Food was cold (supposed to be hot) and wasn't fresh. Definitely not worth the expensive prices. Won't be back.

Rhae was very attentive and the food was prepared just as we ordered. It all came out at the same time.

This Huddle House has never left me disappointed. Kailyn in particular is quite a gem and the restaurant is lucky to have her. The waffles make me smile. It is usually peaceful in there as well and feels like a cozy little diner. Usually get the food fairly quickly too. Did I mention that Kailyn is awesome?? read more

We arrived around 5pm after touring Rickwood Holiday Caverns. Party of 7 (4 adults & 3 kids). The restaurant was clean and plenty of seating. We made took a large corner booth. Waitress was quick and attentive to us. She took orders and good was served within minutes. We enjoyed MVP dinners, stuffed hashbrowns, waffles, and grill cheese sandwiches. Everything was delicious!!! We would return and after a terrible dinner the night before at Cracker Barrell mentioned that nothing beats the old fashioned diner!! It's no Waffle House but the food was good. Waitress was kind of impatient about getting our order in. First time we had been to a HH.

Husband and I decided to eat here because we had to meet a friend in a convenient location. He got the MVP breakfast and I got the country fried steak plate. The waitress was very nice, got our orders out quickly and correctly. The food was good and the servings were good! They also let us use coupons another guest shared with us. Tables were not cleaned, took a long time to place an order, then waited 30-45 minutes before our food arrived which was cold. We had to ask for utensils, and did not receive syrup for our pancakes or ketchup and hot sauce. The restaurant looked fully staffed. I cannot recommend this restaurant nor will I be coming back. So sad. read more

If I could give a negative star I would I've never done a review but lived around here for 20 years and never have a seen such terrible effort put forth at a job. This isn't just one person either they messed up my order so I went back in and got them to fix it again (knowing I should have checked again) I am on the way home and just so happened to check and see my sausage is burnt my pancakes are burnt and cold how does that even happen? Hash browns were burnt brown/black how do you serve this type of food so I called (which I hate doing). And they were respectful about trying to help me out with my order saying they would replace it okay cool, I come in the morning two days later. (For the meal I am owed) I go in and it's all good they knew me got my order right everything except my toast. Thankfully this time as I am at Wayne's grabbing a drink I realize this and call them and ask them to please make me some I am on the way back over there. She said and I quote" we'll drop it for you" I pull up 1 minute later max and she hands me cold toast not even near room temperature butter not melted at all. TERRIBLE I used to support and love this establishment and my friends alike but it has been run down to the ground I think this place needs new management and a whole new crew. read more

Good Southern hospitality and food. We, 4 adults and 4 children, had an assortment of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and of course chocolate milk and coffee. Late night hot spot just off I65. We enjoyed our visit. We thought it was better than Waffle House. Waffle definitely tasted better. I had a Huddle Burger platter with the famous triple burger and tater tots. Everything was good. Worth the ten minute drive from Gardendale. Clean but service was slow. It thier defense, place was packed. They had three cooks so food was served quickly. Wish they had Coke products. read more

We got an order to go there tonight for the first time. It was terrible. I got a shrimp dinner. The shrimp was good. The fries were terrible and tasted like cardboard. The mac n cheese terrible and stuck to the sides and bottom of the styrofoam container. My dogs will have it for breakfast. The piece of Texas toast that came with it was wrapped in paper and very greasy. My husband got a patty melt and fries. The texas toast it was on was terribly greasy. First if all, patty melts should come on rye bread not Texas toast. And the cheese was that plastic American cheese. He said it tasted just like a hamburger on greasy bread with mayo and onions. And it came with cardboard tasting fries. When I called in the order, the girl didn't know anything about anything and finally had to call someone else to take the order. Neither one of us could eat it. I ate the shrimp only and he ate not even half if his sandwich. Will never ho back. We need a good restaurant in this town. The food was good and the facility is clean. However....the service is horrible. My husband and I sat down and ordered and we watched as everyone who had sat down after us received there food. We finally were able to get our waitress attention because she had been talking to a gentleman for a while and we asked about our food and she said that they were really busy. She took someone else's order and then checked on our food. Now there were only two of us, so she brought out my husbands food immediately after checking on it and then I waited another 5 minutes for mine. I ate a sausage,cheese, and egg sandwich and my husband had a signature breakfast. When we finished, we had to hunt down the waitress again for our ticket. Like I said the food was good, but the service was beyond horrible. We will not be back because of the service. read more

I used to love eating here it was one of my favorite places to go. My fiancé and I have been going at least twice a week for the past 3 months and the food and service was always AMAZING.
