The chicken roll was the standout for me--it was well-seasoned, flavorful, and not overly greasy. The Meat Lovers pizza was also tasty and satisfying, especially with the Uber Eats promotion they were running. The penne vodka was decent, but I felt it could have been creamier and benefited from a little more depth of flavor. The restaurant itself is fairly small, but the staff member who assisted me was knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful, especially regarding the Uber Eats ordering process. Customer service on that front was a positive part of the experience. What unfortunately took away from my visit was overhearing the owner publicly discussing another I.e 16 handles local business and speaking negatively about its financial situation. Whether intended or not, it came across as unprofessional and wasn't something I expected to hear as a customer dining in. Conversations of that nature are better suited for a private setting, especially in a community-focused business environment. Overall, the food and service were good, and I would consider returning--especially to try some of their other menu items, such as the hot honey offerings I noticed being tested. However, I hope future visits feel more focused on hospitality and less on conversations that can make customers uncomfortable.

The guys behind the counter would always tell me "if you want something you don't see let us know and we'll make it for you" and the assortment of pies they had on display would make anyone drool. Things surely have changed. At what was a busy lunch rush, there was only one table occupied by the high school students from the nearby school. Nobody else was in there. The assortment of pies was almost dismal in comparison to what once was. The staff seemed like they didn't even want to be bothered. And when I noticed the dust all over the soda dispenser as well as on the glass display that the pizzas were in, I quickly realized why it has been so long since I've been here. Got a Caesar slice which in my opinion you can't make that wrong so I had no issues with that. But the chicken Marsala and Francese pies I used to crave were nowhere to be seen, who knows if it would even taste the same as the ones made years ago.
