If your dog is like mine prior to training--a bad boy with a good heart--then Hunter's World dog training services are the way to go to get your dog under control and not lose any of those amazing qualities of your fur baby. My 2-year-old Mini Aussie is a ball of unconditional love and fun, but also unmetered energy, which was often uncontrollable for my wife and I. That is, until Dave trained our pup. Prior to the two-week board with Dave, Sawyer had some behavioral issues that were extremely off-putting to other people and other dogs. To name a few, he pulled incessantly on leash, he was extremely reactive to other dogs, he jumped and tried kissing anyone who walked through the door (which is scary to little kids), he barked relentlessly if left in the crate, and he only obeyed commands when it suited his interests. Some of this is probably a poor reflection on us as owners, but we will happily admit that we are "softies" when it comes to our boys.
My wife and I were convinced that our dog Sawyer would either make Dave quit the business of dog training or force him to give him back 2 days in, but Dave managed to do the seemingly impossible. Sawyer is the same fun and loveable pup that we adore, except now he walks at my heel without a leash, ignores other dogs unless I give him permission, treats newcomers in the home with respect, and he even knows a lot of useful commands such as sit, down, heel, place, off, come, and break--of which he can do in the most distracting of environments. My wife and I were particularly concerned for the safety of our dog with these behaviors and Dave's training has really put those concerns to rest.
Overall, when it comes to customer service and satisfaction, Dave receives my highest praise. My wife and I had additional questions on the process of training and Dave was more than willing to spend any length of time before, during, and after the board answering all our questions, providing updates, and even training you how to sustain our dog's performance. If you do not have the time, energy, or heart to put your dog through the disciplined behavioral modification you so desire them to have, I can assure you, going with Hunter's World is well-worth the cost. Dave will be the first to tell you that this isn't a magic pill that fixes your dog once and for all and never requires another ounce of energy, but as long as you do the 5% of maintenance training, he takes them the other 95% of the way to being a "good boy with a good heart". read more
