My burger was delicious and above and beyond any fast-food burger I have had before, at comparable prices. They serve grass-fed beef, chuck, round and sirloin. It is fresh, not frozen, and the meats are without hormones. My portion of fries was large, and I couldn't finish them. A smaller portion option would have been nice. I found the setup here confusing, as I wasn't sure where to enter from the parking lot, and then I wasn't sure where to order. Ordering is done at the kiosk or via a QR code. So expect a wait for the kiosk. I use kiosks and apps often, but this particular system was not smooth. I found the kiosk not as easy to use as it should have been; after I selected what I wanted, there was no way to get to the next screen to check out. I went with the build-your-own and was also disappointed that tomatoes weren't an option to add to the burger, but maybe they were out. They are a cashless business. When your order is ready, it is placed on a front cart, while drinks and sauces are self-serve. If I return, I will likely stick to the drive-thru, as that seems to be a much smoother ordering experience. Having a real person take your order and hand you everything you need at the window beats fighting with the kiosk inside.

Scully sauce is good but get it on the side bc it's a little too much in the amount that's used by the kitchen. Chicken biscuits are all excellent too. I liked the Hen Solo with a side of sauce even more than the pimento cheese one. The sweet hush puppies are good - they absorb a lot of oil in the frying, so proceed with caution, but they're excellent dipped in the various jams from the jam bar. Staff is friendly, place is clean, but pack patience bc it takes a long time to get the food. A+ breakfast food.

The line was exceptionally long, to the point that traffic was honking at waiting cars who were sticking out into the road. They do have a great array of sauces and food options, but the product was sorely lacking. I ordered a burger, fries, and a drink and the total came up like I'd also accidentally purchased the building. A regular fry shows up in a cup and a bag because they give you roughly a bushel of potatoes -- which is great, except I'm pretty sure I'm paying per potato. I always walk out happy and then immediately do quiet math in the parking lot wondering what just happened to my paycheck. Worth it once in a while. Just don't make eye contact with the total.

It's a nice break away from all of the local options (don't get me wrong... those are amazing for sure). But if you just want a regular burger with a variety of toppings, you want some good fries - especially the Cajun fries, and you want reliable and quick service and this is the place to come. Pretty much the only drawback is it can be kind of hard to turn into the parking lot and parking seems tight. But this is more about the location less about the place itself. I've never had anything but quick and good service here over the years. And props to them for being open on Fourth of July!

Tonight was a final straw moment for me; the employee at the front of the line told me that other than fajita veggies and chicken al pastor, they had every item in stock (as locals know, this is rare for the Boone location to not be out of at least 1-3 items regularly). After building my bowl and getting to the end of the line I asked for chips and a side of guac, at which point the employee building my bowl was informed by a coworker that they had no tortilla chips (didn't address me or apologize in any form). The chips and guacamole are one of the most pleasant experiences about a chipotle restaurant, so I was disappointed that the employee building my bowl did not even make the effort to ensure they had the ingredient or try to make it right. They also didn't address this fact other than asking me "so, do you still want your side of guacamole?" Don't waste your time going to this location, you'd be better off, driving to the next nearest one which is 40+ miles away, where they can manage to keep simple items like chicken, guacamole, and peppers in stock (not to mention the Boone location is next to a Walmart). If the franchise owner has any pride or human dignity left in their sorry sack of bones, they would to keep standards up. I think this location needs a serious evaluation and the owner should be ashamed that they would dare call this a "restaurant", as nothing here resembles customer service or even basic human kindness. Do better Chipotle franchise management.
