When you are tired of Mexican food, this is the right place to come for something different. This place provides Argentinian food. Let me tell you, the food in here was superb! I had: Pina Colada (good combo of vodka and Pineapple juice); Empanada of Spinach and Cheese; Empanada of Beef; Corte Argentino "El Diez" (300g) (nicely cooked and tender meat); Salmon Rosado (nicely cooked as well) Definitely one of the best places to come to eat in Mexico!

They reel you in with a 2 for 1 special but it it's not really the deal, only had 1 appetizer and a few drinks but it was the most expensive meal in town so far and they claimed they have to charge 15% tips when EVERYWHERE else is 10% standard

Awesome place to grab some Argentinean food. Mam this place smells good as you come into it! Go to the rooftop bar located just after the spiral steps. I took Michele here for her birthday got some small bites and enjoyed the live music that was playing. The vibe is intimate, relaxed and just overall wonderful. Our waiter was awesome and sent us a caramel filled crepe which she loved and we appreciated that the caramel was made in house. Wonderful spot to take a date in Tulum.

There are beef restaurants and then there's El Diez. You may ask "why go to an Argentinean place if you're in Mexico?" Trust me, after a day of scuba diving, you'll be a carnivore First, for appetizers, order their empanadas. They are big so definitely share with others. I recommend baked vs. fried empanadas. They have multiple options, from New York steak to more intricate Argentinian options. Those do not disappoint and taste exactly like in Argentina. Finally, order their tequila. One of the best selections in Playa del Carmen.

I'm sitting here for the 2nd night in a row in a non packed, yet amazing restaurant!!! Across the way everyone is at the mainstream Mateos. The food here is highly superior then that which is across the street. Great Argentina style food, Italian plus they know how to make a mean cocktail!! Updated review to follow, I'm about to dig in... again.

Mmmm is just about the location, it's right in the 5th . Other than that the food was mediocre, with so many options around they have to improve the food . The restaurant was clean with a/c and a patio if you prefer to have a drink or grab a bite while you see ppl walking by.

They open early. "Entrana" is highly recommended.

One of the best restaurants in Playa Del Carmen. The "Entrana" is recommended and will be suggested by the host Guana. Luis was our waiter and he did a supper job. Great environment overlooking the boardwalk.

On the corner, Brazilian steak house, clean bathroom, great service with one of the best steaks in town. Reviews don't do it justice.

This has to be one of the best steaks in town. "Bife de Churasco" with mashed potatoes! Only place we ate at twice in 2 weeks. There are all you can eats but this is on the street and the service was great. Only con: Ownerless dog in the street comes around and is quite mean so tables closer to the inside are best.

A great place! Great service! We had the empanadas - moi riko!! Very good! For main course I had the breaded chicken with fries and my husband had the cheese burger! Both plain but tasty!

    Great !!!

This place is always a home run!! It never disappoints. It's pricier then most places but worth it. The empanadas are really tasty!!!

AMAZING pizza. Thin with ultra fresh toppings. Not a grab and go spot, but a sit down and enjoy each slice.

After looking at the menu I decided to get a chicken milanesa provolone style with mash potatoes. I also got fries with eggs on the side. (I saw so many tasty pictures on Instagram..it was hard to decide what style milanesa I wanted) The provolone style milanesa has mozzarella and melted provolone cheese, tomatoe sauce, and oregano. The milanesa was super tasty and crunchy. The combination of the fries, egg, and milanesa in one bite is amazing!!! You have to try it!!! The one person milanesa was a good size for me. I eat a lot so I was so excited when it came out! Plenty of food. If you have a small appetite you could probably share the one person milanesa. If you are okay with sharing your food I believe the one person plate for two people is enough. I ate half the milanesa and took half home and ate it a couple hours later. Very good!!! Such an amazing meal!!! In total I got a maracuya mojito, chicken provolone milanesa, side of fries and eggs for a very reasonable price. I cannot wait to come back!!!

Once, out of curiosity, we ordered the veggie empanadas with the chimichuri sauce and they were sooooo good!! Perfectly fried, fresh and hot and many different fillings. They do have quite a few vegetarian items on the menu. But we didn't get a chance to try them all. The bartender would make any drink we ask for. We asked him to make something with maracuya (passion fruit) and he made this delicious and strong Maracuya Mezcalita. We really enjoyed hanging out at the bar by the pool here!

A nice spot with good food, teas, and snacks. We had a dulce de leche merengue dessert "sandwich" and a couple of empanadas. The empanadas were fried and served up hot. The owners are from Argentina and the menu is written in both Spanish and English. The restaurant serves Argentine wine and brunch/lunch and pastries. The specials board displayed outside the restaurant of daily offerings is what initially drew me in. We weren't very hungry but wanted to sample what they had so we opted to try two empanadas, hot green tea, and this dulce de leche filled meringue cookie. The empanadas were served iced and had a good amount of filling. Heavily fried, the meat one was pleasantly spicy and the cheese and pepper (very interesting pepper I can't recall the unusual name) was very good as well. The tea was brewed fresh and made iced to order. The "cookie" we had was light and although the filling was decadent, I don't believe it was over-the-top sweet. It was cool to see other desserts on the counter which we were unfamiliar with. It took restraint not to order more sweets. The English speaking diners in there claimed the food was delicious and I thought their meals all looked excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. I would return here again if in the area.
