Walked in to an amazingly warm greeting. It was early so there were very few patrons. The set up is cool. Brewery / bar and grill style. Simple yet comfortable enough to hang out for a while. Once seated, we were given a moment to settle in and then we met our server. Jaie was awesome. Great energy, offered menu suggestions based on our conversation and ensured we were well stocked with table must haves. Customer service... 5 stars. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich with jalapeños and sweet potato fries. She immediately raved about the taste. Naturally, I took a bite (Safety and Research purposes only). As any good husband should! For me, as suggested, I tried the Devils Path Burger. A burger and brisket combo with shoestring fries. Flavor galore! I'm not certain what I was expecting initially. But the result was a carnivore's dream. Somewhere, there's a BBQ pit master with a brisket patch sewn onto his/her apron. Also want to acknowledge the lady behind the bar and the guy that bused our table. The staff as a whole made the visit a success.

Came in for drinks and chill and we were able to sit promptly at the bar area. Nice variety of beers offered as well as some ciders and sours. Lots of food options as well although we didn't sit in for a meal. Great views of Hunter and the space was very open and bustling. Fun space for a meal or drinks and watching sports after skiing or just if you're in the area!

So glad we found this place on the way home from skiing. We need a place to get some snacks before hitting the road. apparently early December everything closes around 3:30. Hunter trails closed at 4 PM. We had a glass of wine, green salad, and Caesar salad and fries. Service was friendly and courteous.

Gateway Burger Regular fries/chips (closer plate) Onion rings (further plate)

Came here before leaving hunter mountain. The majority of us ordered the Gateway burger, medium rare, and we ordered different sides (regular chips, onion rings, and sweet potato fries) so that we could try all of them and share. The onion rings and sweet potato fries cost $3 extra. All 3 were solid options! The regular chips are more like kettle chips and very fried and crispy! Perfectly salted as well. The sweet potato fries were not as crispy but still very honey sweet, but a tad too salty. The onion rings were by far my favorite. They were perfectly crispy, lightly battered, and were made from real full onions! Definitely will order the onion rings again in the future, even with the $3 extra cost. The burger was also perfect. Not too done and slightly pink in the center. Very juicy and was devoured within 5 minutes. Haha. I would have preferred more than 2 pickles though in my burger though. But overall, was an enjoyable meal and would be back again!

Yummy, warm and hearty dinner - perfect for post hikes or road trip! We did penne alla vodka and shrimp scampi takeaway. Lots of interesting Indian options too!

After a day in the mountain, this is the perfect spot to drop by for a drink and some food. This is minutes down the road from Hunter Mountain and every time I've went, I always make a point to stop by. I believe during the week they host theme nights, Trivia to name one of them. I tried their Fish and Chips and the fish was fried so well. It was still juicy and not dry at all. They have a good selection of drinks and beer at the bar. I always get their H.M. Be Easy, it's such a good drink. It reminds me of Blue Moon, but better.

Nothing like a well-situated brewery after a great day of skiing at nearby Hunter Mountain! Hunter Mountain Brewery has a relaxed rustic vibe and whether you're just dropping by for some to go's or sitting for a meal, you'll be right at home here. We bought the "just peachy" after tasting a few and highly recommend if it's on tap!

Wow! A new favorite spot for après ski located right next to Hunter mountain! There is a small parking lot out front with two rows of parking and it fills up quick! The views of the ski mountain are beautiful from this brewery/restaurant. Upon walking in the young man behind the host stand was extremely pleasant and friendly. We were able to be seated immediately which was great as we were hungry from a day on the slopes! We opted to share a bunch of different things from their menu. We ordered the beer cheese soup, honey garlic parm wings, signature Mac, and voodoo balls. I ordered their hot cocoa that comes with fresh whipped cream on top and it was perfect to warm me up after a chilly windy day of skiing. Our food all came out rather quickly and everything was absolutely amazing! The honey garlic parm wings I could've eaten the entire tray myself. The flavor was sweet, cheesy, and had a subtle taste of garlic. The wings had a delightful crunch to them with each new bite. Highly recommend this flavor combination, you will not be disappointed! The signature Mac was such a delightful cheesy goodness that I swear warmed my soul LOL! It needed a tiny sprinkle of salt on top and was so gooey and delicious. The voodoo balls were good but not my favorite as I'm very picky with meatballs. So I'll defer to my boyfriend's judgement. He said the bacon wrapped part was amazing as it gave it a crunch Smokey flavor. The meatballs were a bit dry but the sauce on them was a Smokey tangy bbq that was good. The beer cheese soup was delicious and super hot so we had to wait a bit to enjoy. It was great with the crackers on top however I would've loved it to be a tiny bit thicker consistency wise. Overall amazing service, delicious food, and very well priced menus. A must try!

What an amazing view of the mountain from our seat! All seats I guess especially the outdoor seating. Standard American food was served to us. Enjoyed each food and drinks order we placed. Was not disappointed on how it tasted. Beverages met our expectations. Unfortunately hubby just had surgery and can't take any of the brewery's ales. Maybe on next visit. Pleasant experience.

What a great place to have a meal, had an awesome mountain view while eating lunch with wife. My wife and I always make it a point to always try a local brewery whenever we are on a weekend getaway, so we found and discovered this fabulous brewery through our YELP app while around Hunter mountain. Once we got here, I noticed that car parking was very easy as they have ample parking space. We got in, the ambiance was very cozy. We chose a table near a window which has a very beautiful view of a mountain. We ordered and opted to have French onion soup, French fries, cold chocolate drink ( no alcohol as I just had surgery ) and a pulled pork sandwich. Everything tasted well, plating was good, costumer service was incredible, ambiance was fantastic, cleanliness was 5/5. All in all, I was very pleased to have found this place for a meal. If you happen to be in the Hunter mountain area, make sure to drop by in this brewery.

Enjoyed a family dinner here on a Friday night with no wait. Sat on the deck overlooking the beautiful mountains. Picnic tables for up to 8 people with umbrellas to block the sunset from blinding your eyes, and attentive waitresses who know their menu. I had the curried chicken and chickpeas over rice, which was both gluten free and dairy free. Waited to write this the next day so that I could confirm I didn't have any issues with cross contamination, and all was good... and delicious! My husband had a brisket sandwich and sweet potatoes fries (which could've used another two minutes in the fryer), one kid enjoyed the penne pasta with vodka sauce and added chicken (extra charge for chicken), and another had a bacon chicken ranch pizza. All enjoyed their meals, with leftovers of the penne and my Indian dish to enjoy for lunch the next day. Highly recommend, yummy meal in Hunter!

Stoped in here while driving around. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice. Wide open and plenty of space. Dog friendly and the food was delicious. I'm looking forward to coming back it's nice to find go to spots.

Friendly service, good beer selection, and a large deck with views of the mountain. Only food we tried were the pretzel bites--oddly, seemed deep-fried?

Terrible food, terrible service. Would not recommend nor give a second chance. Don't even brew their own beer, not sure how it's a brewery

We had the raclette, herbed spaetzle and split chicken schnitzel. First, the raclette was so delicious. The cheese was warm and gooey over tender potatoes, and accompanied by various pickled items & crostini. The herbed spaetzle was good, though a touch sweet for my taste. Regardless, it was delicious and warm. The waiter had the schnitzel split for us without asking, which I appreciated. It was juicy and paired with sour/sweet red cabbage and mustard/tangy German potato salad. The meal was very filling and not badly priced. The food here is legitimately delicious, not "just good" for a restaurant near the ski resort. We sat outside on the upper deck with a nice mountain view. After dinner we had a drink by one of the open fire pits outside, which was a cozy way to end a delicious meal. We will definitely be back when in the area.

Ive been to Germany a few times and can say this is authentic. The chicken schnitzel with jager sauce is so flavorful and rich. The jager sauce is a dark brown mushroom sauce (similar to a Marsala). The name jager means huntsman. Substituted the seasonal vegetable (carrot and asparagus) for the cabbage which was so delicious. The meal is hearty and rich. The staff was wonderful. The Apple strudel was one of the best desserts I've ever had with cinnamon ice cream. I can only imagine how cozy this place is during the fall and winter. Absolutely worth the price.

We arrived about 2 hours after opening on a Saturday afternoon in August and it was pretty packed. Since we had the dogs with us so we searched for a shady spot on a sunny afternoon so that they would be comfortable. Luckily we found one! The beer was good. We really enjoyed the Catch & Release, Mountain Life and the Dutchie. The basil in the Dutchie was really refreshing! We purchased Mountain Life and Dutchie in cans. The food was definitely not the highlight. They told us they were very behind and that the pizza would take an hour or more. They also wouldn't take our order initially because they had no buzzers left. We came back two times to see if any buzzers had come back. We ended up ordering the smash burger, the chicken sando, and fries. This order took about 20-25 mins. The Smash burger had a nice caramelization. The chicken sando was tasty, but not worth the wait. We will be back!

The Cajun sauce was similar to buffalo but packed a better kick. We also ordered the Bavarian soft pretzels and garlic knots. The garlic knots were so light and fluffy and the marinara sauce was well seasoned and extra garlicky in flavor which we both enjoyed. The Bavarian pretzels were so good on their own they didn't even need the beer cheese or mustard dipping sauce. We were stuffed and did not have room for any more food. Can't wait to come back and check out the rest of the menu. Pricing is extremely reasonable as well.

We sat in a corner booth and the ambiance was amazing. Our favorite dish was our starter, sourdough and mango burrata with prosciutto chips. The hamburger was yummy, we asked for it medium but it was likely closer to medium rare. The salmon (market fish) was good but only came with one single asparagus. It was a beautiful dish- I wish the flavor matched the presentation, I likely wouldn't order it again. The smoke and honey cocktail came out from the bartender with a box that was opened in front of us and released smoke, it smelled and was delicious- and I normally don't like bourbon! We had the vanilla ice cream with olive oil and salt flakes. The ice cream was creamy and yummy, I think it was heavy on the olive oil. The combination was new to us and was yummy, but feel as though it was drowning in olive oil. This time we are staying at Scribner's, (separate review) but AMAZING. We made reservations for 7 pm on our actual anniversary, we're seated quickly, ordered drinks, they acknowledged our anniversary which was cool. Drinks were good, we wanted to order apps and see where things went, The waitress informed us the chef "doesn't let us do that, you have to place your entire order at once. With all due respect, I'm in the industry, you were slow and now lost out on a lot . We were unsure what we were gonna do so we dialed it back more than we would have since you needed our entire order at once. Apps come- salad is amazing, the bread service was good. The broccoli/hummus was also good. The trout was ok, which it was a little creamier and more spreadable. Flavor was good, just texture. The entrees , I'm not sure what happened, this is where it went downhill and fast. there was a long space between apps and entrees, like we could have chose and ordered by the time they were delivered My pasta was ICE COLD, not warm, like I made this an hour ago and it just sat kind of under a heat lamp . The chicken was just ok, very hot, but bland. Played nicely but no flavor We really wanted dessert which if it's not gelato, you aren't getting it. So disappointed. There was no other option. That being said, server apologized about pasta , she also brought us out a caramel gelato for our anniversary.
