Hot and Sour soup has a nice mix of fungi. The heat comes from white pepper, for flavor that is not what you usually find.

MONGOLIAN BEEF??? There was more onions and cabbage then beef

i frequently order from this restaurant but for some reason i had a bad experience with a particular employee twice but on two separate occasions same situation about item pricing discussed amongst eachother right in front of the customers i didnt like it not only because she had a problem after the fact of my order was paid in full but i didnt appreciate her lack of professionalism with the employees that actually took my order she discussed business of another restaurant while in the current location set the prices correctly but don't discuss your opinions in front of customers bad customer service and lack of employee mutual respect take it to the kitchen and discuss it not in the public eyes and ears to witness do better you know who u are

I've been getting menus for this restaurant since I moved here two years ago and have yet to try until tonight. I had burned the dinner I was going to serve and was desperate for something that wasn't a drive thru. I grabbed my menu and called in. The girl who answered the phone was very sweet and took her time with me. The first question I had was how long would it take for my delivery to arrive that way I could let my starving family know how much time it would take. After she let me know it would take 30 minutes I proceeded to give my order, I knew exactly what I wanted but asked her one last question of what she liked. So she mentioned a few entrees and I chose some extras. Here is what I ordered for my family of 6. Orange chicken, General Taos chicken, garlic beef, combination lo mein, crab ragoons, cashew chicken, chicken fried rice and walnut shrimp. I also got a egg flower soup. All entrees came with steamed rice as well. Everything was delicious! Especially the crab ragoons! The soup was comforting and very warm considering it was delivered. If I could "complain" about anything it would be for more chicken and less celery in the cashew chicken and more pieces of meat in the garlic beef BUT I can't complain because the taste was fire! With all dishes. Everything was so fresh. My entire family loved this food. I don't understand all the negative rants about this restaurant. We all loved it and we are so picky especially with our Asian food. We will definitely start ordering from them more often. Also I would love to mention the delivery one more time as it arrived right when promised and the man who brought it was the sweetest! Please remember when you review these restaurants these people are working their faces off so that people are fed and happy. Say nice things and tip your servers and drivers. A little goes a long way instead of just grumbling and complaining. Thank you for delicious dinner!

Hair in soup.

We have been loyal customers for more than a decade and today they lost our patronage due to substandard food and service. They regularly short us on one thing or another but Hunan Palace is one of the few places our kid likes. Today we ordered $65 worth of food and it was definitely not worth it. The picture attached shows the egg drop soup with a hair in it. We ordered vegetarian lo mein and rangoons and they gave us shrimp fried rice and shrimp rolls. I have a shellfish allergy. When I called them to let them know, the lady who took our order argued with me and then hung up on me. I was calling to let them know to check the other person's order because they won't be getting their shrimp. Too many bad orders from them. I guess I now know why there is a blown out window with a bullet hole at their establishment. 0 stars if I could. Don't waste your hard earned money here.

Was supposed to be hot and sour! Not sure what this is!!

Young kids doing hard work on a friday evening instead of partying. And they did a great job!!! Second, the food: We had the soup dumplings, the won ton in the chili sauce, the minced pork noodle and the stir fry noodles with beef. The food was amazing, could be a little bit more spicy though, but they have some hot sauces and chili oil to turn it up a notch. The noodles were perfectly cooked, not to soft and not al dente. Prices are good, portions are plenty. Also, they have these super delicious garlicky cucumbers in a savory sauce/dressing at the self serve section. I should have taken more of those. It's a neat little place, they also have these cute little booths outside. I already know what i will try next time we go there. This place is up my (noodle) alley!

TLDR: SO much potential…read more From the pictures online, Noodle Alley looked legit! Simple seating, bamboo plants, simple wood furniture, red lanterns and a shrine-- it gives traditional without even trying. You can order either at the counter or directly at your table via QR code. I'd recommend ordering at the counter, since it seems like table orders take longer to get moving. If your body runs warm, their central AC isn't running and for the most part, I found myself too hot to even want to order noodles with broth. Instead, I opted for the Cold Sesame noodles, which surprisingly wasn't bad! NOTE: the picture overhypes the dish and the actual result/taste look nothing like it. It absolutely needed more dimension other than the cucumbers, lettuce, and carrots-- fried garlic, lime, peanuts, scallions, ANYTHING. The chicken was tender (THANK GOODNESS), but should have been more shredded. Small menu items: *The Taiwanese Popcorn: another one-dimensional item that could have been so much better. It needed more spices and BASIL! *Soup Dumplings: Came out deflated with not enough soup, but the good news: the dumpling wrapper was tender and the pork filling wasn't too bad. *Shrimp & Pork Wontons in Chili Sauce: needs more acidity, I added a few drops of vinegar and it made the dish perfect Self-Service: In addition to being able to order at your table, Noodle Alley has a self-service bar where they serve oranges (essential to end all Chinese meals) and cucumber salad. Though there seems to be some praise for the cucumber salad, we found it to be too soggy meaning it's been sitting for some time.

Of course got my Hojicha (hot) with oat milk and 25% sugar, no boba. It was perfect. It was a little drizzley out and I was stopping to check on my tire situation (no flat!) Had to get a green onion pancake, you just can't resist. This is the quintessential Taiwanese snack, (any-time-day savory snack) that just brings back childhood memories for me. The crispy crunchy outer layer was perfect and before you take that first bite, light dip in the sauce... or doesn't need the sauce, it's that good. Some items on their food menu are: Takoyaki Taiwanese Cold Noodles Braised pork rice box Bbq pork bao I'm not a cold noodle person, but surprisingly those were quite delish. Their bun was warmed up and you know how that goes - the dough becomes chewy. We'd recommend the braised pork. This is an internet cafe with wall outlets next to each table for laptop workers. There's indoor and outdoor seating, some cushined chairs, and a comfy couch for loungers. The decor is warm with a nicely painted design. Excellent friendly service tops off the tea cups with helpful information about the teas and options for how they're served. I hope you find this somewhat hidden spot in Downtown Temple and give them a try!

You order at the counter and they deliver the food table side. No frills on the service, which is why it's affordable. We ordered: pork XLB, pan fried pork and shrimp dumplings, scallion pancakes, steamed pork buns, and suan tsai spicy beef noodles. The suan tsai spicy beef noodles with pickled greens stole the show. WOW. Perfect amount of heat in a flavorful broth. The pickled greens really balanced out the heat in the perfect way. I could eat this every day and be happy. Noodles were thick and perfectly cooked. I was inhaling the soup and scallion pancakes (also incredible) and left the XLB sitting too long. By the time I got to them, the slightly thicker wrapping had absorbed all the soup. Still good flavor though! The pan fried dumplings were also good, but just overshadowed by the soup in my opinion. I didn't try the steamed buns (not typically my jam), and my husband said the bun itself was great, but the meat needed some flavor. Nothing to photograph as we ate almost everything! I'll be dreaming about the pickled soup tonight as I roll into bed.

The boba itself was perfectly chewy and just sweet enough to complement the drink, not overpower it. I also really appreciated that, even with no ice, they filled my cup completely to the top. Simple, thoughtful detail and it makes all the difference. Service: The staff here was genuinely kind and patient. I asked a few questions about sweetness levels and tea bases (I'm mindful about sugar intake), and they answered every one with care, no judgment, no pressure, no upselling. They made the drink exactly how I ordered it and didn't try to push other menu options on me. That respect and attentiveness go such a long way. Ambiance: Cha Community has such a warm, creative vibe, red brick walls, cozy coffeehouse energy, indie music, local art, and stickers that make the space feel personal and loved. The whole café smelled amazing, and you can tell they've put heart into the details. It's the kind of place that feels like a little pocket of calm and connection in the middle of the day.
