Unfortunately, our party of 10+ had a very disappointing experience after coming here following an awards show performance. We ordered around 9:44 PM and didn't receive our food until nearly 11:00 PM--and when it arrived, much of it was cold. Our server, Randi, was brand new and was assigned our large party by herself. Manager Aaron explained that he wanted her to "get the experience" of handling a large group, but I believe she should have been paired with an experienced server for support and coaching. I want to make it clear that Randi was very apologetic and genuinely felt horrible about our experience. She cared and wanted to do well, so our frustration is not directed toward her. Management should have provided her with better support. We aren't from the area, and unfortunately, this was a very disappointing first impression. read more

Where do I start..... Saturday we celebrate my daughters birthday at the restaurant. I called the day before to ask Manager did I need to make reservations for the guest or was it OK for me to just walked in. I told him we would be there about noon on Saturday. He asked about how many people would be there and I informed him around 16 to 18. He told me that wouldn't be a problem and I didn't need to make any reservations that I could just walk in. Fast forward to Saturday I walked in and told the host ( I don't know if he was management or not) that I spoke with someone the day before, and they had written a note and left it in the office. His response was oh yes, but he didn't leave a name. I've been told the man at the host station that I was that person. He seemed a bit confused and begin speaking with the staff about how the set up was going to go. I waited a few minutes and then he pushed three tables to the middle. I started setting up and parents with their children started walking in. I didn't realize that I had more parents that were going to stay as opposed to dropping. I totally understand parents wanting to stay with their their child at a birthday lunch that was only gonna last two hours. Here's where the problem comes in. My sister and her family decided that they wanted to table by themselves instead of sitting with the kids. The man that was helping us started saying how it would be a problem. My sister informed him that of course they will be paying and tipping, but they just wanted a different table. I've never been a waitress so I'm not sure how tips and everything goes. But he goes on to tell her that if he sits her family in that area that my daughter's party was in that it was somehow messed with the servers tips or tables my sister goes on to tell him that we are paying customers and we will be tipping, but he made a big deal out of it. I see this is going to be a bigger problem than I assumed. I walked over to the man and I for any questions inconvenience, and then he again proceeds to complain about the seating, the servers, etc.. I felt taken aback, because instead of just saying ma'am it's OK he proceeds to vent to me about the situation. By this time I'm completely annoyed on the other hand our waitress did a phenomenal job. I just really would've wished. I would've gotten a man's name that was working the door that day. My question is.... What would've happened if I didn't call ahead and we ALL walked in together. Would the attitude still have been the same?? I think not because I have been out to dinner with parties bigger than the one we had and there was not a problem at the other restaurants. Food and service here are pretty good. There are flavors for everyone, not just 'hot' wings. My favorite is the parmesan garlic, followed closely by the lemon pepper. They've done a good job of expanding the menu over the past few years to not have just wings, but it's so hard not to get those when I come here. Great to come here for watching sports - TVs located all around the room, which helps make sure you do not miss anything. The only reason I gave it a 4 * instead of a 5 * review - the price. Horrible service! Called in an order to the TRUSSVILLE BWW on my way home for pick up. I was immediately put on hold and this was around 3pm on a Tuesday. I arrived and was still on hold. There were maybe 3 or 4 tables in the entire restaurant. It had been around 8 minutes after I called. I walked into the store to see about 6 employees standing around the pick up counter and cutting up like there was nothing to do. I confronted the man at the counter about my hold time and showed him my phone where I was still holding. He lied or deflected and said the store didn't have any calls while pointing at the store phone. Then I asked him if he was the manager and he said yes. Worst service ever! I didn't even get a chance to even order. So I go in, it's not busy, I'm waiting for a host/hostess to come seat me, 5 minutes pass, nobody. I assume the guy up front was a manager, he finally came up to me and said someone will be with me in a moment. Came inside and went to host stand. There were two workers at the take out counter. And no one at the host stand. No one greeted us. I was still standing at the host desk and Christi came and brought menus and other items to the stand. She didn't say hello or anything. She put the menus inside the stand and said "how many?" No hello or anything. So I greeted her with an hello, how are you and gave her the total guest. Then she seated us. Tip to management: The hostess is the first person guest have any kind of contact with. So they should be friendly. That can help guest determine if they are staying or leaving the establishment. No matter how much I wanted BWW chicken, customer service is more important to me. I prayed our waiter wasn't going to be anything like her. God answered my prayer because our waiter was Madi. My waitress did her job well during the time I was there. Was planning on having a beer with my meal, but didn't want to pay too much since I probably be paying more for a beer than my meal. Ended up getting the boneless wings snacks with fries. My boneless wings was ok and the French fries even with the salt, didn't have any taste to them. Some of my wings were breaded with hardly any meat so I'm guessing the chicken were pre-made from the manufacturers. Their rewards QR code's don't ever work making it an extra trip for the wait staff to get rewards. And today they are out of wings on BOGO Tuesday. Needs new ownership/management in the worst way. I'm usually ordering the traditional with a mixture of flats and drums. The last couple of time I went, the drums were huge and kind of tough to bite through, so I went with all flats. I'm usually trying different flavors but I kept it simple this time. I did Parmesan Garlic and Honey Barbecue. My best friend did Wild and Caribbean Jerk. We chose the honey bbq, medium, Asian zing, spicy garlic and mango habanero. The flavors never disappoint, mango habanero is quite sweet but packs tons of heat at the same time. The other flavors are basically what you would expect. As we were leaving we saw that they had two "sauce lab" limited time only sauce offerings, Korean BBQ and Salted Caramel. Korean BBQ was really tasty. The Salted Caramel were the standout. Somehow the salt and caramel work very well with the wings. I stopped dining in because the service was so terrible. Since I live in Trussville, I figure I'll just do take out. I'm convinced restaurants especially this one are more concerned with speed instead of accuracy. I'm not concerned with the price or speed, just consistency. I order the traditional lemon pepper hot (mixed not sprinkled on top), extra crispy and extra wet and I get it EVERY time with hardly any sauce on the wings, lemon pepper sprinkled on top of the wings and not crispy at all. I'm not that customer that complains, but I'm so tired of this location that can't sauce the wings. I figured maybe it's just the cook on the the shift.. Nope...
