I've stopped by here a couple times since it's right around the corner from my apartment. I had a capuccino and an americano, both yummy. Also, I had their multigrain croissant, which was really good! I keep eyeing those donuts... It's definitely overpriced and a little hipster/snooty for me, but I'll take it since it's good and convenient. Unfortunately, there's no wifi so when I'm looking for a change of scenery to get some work done, I have to pass this one up for another cafe. read more

Decent coffee, drinks and snacks. My only beef with this place, and it seems insignificant but, no benches outside. And they have plenty of room for it. A lot of times you just wanna chill outside. Also there is no Wi-Fi for some reason. EDIT: They put benches outside. Nice job read more

The coffee is always great, the baristas are super nice, and the vibe is good. The pastry is great as well. I wish the sandwiches were better, though! Not a fan of either their breakfast sandwiches or the Marius & Co sandwiches they carry. So I never go there for food. But the coffee is the bomb! read more

My favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. They serve Stumptown so you know it's going to be delicious. In the summer, I love their Nitro Cold Brew - so creamy and smooth, you MAY be able to pull off adding any creamer or sugar, it's THAT good. They also serve Ovenly baked goodies, definitely try them if you are in the mood for a snack. Be sure to check out the silver cowskull and the cool aero chair in the corner - it's the best nook in the house. read more

This place gets a good rap B/c the name, but This place sucks. It's pricey the employees are rude. I work at Starbucks for the last 5 years so I kinda love coffee and with every great cup of coffee come with a smile and a thank you. If your gonna charge so much I would at least like to be treated like a person spending my money at your store. Never coming back! read more

Just ordered lunch from them through Postmates, turns out they're not making food at the moment because of the pandemic. Cool, but a) might want to take food options off postmates and b) call customers to tell them if their order isn't available. Instead they had a courier deliver just a coffee... which I effectively paid 30 bucks for. I would have easily cancelled the order, and now I'm unsure how to get my refund as they won't answer the phone. read more

I wanted a cup of water with my sandwich. The guy said I needed to pay for a plastic cup. He handed me a tiny glass tumbler and said, "This is free and you can fill it up as many times as you want." Good coffee, good pastries. Decor needs work. Putting my "architect" hat on for a moment, you really need to adjust the bench and table height, guys. Tables at the windows are too tall for the bench height - very hard to sit at and use the table, and I, at least, am tall! Also, double-pane windows should have been put in instead of those single pane ones (I didn't know single-pane existed any more) - this place is way too drafty and with condensation on all the windows. Lastly, I am surprised that coffee shops exist, nowadays, that don't have wifi. Seriously? Couldn't spring for a $40/month internet connection? Your clientele would expect this. read more

There's no wifi here. I went into the coffee shop and asked specifically if I could work there, and they told me I could. I then asked if I could use an outlet and they pointed me to the one outlet. I then ordered then paid for my drink, and only after that did I realize that there was no wifi. Why wouldn't they tell me that before I ordered? They looked at me as if I were rude when I gave them back the drink and left... I think they are condescending hipsters. I will never go back and I hope they add a sign that says they don't have wifi. read more

Love this place. Great name, coffee, service. Smells like heaven. Didn't try the food, but I wanna. Delicious drip coffee. Even have beer - eclectic selection of rotating local brews. Baristas are super-friendly, found out the whole history and raison d'être of the place while trying one of the brews. Chippy coffee house during the day, chill lil' bar at night. I love this little coffee shop! They have stumptown cold brew on tap, and it's all I've ever wanted. Pastry selection is great from what I've tasted, and gotta love a fresh DOUGH donut. However, I just gotta comment on the straws! An easy fix, but they're kind of on the softer side so the lid of the iced coffee sort of crushes the straw. Straight clear straws would be best. Overall amazing, even despite the straws - but quick fix on that. :) read more

Love this place! Great coffee, great food and a very friendly staff. It has a great energy and they play some pretty good music. If you're looking for a cozy place to grab a cup of coffee, a sandwich or a freshly baked pastry, this is the place to go. I had the chili when I went and it was delicious - if they have it I definitely recommend it. So, I love this little shop. The nicest people work here and their coffee is REALLY GOOD. Cold brew AND nitro on tap! Their espresso is on point. Their sandwiches are really good. HOWEVER the star of the show, to me, at least, is the baked goods. Damn, son. Those cookies, though. Unreal. Get the ginger cookie. Get the oatmeal chocolate chip thing they have sometimes. They even carry Dough doughnuts. My only complaint? Not enough outlets and no wifi. But no matter. Come here to read or study or people watch. It's worth it. :) read more
