Huddle House in Saraland, I would give 0 stars if I could. The food order was wrong, the food was cold, the waitress was slow and there was only about 5 people in there. The floor was dirty, the bathroom was not clean. The price was high, so this was my first and last time, I think I will go to Waffle House or Crackle Barrell from now on. read more

Came in today (11/22/20) for breakfast with the husband and kids. Unlike previous visits, they really knocked it out of the paces this time. Service was great. Our drinks were never empty. Nothing in our order was wrong this time. Everything was delicious. The food arrived pretty quickly. Today, I opted for butter pecan praline pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. Those pancakes were AMAZING. I'm not sure what sauce was drizzled on top of them, but it was delicious. The pancakes themselves were so fluffy and light. I will absolutely order those again next time. That was a good decision. read more

Nope not again! I spent $72.00 plus a 5.00 tip for an online order. After sitting in the parking lot a good 15 plus minutes, I sent my son inside and he was told they forgot about us!!! *No syrup or butter for waffles or pancakes and the pancakes were burnt on the bottoms. *Grits we're so under cooked they were not edible. *Wrong burger, wrong bun, burnt patties and no mayo. *Scrambled eggs were gray and rotten looking when I cut into them. Not to mention were very overcooked - yet somehow the cheese wasn't melted *Hash browns were also burnt on the bottom Expensive lesson learned!!! Sooooo disappointed!!!!! I want to preface this review with saying that the entire experience at HH in Saraland was amazing. You might think that it was running like a well oiled machine run by a team of employees that care about their jobs. The food was perfect! The restaurant was clean. The service was top notch. We had been vending at Art Walk downtown all evening and got to HH about 10:45 pm on a Friday night. There were 2 other tables. We were greeted and seated by Brody (Remember his name please!) We sat and looked at the menu. Brody calmly and promptly took our order and brought us our drinks. I then noticed that he was back on the line cooking. A teenager that can multitask is an impressive sight in this day & age. I have spent 35 years cooking and managing restaurants so I was just observing at first. When he came back and delivered our food, I asked him, Are you here alone? He said he was. I asked if he was the manager and he replied that he was not. I asked where his manager was. He shrugged his shoulders and said probably in bed. This teenager came to work at 3pm after all day at school and seated, waited on customers, cooked all the food, cleared tables and did dishes from 3 pm til close when we left at midnight, and did with a smile on his face with skill that most adults couldn't manage. I offered to help him bus tables even though I had been working for over 12 hours but he declined. I will definitely be calling the corporate office on Monday. His manager doesn't deserve her job, but Brody does. His district manager needs to step in and fix the problem. I have grown up in restaurants and worked in them for a very long time. I have never seen someone handle the situation he did. He was well tipped for his efforts. So if you come to this restaurant, ask for Brody.... He can guarantee an amazing experience all by himself. read more

Well, not what I expected. Took my mother and my wife there for Mother's Day lunch and it was a bit underwhelming. They were low on staff, so the waitresses had to take orders and do the dishes. We waited over 40 minutes for our food and it was mediocre at best. For the price, we expected a lot better food and service. Our waitress was nice, but she didn't refill our glasses until we were about to leave. Probably won't be back, at least to the one in Alabama. read more

Food is great. Service is not so great. Facilities are not very clean. This location was SUPER nice when it first opened in town. The facilities were super clean and the service was great. I'm not sure if COVID got them off their game but they definitely need to clean more and train their wait staff better. read more

It was ok. The pancakes were raw in the middle, which was the biggest issue. The eggs were overdone and the sausage dry. It wasn't that anything was inedible, it was just ok. On the bright side, the wait staff was super friendly and attentive. Everything was super clean inside and the remodeling from the old Wendy's looks good. The service of this place is awful. The servers screamed at each other non stop. The staff doesn't work well together. One of the servers yelled "momma" in the middle of a payment. This restaurant is very unprofessional. They don't have a register to break a 100 dollar bill, i fear that they won't give us the correct amount of money back. Our server Sophie broke the 100 dollar bill out of her "mommas" tips. She didn't give the correct change back and claimed they didn't have change. Not sure where to start.. the service is awful. The servers seem to have never had any prior experience in the service industry. Forgetting to put in simple orders, taking 10 minutes just to go to 2 tables before coming to yours. Four of us sat for 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. Then another 25 waiting on the food just for it to be wrong.
