I love coming to this Chinese restaurant. If you go in to order it will be cheaper than ordering it to go or delivery. The person that takes the orders is friendly and is able to explain anything you need help with. The avg. time I wait is 25-30 minutes on a Friday evening. The inside is clean and easy to navigate. The food tastes great and is always hot!

I love this place! Been my go to spot since they opened years ago. Tall kid is great guy and always forgets my fortune cookie but I forgive him bc it's honest mistake. He always makes up for it. 5 stars!!!

I loved my first take out experience with Hunan Express. I got 4 orders (8) vegetable egg rolls, General Tso w/white rice, egg drop soup, and shrimp lo mein. All were flavorful. I would go back for sure.

We ordered the cumin beef, twice cooked pork, beef noodle soup, fish in chili oil, and also a beef pho (not pictured because we started eating it right away). The twice cooked pork was my favorite. Really flavorful pork belly with leeks and chili, a little smoky from the wok, and perfect with rice. I'd go back just for that dish. The cumin beef was also great -- lots of cumin and spices with crispy bits of beef. The fish in chili oil came in a huge bowl packed with dried chilies, garlic, and peppercorns. Definitely spicy but really good if you like Sichuan-style dishes. The beef noodle soup was comforting and hearty, and the beef pho was solid too -- good broth and a big bowl. It's a pretty casual setup since it's inside the grocery store, but the food is legit and the portions are generous. Definitely worth stopping by if you're already at Pan Asia or craving something spicy

Place your order, go shop a little and go back and grab your food or stay and eat-in at one of the many tables. The #17 noodles, no protein is my absolute go-to FAVORITE dish along with the sauteed green beans and their plain fried rice is better than their shrimp fried rice. I love that they offer whole and half duck. I have to try the crispy pork that hangs along side the duck in addition to the duck. Also the prices are reasonable and the portion size is nice. They have a great menu offering and even sell cold dishes on the outside of the register in the display case, such as: sushi and vegan duck. See my pics attached to my review for Pan Asia

On the bland side. Chicken with Garlic Sauce -- Thin carrot slices, baby corn, large broccoli heads, green pepper, white onion and large strips of juicy, tender chicken. Absolutely glorious flavor. I added a bit of soy sauce. But I couldn't find ANY GARLIC. General Tso's Chicken -- Miss C.'s dish, but she left some here. Broccoli and huge chunks of chicken, highly breaded, not hot AT ALL. Mongolian Beef -- Miss C.'s dish, but she left some here. Tender beef strips, green onions, broccoli, carrot strips, baby corn, green pepper and white onion And LOTS and LOTS of sauces to customize everything. Miss C. took control of the rice, 'cause I don't do rice. She ordered online, picked up the order and brought it to the house. (Their eat-in option is not a looker.) The eggrolls, crab Rangoon and pot stickers were ALL hot, crispy and well-filled. Tasty morsels! We both embellished with sauces. For the entrees . . . none of them were the best. They were A-OK but of the four, I'd say the Mongolian Beef was the best. Coming in at #2 was the Chicken with Garlic Sauce. And it tells me a lot that Miss C. left both of her entrees here. The appetizers are what got this review to 4 stars.

The parking lot is shared, and the restaurant is in a corner. I walked in and was greeted immediately even though she was working on other orders. They have about 3 to 4 tables for dining in. A few people were eating there, but mostly people waiting to pick up and go. I ordered a shrimp St. Paul and crab rangoon. The order took about 15 minutes, so I ran to schnucks to grab a few things. I came back and waited about 5 minutes until she called my order. Since I've been craving this for a while, I ran to the car and took a bite out of everything immediately. Ugh, I'm a bit disappointed. The Rangoon wasn't as crunchy on the outside as it should be. It don't have any pictures because my husband ate them. He also said he's had better. The shrimp St. Paul was bland and didn't have many sprouts in it. Guess I'll have to drive to North County or the city for the best taste. Overall, the staff was nice and I didn't wait very long for my order but I likely will not return.

What a find this was!…read more See pictures for the interior feel of the place. That's the only down side. Small place, feels more like a place to order take out. Not really conducive to eat in, it's not a totally comfortable vibe. But we did! As well as a few other people that came at the same time. The service was great! Server guy, I'm not sure what to call him, was extremely attentive, personable and did pretty much all the running around while we were there. He handled all the tables, handled the people picking up food for take out, and did it all smoothly. The food really was amazing. Again, see the pictures I posted. We over ordered, on purpose, to try a little of a lot of things. The corn soup was different, but good. Seems to be a mix of a few cans of cream corn, broth, and a few chicken bits (if you ordered chicken). We found it pleasant. The fried spinach was amazing. The yellow curry was amazing. The Mongolian beef was amazing. Thank you for the rice, there was quite a bit of it and the fried shrimp (I forget the official name...fried shrimp?) off the appetizer menu) was AMAZING. We will definitely go back. Even if it's just take out. I must say....we took the left overs home and they made the trip just fine and were still good as left overs. Highly recommend.
