10/10. Definitely Recommend.

Great outdoor dining that spills out onto the street, with saxophonist playing creating a beautiful evening.

This was our last night in Mexico and happened upon this restaurant based on a google review. It was great, very nicely prepared filet, very nice server and live music, saxaphonist, set the mood for a beautiful evening. Cute dogs from the neighborhood wouldn't eat the bread, but were really appreciative of my filiet, and well behaved, too! I really recommend this place. Family run.

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!

We started with the delicious Parmesan bread.. which was so light and puffy on its own, delicious, but then the sauces it came with really set it off. The green avocado sauce was so good, I could have eaten all of it haha. Rodrigo sold my husband on getting the steak on fire and boy was he happy ! The steak comes somewhat cooked then it is doused in 2 alcohols and butter and set on fire! Check out the pics, it was a really cool experience and it was one of the best steaks we've ever tried. It came with two dipping sauces, a red wine composite and a green chimichurri sauce. The chimichurri sauce was bangin!! We also got a nice red bottle of wine to pair with the meal. My meal consisted of sides-- the lobster/shrimp Mac and cheese and the Caesar salad. Both were really good, the salad was much bigger than I expected and had a runny egg on top... not my thing but I tried to embrace the experience! It was still really good. The Mac and cheese was super cheesy with Gouda and it was delicious! Those two things were so filling I had to take it some home. The manager Manuel also personally came to check on us and our experience during the meal which was nice. He also took photos of us outside which we appreciated. They also brought us an anniversary dessert because we shared that we were celebrating and it was like a deconstructed caramel muffin with ice cream. It was so good when each part came together! I was definitely looking for a great steak so I split the bone-in ribeye, along with sides of broccoli, a loaded baked potato, and brussels sprouts. The steak was presented on a sizzling skillet and it was cooked a little under what we'd ordered. After eating most of it, we realized that they'd mistakenly given our dining companions our correct order and we had theirs. That explained the incorrect cooking temperature on both of the ribeyes. But, the seasoning and flavor of the beef was really good. We all loved the brussels sprouts and the broccoli. The portion sizes for the sides was generous and definitely enough to share between two people. The round dining room at Quinto is beautiful with a large chandelier in the center.
