I had a favorite practice I went to in Illinois and I would travel there for my care until the practice was finally closed due the practice relocating out of state. I tried a different practice in Gilbert over a year ago and had an awful experience. I was talking with someone about my dilemma and she highly recommended Serenity Dental - so I ripped off the band-aid and gave them a call. Whenever I would call any other practice I was always told my asks were not feasible. My ask was: Warm or room temp water rather than cold, 4 shots of novacaine, the use of the Synapse Dental Eraser (and nobody has this tool - but it is truly miraculous at blocking out pain). In the absence of the dental eraser my ask was to add Nitrous (laughing gas) in addition to the warm water & novacaine. I was told they don't typically warm water ahead of time but they would do so for me and I was also told that the novacaine & nitrous was totally doable. I went in for my initial visit and got my teeth cleaned, x-rays, etc. Everyone in the practice was so very kind to me. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. The dentist even said he would provide me a prescription to obtain the dental eraser so that it can be used when needed at an appointment. I need to go back to take care of 2 cavities & have a crown. This is the first time in a long time that the idea of going back isn't giving me awful anxiety. Jess was the one that did the teeth cleaning for me and she is just a sweetheart. I also got to see Dr. Bhatt to discuss the needed care. He was super kind and really assured me that I came to the right place. So if anyone suffers from severe anxiety like me over dental visits - I would strongly encourage you to give this practice a try. This practice is truly the best - and I already love them more than the other practice I went to back in Illinois for over 25 years. This will be a long review as to explain the amount that Brandon has done for me would be hard to explain in a small paragraph. I have dealt with dental issues all growing up. My family all has had issues and a lot of it is genetic issues. I use to get anxiety going to the dentist. When I started seeing Brandon 8 years ago he was great at explaining things and making me feel comfortable. I started doing routine dental care because I now wasn't having the anxiety about going in because I could see how much he was helping me. My jaw has never sat correctly with my jaw alignment causing all the pressure to be on my front teeth. Which in turn caused extreme damage and loss of length on my front teeth. Brandon was so patient and thorough through the whole process of helping me decide what to do with my bite. In my pictures I will add to this review, you will see how much my teeth had been damaged over the years with the constant pressure being applied to my front teeth and what Brandon was able to do to create a beautiful smile and set me up in the future with a more stable bite. Brandon was able to do 12 crowns on the top to help build up the back of my teeth and make a more unified smile. Since having them done I have had minimal pain and almost forget that I had them done when I'm even eating. Brandon was very Thorough and he is a perfectionist with his work. I have heard on multiple occasions since having my teeth finished how amazing and natural they look. Most of the time they don't even know what's different which goes to show how natural they look. I love that he made them look so natural. I have had other people reaching out to see where I had my teeth done because they look so natural. I have also met other patient in passing at his office or finding out where I have gone for dental work, give raving reviews of him as well. I can see his staff and how happy they all are in his office and that also speaks loudly to the person he is and the atmosphere he has created. My experience with this practice was fairly positive at first, but it ultimately became one of the…read moreworst dental experiences I've ever had. I initially came in because I had chipped one of my implant crowns and wanted both front implant crowns remade. Dr. Robert Swanson was very casual about the chip and even suggested simply leaving it as it was. I wanted it repaired properly, and he assured me it would be "no problem." He also told me he worked with a great lab and even stated that the lab was "the most expensive in town."... When it came time to remove my original cemented crowns, Dr. Swanson seemed unsure. I even asked how many times he had removed cemented implant crowns before, and he replied, "Not a lot." Despite that, the temporary crowns they placed were excellent. They fit comfortably, looked natural, and I almost forgot they were temporary. The problems began with the lab visit. Dr. Swanson told me I would work directly with the lab to customize the appearance of my new crowns. Instead, after waiting more than 30 minutes past my appointment despite being the only patient there, I was briefly color-matched and sent on my way with very little discussion. When I returned to preview the finished crowns, they were missing the gum porcelain entirely and were much larger than expected. I questioned the lab because they had color matched my gums during my first visit. After stating it wasn't in the work order, they acknowledged the issue and told me to give them another week to correct it, this was Friday. Surprisingly, by Monday morning, Premier Family Dental called to say the crowns were already finished and ready for placement. That timeline immediately seemed unusual. When I saw the revised crowns, they were extremely bulky. They felt unnatural, interfered with my tongue and bite, and the tooth/gum colors did not match at all. I expressed my concerns before they were permanently placed, but I was told my jaw just needed time to adjust and that I was "hyper fixated" on them. Unfortunately, things only became worse. Within days I developed severe jaw clicking, popping, and discomfort. Over the next two weeks, I returned FOUR separate times for adjustments. Each visit involved grinding the crowns down further until the undersides became uncomfortable yet the problems remained. When I continued asking for the crowns to be remade, Dr. Swanson refused and even tried to tell me I needed a mouth guard for sleeping. During our final conversation, he told me he would not remake them and stated that no one in the practice had the ability or skill set to correct the issue. The practice ultimately refunded the ENTIRE procedure, acknowledging that the crowns would need to be redone elsewhere even though Swanson told me the only way I would get a refund is if I could prove to him I was going to get them re done, which was EXTREMELY unprofessional and unethical to assume I was dining and dashing when they failed me and did terrible work. Since the new crowns were put in I have sought two independent second opinions from other dental providers. Both offices examined the crowns and independently concluded that they were poorly made and would need to be completely remade rather than simply adjusted. Hearing the same conclusion from two separate providers confirmed that the problems were not simply a matter of "getting used to them," but that the crowns themselves were not acceptable and required replacement. As a result of this experience, I am now starting over with another provider and am receiving treatment for significant TMJ symptoms that developed after these crowns were placed. I also received a patient relationship termination letter after requesting that the work be corrected. I would NEVER recommend this office or the work of Robert Swanson based on my experience. What should have been a straightforward replacement of two implant crowns resulted in repeated adjustments, a complete refund, ongoing jaw problems, a very trusting relationship tarnished and the need to have the entire treatment redone elsewhere.

When I first called this office, they refused to give me a quote or estimate for the specific billing codes because they said that I had to make an appoint with the dentist to see my situation. They would not even tell me if the cost would be above $1500 which was the price for crown and abutment that I was trying to match, by an oral surgeon who refuses to do the crown because I got the implant done by someone other than himself. So when I arrived for the appointment, it turns out that the Endodontist office did not send the X-rays because it was not time yet for my followup appointment, but Every Smile dental office gave me print out of the "treatment plan" and cost anyhow, when before they said they couldn't. And this is without their dentist examining my mouth. Why could they do this, when before they told me they would not give me an estimate unless I came into the office to see the dentist. Now I told them I wasted my time going there, when they gave me their answer anyhow when I didn't have to SHOW UP IN THEIR OFFICE. Cost is 2 x the oral surgeon's price of $1500, plus a discount cos I am a senior, I get their plan discount free, cost is $2300. Boy, I was NOT SMILING when I walked out their door! They ensured that they could. They again stated that they could and scheduled the appointment. They call me the day of the appointment, a week later, to inform me that they made a mistake and cannot provide what my daughter needs. They said that all they can do is take x-rays and provide referrals. I already have the x-rays and THEY were the referral. Also, how is that service providing my daughter will any type of pain relief that we discussed via email and via phone prior. Their exact words were that "no one is perfect" and that there "is nothing they can do about it"! Mind you this is after I have already requested time off work and have been telling my daughter for a week to just hold in there because the dentist would be seeing her soon. ABSOLUTE IDIOTS!!!! AVOID THEIR STUPIDITY AT ALL COSTS.
