I could order a slab of this bread, sit on a park bench and call it lunch. Fresh, soft, flavorful and ridiculously good. If carbs are the enemy, I'm prepared to negotiate a peace treaty. My wife and I shared the Caprese salad and the Romeo and Juliet sandwich. Wow. Fresh mozzarella. High quality balsamic. Fresh ingredients. Big flavors. Everything worked together beautifully. And then, of course, there was that focaccia holding the whole operation together. Did I mention the focaccia? Dallas Tor is exactly the kind of place I love finding while traveling. The sandwiches are loaded with Italian meats and cheeses and combinations of things like pesto, sun-dried tomato spreads and other really flavorful ingredients. Everything we've tried has been delicious. One thing to know: the sandwiches are dependent on the bread. We've been there later in the day when they had run out of focaccia and stopped making sandwiches, so if that's what you're going for, I wouldn't wait until too late in the day. We also love their chopped salad. It's loaded with lettuce, Italian meat, cheese and a great dressing, and it's one of those salads we end up ordering every time.
