Small dive bar feel.. close to the hotel we stayed about 1.5 miles away. We got the adult grill cheese it was good. Service was good considering she's like the only one running the show.

My fam of 4, including my kiddos ages 8 and 4, had dinner this evening after a day of hiking. Holly was our server and she was fantastic. Super friendly, helpful and polite. We sat on the patio and our pup was welcomed. Holly even brought her a water bowl, much appreciated. Kids ordered: chicken fingers with fries and cheeseburger with fries. They both enjoyed their food. No complaints from our boys! My husband and I split wings. We had hot and teriyaki. They were great. He said the Hot was not terribly hot, so if you want HOT order up. We also split the southwest wrap, but,got chicken instead of steak. No complaints. The rosemary fries were awesome! The rosemary was not overbearing. Excellent. Perfect pub style food. Easy going atmosphere. Kid friendly during dinner hours. They are super affordable. Not 2 $$ We most definitely will be back!

Pork tacos come 3 to an order w/ chips and salsa. I already scarfed one down!

I recently watched a couple of football games here with the boyfriend. The awesome bartender Adrienne (not sure on spelling?) made sure both of the games we wanted to watch were on the TVs nearest to us. She asked as soon as we got seated, we really appreciated such great service! The cheap tall boys, pulled pork tacos, and the Old Faithful burger definitely satisfied our game day cravings. I subbed NC vinegar sauce on the tacos and ended up asking for extra hot sauce on the side. Glad I asked because together both sauces made a great combo. His classic style burger was huge and tasty. The boyfriend devoured it in flash! While this place is close to campus, it is not overrun with crazy amounts of ASU students. At least on this particular Sunday, the crowd consisted of a low key fun local crowd enjoying some quality football on 3333's nice spread of TVs.

Pimento cheese burger and crispy tots...seriously perfect.

Do these guys typically show UFC pay-per-view fights? I'm looking for somewhere to watch McGregor on July 10?

I also highly recommend the sweet potato tots and honey mustard which is tangy and made with Dijon. But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints. All in all, not an earthshaking experience, but a place I'd be willing to go back to. 3.5 stars.

I've been to this location once before with a friend to try the wood fired pizza - which is…read morefantastic - but tonight I was solo and sat at the bar. They have an open kitchen concept that could be an amazing experience (huge wood fire oven you can watch the cooks work, watch the pizza crust being tossed in the air, toppings added, and pies created) but sitting at the bar totally ruined that - trash all over the floor, employees throwing order tickets on the floor, rags and a towel under the prep sink, and worst of all - the over flowing trash cans with rubber gloves falling out. It was gross. The employee's had no respect for the open concept or keeping a clean cooking area. All the pieces to make the kitchen amazing (as it was obviously designed) are there, I just wish it was being used that way. Put away the clean dishes vs leaving them in those cleaning racks for everyone to look at, empty the trash, take some pride in the work. If it was treated like a sushi bar and glorified the way it can be, I'd give it 10 out of 5 stars!

My wife and I was were welcomed in by the hostess and seated quickly. It's not a huge space, but they've got a good bit of seating, and a little more upstairs, which allows you to look down into the brewery. Our server, Alex was very friendly and offered some beer recommendations based on our preference. They had a good variety to pick from and even some canned to go. Their food menu also offered a good selection. My wife and I decided to share an order of loaded fries to start, and then the "white buffalo" pizza. I enjoy white pizza, and enjoy buffalo chicken pizza...but this was the first time I've ever seen them together. The food was great, everything, tasted really good, and had good flavors. The Game Day IPA and Lost Province IPA's were both also very tasty Being a Friday night, they had a live musician, playing great music, which we really enjoyed while we ate and took in the atmosphere. I'd pass this recommendation on as well, and would return to try some of their other varried menu next time I visit Boone

I tried a pumpkin beer while Steve went for an espresso martini--both were fantastic choices for a fall afternoon. Since portions are usually huge when traveling and we don't like carrying leftovers, we decided to share the Tuna Poke Power Bowl ($20). It came with quinoa and spring mix as the base, topped with edamame, cucumbers, guacamole, cabbage, crispy wontons, and fresh ahi tuna. It was flavorful and beautifully presented, though I honestly couldn't find much quinoa--it felt more like a salad than a grain bowl. Still, everything tasted fresh, the service was wonderful, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a great spot to stop if you're exploring Boone!

The Tuna Poke Nachos were incredible, almost comparable to the ones at Yard House, and the Flounder Sandwich was also a tasty choice. However, there were a couple of misses. The Smash Burger wasn't very flavorful and definitely needed a bit more sauce to bring it to life. I also grabbed a Caesar salad, but the croutons were a little weird and personally weren't my favorite. The service was standard and got the job done, but overall, it's a nice spot I'd visit again for the nachos alone.

We found parking on a side street near Blowing Rock Brewing, so decided to enjoy a drink and get some lunch. We were seated quickly, near a heater, which was nice to help us warm up after being on the mountain. A waiter came by with menus to take our order. We asked for some suggestions, but he was a little less than enthused to offer advise. They had a good variety of beers, so my wife and I each got one, and shared them. We got the Pina Colada Kolsch and the Cloud Rise Hazy Ipa. Both were tasty, the Pina Colada Kolsch had a much stronger pineapple flavor than I expected, but in a good way. For food we started with the white cheddar poblano, which I expected to be more of a liquid queso for some reason. It was instead for of a soft, spread, which was really good, and paired well with the chips. And then we split the Turkey Reuben, which I figured would be made with deli meat, instead, it was warm, cooked chunks of turkey, really great flavor, and hit the spot for us. The sides with the sandwiches were a bit lacking, only offering hot chips, and green beans....I've never gotten the whole hot chip craze, but green beans just seamed like too odd of a side option for a sandwich It was a good visit, and a good meal, to get us back on our feet. Overall, a nice space, with bar seating, a back room, a back and front patio, plenty of space to hang out, relax and enjoy their beer. Food and drink were both good and worth a visit if you're in the area.
