Blantant racist waitresses!!!! We were told when we entered the door by the Caucasian waitress that they were about to shut the floor down and we would have to order at the bar, and like 5 minutes later a Caucasian couple comes in and is seated on the floor - that we were refused to be seated. The Caucasian waitress at the door seemingly pushes all the traffic to the bar to the black waitress.We set next to a regular that says this is the norm!!!! Wings are good. They are a little pricey. $13 dollars for 5 wing parts. Service is good for men. As a female waiting for a togo order is exhausting. They prepared everyone order inside even if they came after i placed my order. The bartender stayed or her phone with one leg resting on the beer case. If I could rate just the food, it would be a negative 5. The Twisted Texas melt wasn't a melt. It was a burger with NO seasoning. Barely any cheese. No caramelized onions. Two small pieces of bacon. It was one of the most disappointing burgers I've had in awhile. My curly fries were the highlight of my meal even though they weren't even salted. Just sad. Our waitress was great! This was my first time at Hooters. Came tonight following Michael Scott advise. Overal a nice experience, the girls do what they are paid to do. Probably could wait more than 5 minutes every time they come to ask if we want another beer. My lemonade was good, buddies beers were good. The food on the other hand was really random. I called this location on Tuesday and asked them specifically what time they close on Friday nights. They told me closing was at 1am on Fridays. We get there at 11:15pm Friday night, and we were told hours had just changed. The kitchen was closed, they just announced last call, and they close at midnight. It's very poor service to turn away customers 45 minutes before closing. You should just say you close at 11pm if you want to start locking up at midnight. read more

I will never go back to this location!!!!! Wings were so small. The 15 we got had 2 drums. The rest were flats. Not anywhere close to as good as I have had at other Hooters. We ordered cheese curds but could not respond how they tasted because we never received. And we asked the person that brought to our table. The waitress was horrible!!!!!!!! It took forever for her to come to table. Took forever for drinks. And never came back to our table except when we flagged her down to ask for check. No refills nothing. We called to inquire about our order twice being told by Rachel 1st time-she could answer if our order was ready, 2nd it wasn't ready. We go inside food sitting on counter. We waited to see if service or acknowledgement would happen. I asked to speak with someone and if she was the person answering the phone. It's been a year since I've been to a hooters location. We moved out of state and decided to try one that was, new to us, for the mothers day special. We arrived around 12:15 on a Sunday and they already had several customers dining, but not yet busy. We asked for a booth, but they had closed off the back section of the restaurant for no reason and the 3 Booths up front had guests seated so we were seated at a high top near the bar. Our server was very friendly, she informed us that they changed the fries from big dipper to waffle fries, big bummer. We ordered 3 sets of 10 wings and 3 kids meals. One of the sets of 10 wings was missing 1 so the server talked to the kitchen and got us an additional wing. The wings also weren't labeled when they came out. The server only came back towards the end offering to refill our drinks. To summarize our experience, I would say the food was decent, but there are lots of options on this area so mediocre food and service probably won't entice us to come back. read more

My gorgeous waitress Mya, is kind, attentive and has a smile that's contagious and got more beautiful each time she came to check on me. Hooters was once known as one of the best restaurants when it came to customer service but tonight was not the case at all. Me and a friend of mine decided to come here since we haven't been here in a while and I gotta say that customer service was absolutely terrible. My experience here was not very good at all and I will never come back again our Savannah our waitress was absolutely terrible, and I just thought that she didn't do a good job at all. She barely came back to check to see how we were doing, and I also noticed that the table behind us experienced much better customer service than me, and my friend did. The only reason why this place is getting 4 stars is because my drink was good, the fajitas style quesadillas, and our waitress. Where do I start first. I was hoping the wings were going to be super good because that is what this place is known for is wings. Well when I wings got to us the flavor was good but it seemed like they were over cooked. As we started eating we realized we were short at least 5 shrimp, told the waitress, she looked at them and said... "ok, do he math for me" ( I think that's part of the problem here..the math) she went and got the 5 shrimp, took a minute, then a waitress came out and asked the table she first came to (the one that had been seated after we ordered) if they ordered cheese sticks, they said yes, we figured they were probably ours. When our waitress finally comes out with the cheese sticks we said something to her about the other table getting cheese sticks, she said the kitchen was backed up, I asked how that would explain how they got theirs first AND it didn't explain why the kitchen couldn't count, we had tails lined up to show her we were STILL short 2 shrimp, she asked if we wanted her to bring the two shrimp... we told her no. They had put several clumps of fried batter on the plate and I guess tried to count them as shrimp. All we got for this crappy service was... I'm sorry! She how ever got a $5.75 tip! read more

So it's Hooters, and anyone that's familiar with Hooters knows that it's the girls that get guys in, and the food, girls and sports that keep 'em comin' back. With that said, there's not much more I can say about this location to make it unique to any other locations: it's basically hit or miss regarding the service you'll find at the Trussville location. The girls are generally either reasonably attentive to their customers, or as vapid as you might expect when they're not so much in the mood to work. The food is more consistently good than the service, but even the food service is at the mercy of the waitresses' attentiveness to your order - so don't blame the cooks too much when applicable... Bottom line - I like the food, I like the scenery, and I'm apt to visit the place at least once a month with the caveat that if I get bad vibes coming in the door - e.g., the waitresses don't even notice new customers, LOTS of empty glasses at tables with no food and sour looks on the faces of those seated - I pretty much rule that a not-so-favorable night for wings and head out. I think if you do the same, chances are you'll hit the place on the right days/nights and have a positive experience. Good luck! ;) read more
