You walk in and the big smell of egg welcomes you! Food is good, is like the way you (not a chef) will do it at home, real eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon good, fresh ingredients, clean place. Pancakes is just ok, no steak and eggs on the menú and coffee is just like black hot water, needs more attention to those details and will be a 4 Stars place. Rented a river house nearby and came here with a large group for breakfast. Believe it or not hungry Jack has one of the best burgers in town. They put the bacon egg and cheese burger. They also put 2 pieces of brioche bread which puts the icing on the cake. Mind you this is a breakfast spot. read more

Man this place is good. I've been here a couple times and the service and food is always great. I usually get the hungry jack. That always seems to fill me up! The only thing I am not a fan of is the sausage links. They just have an odd texture to it idk that's why I usually switch them for the sausage patties. Pancakes are pretty dam good here as well. This place has the heart and soul of a small town restaurant, but has the progressiveness of a big city eatery. The staff are extremely welcoming. The owner/manager fits right in with the line staff. He's so friendly and engaging with the customers that you wouldn't think he's the big boss. So back to the progressiveness! You won't see notepads and pencils when your server takes your order. Their methodology is super modern in that staff use smart phones to relay your orders to the kitchen. It's very streamlined and uniform, and reduces the margin for error in my opinion. The best part about any restaurant is the food, and Hungry Jack will do nothing but satisfy. I've eaten there a number of times and keep going back for good reason. More importantly, they really do create an experience. I took my four year old nephew for the first time and our waitress noticed how much he talked about bacon. This diner is a hidden gem. It's a nice breakfast place that reminds one of ihop or dennys. Right of the bat the friendliness of the staff is apparent. Your seated quickly and drink orders are taken. Menus are clean. This is key because it shows attentiveness to detail. It's extremely hard to keep menus clean in a breakfast restaurant that has syrup. If the place keeps menus clean then the food prep area is clean as well. Orders are put in on smart phones, which is neat. I had the hungry jack and my wife got the res white and blue waffle.
