Today I made my way back to Hungry Howie's, and they delivered my carry out order 100% accurately this time around. The order consisted of a medium pepperoni with savory ranch crust, another medium pineapple with spicy cajun seasoning, and an order of 3 cheese Howie bread. Ashley T. (friendly cashiers name on the receipt) made sure we left with the extra sauces and sides we ordered along with plenty of napkins/red pepper/ parmesan packets. Everything was still hot and tasty upon our arrival back home. It's super easy to place an order for pick up or delivery through their website (usually with a promo code deal) or over the phone. This location also has drive through window for convenience. I'm glad to add on an extra star for 100% accuracy!

ALWAYS on-point and NEVER skimpy on toppings

I don't eat pizza often, but when I have the opportunity to, I eat Howie's. Always hot, on-point, and their flavored crust options just can't be beat. Boone Howie's has really stepped up their game with a brand new location and building that is now within walking distance to App State's campus (smart move Howie's, smart move)... AND, when you think it couldn't get any better, Howie's cares about "the Boobie's" - check their boxes in October... ***I hope you enjoyed this review. I am a dietitian/nutritionist and take food VERY seriously!... I will always be honest with my reviews and I am on constant lookout for the best sources of deliciousness cities have to offer. Deep Dish Howie Bread

This was my first time trying Hungry Howie's, and I was pleasantly surprised! Usually go elsewhere for my takeout pizza needs, but it was late and we had coupons so we decided to give it a try. We got a medium 2-topping + deep dish Howie bread for just under $12- a steal! We ordered at home and it was ready within 15 minutes for pick up. Went in and it was only college students there, but understandable since it's right next to the college. The cashier was pleasant enough. The pizza itself was pretty darn good. We got meatballs on the pizza and they were sizable chunks of meat that was pretty surprising for a takeout pizza chain; I would definitely recommend checking them out. My boyfriend and I agreed that our favorite part was the garlic and herb crust though; perfectly salty and baked just right. The Howie bread wasn't the best cheesy bread that I've had, but it was decent and when dipped in ranch, pretty good. Would probably not go for them again though.

The Veggie pizza

The cashier was very nice and the asiago cheese crust was great. The cheese sticks were a little too buttery, so they were really greasy. The food is pretty good overall though.

Hungry howies is a well rounded pizza franchise. They have a deal at this location for one large stuff crust pizza with two toppings for only 12 dollars! They offer a variety of salads, subs(the bacon cheese ranch one I heard is delicious), and desserts! They have an amazing cinnamon bread that they hand make with the pizza dough! The wings were not very crispy or sauced and they do charge for extra sauce. But besides that a great experience! Slower delivery times towards later in the night so keep that in mind!

But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints. All in all, not an earthshaking experience, but a place I'd be willing to go back to. 3.5 stars.

My wife and I was were welcomed in by the hostess and seated quickly. It's not a huge space, but they've got a good bit of seating, and a little more upstairs, which allows you to look down into the brewery. Our server, Alex was very friendly and offered some beer recommendations based on our preference. They had a good variety to pick from and even some canned to go. Their food menu also offered a good selection. My wife and I decided to share an order of loaded fries to start, and then the "white buffalo" pizza. I enjoy white pizza, and enjoy buffalo chicken pizza...but this was the first time I've ever seen them together. The food was great, everything, tasted really good, and had good flavors. The Game Day IPA and Lost Province IPA's were both also very tasty Being a Friday night, they had a live musician, playing great music, which we really enjoyed while we ate and took in the atmosphere. I'd pass this recommendation on as well, and would return to try some of their other varried menu next time I visit Boone

There are several in the area so it really was a blind choice tk end up here. I like the atmosphere here. Reminds me of the bars up north. Rustic bar with a dining area of tables and chairs. And of course patio seating for those who enjoy eating outside or bring their dog with them. Our server was the bartender. She said early Saturdays weren't always busy and that's why she was alone. She was very friendly and efficient. Typical bar food but some with extra flair. A salmon sandwich. Burgers and chicken sandwiches kicked up a bit. A good variety and interesting choices. NOTE: They DO have allergy protocols in place. Make sure you tell your server if you have any allergies. Nice to see restaurants doing this. I ordered the cheesesteak all the way with max n cheese. There are several sides to choose from. Wife got the VooDoo chicken sandwich and fries. She said it was excellent. Mae got the Mountain of Nachos with chicken. All the food was excellent. The nachos could sleazily feed 3 hungry adults. Just be aware if you order it. It's massive. Love the atmosphere, food and service. Will definitely go back when we visit Boone. $41 + tip for three good lunches. I don't mind paying for good food and service. Give them a try.

Like, actual disgusting racism happening right in front of everyone, and the staff couldn't care less. He saw this Latino guy just trying to grab a drink at the bar, and this group of white women just absolutely went off on him. They were screaming slurs and calling him the most terrible names. It wasn't a joke or a misunderstanding; it was blatant, sickening, targeted hate speech. This is Boone, right? It's supposed to be chill, but apparently, not at this place. My boyfriend immediately went to the bouncer--the guy who's supposed to keep things safe--and told him exactly what was happening. And the bouncer's official response? He said he couldn't do anything. Seriously?! A grown man is being harassed with racial slurs, and your security just shrugs and walks away? That's not just unprofessional; that's actively letting racism happen on your property. It's like they're totally cool with it. I am livid. My friends and I are DONE with Elevation 3333. No way are we giving business to a place that allows blatant disrespect and racism to run wild and then won't lift a finger to stop it. This is beyond gross. Spread the word--if they let this kind of stuff happen, they don't deserve our money.
