Practicing here was a refreshing change from the typical "commercial" studio. Gina taught a unique, wonderful flow targeting all the appropriate muscles for the poses. I'm a yoga teacher myself and tend to get caught up in the details of the teachings when I practice, however, here it was easier to just let go, stay mindful and sink into the practice as a student. Was condescending and told me how new her type of practice would be new (despite being a long time yogi and attending acupuncture - the meridian flow was initially of interest but she did not ask just made assumptions). Too many cues for her subjective versions of Standard asana, and yet was condescending and corrective as if there on right way to do yoga. Very clear that she has her following and calling out people as if they are doing things "wrong" because they don't put their palms up, down, or sideways is the antithesis of yoga. Her over cued practice was distracting - long warm up with minimal sequence for a flow not dynamic. As a practitioner of over 20 years, I've taken classes with amazing, knowledgeable teachers and have learned to trust myself. l, and recovering from injury while trying to find grounding is what I need and did not find this a safe space to practice. Shawn runs a very special Yoga studio. Mudita Yoga is a non-branded, non judgmental, safe and inclusive place to practice. Her classes are original and engaging. Shawn is a compassionate and encouraging teacher with a keen focus that makes me feel like she's paying attention to Me! If you go early in the AM you can do early morning meditation and get a morning Fire Ceremony. the workshops at Mudita are also totally awesome. Their philosophy makes it possible & enjoyable for EVERYONE to practice, no matter what the skill level or your outfit. Ohhhhhhmmmmm!

Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. Allsport helps me stay in shape and I like that I can choose a workout option that works for me. They have an app that makes checking in and signing up for classes easy. Equipment is often updated. The price is on a higher side, but you get so much value for your money that it's worth paying. I use the club multiple times a week year around and very happy to have it in our community.

Taura is the only one who makes a big stink out of that, and even though I come out without arguing, she still told on me and had her supervisor come in to scold me. I highly recommend the pool area, but I do not recommend going in the hot tub on Sunday mornings because she is also disrespectful in general. Other members are starting to complain about her too.
