It was busy but we were greeted and a server told us she was clearing a table for us almost immediately! She returned to us after just a couple mins and said she had a table for us just around the corner. There were two clean tables so we slid into a booth because we have a 7 month old in a car seat. After a few mins, the same server greeted us with menus, she looked as us confused and then turned around to look at the other clean table-I guess we picked the wrong one. She took our drink order, I ordered orange juice, he ordered coffee. My orange juice was warm so when we ordered food, I asked for a coffee instead. She informed me she'd been told from a few people that the orange juice was warm. She took our order and we didn't see her again for over 30mins. We didn't have any silverware, so he was unable to stir the sugar into his coffee, I only had hot orange juice to drink. We couldn't get our servers attention no matter how hard we tried, she was just chatting with other servers, offering them some of her candy corn she was eating. We watched as the other servers stayed busy, refilling everyone's coffees. I eventually stopped one and asked them to make me a coffee. I felt so bad because she wasn't serving us, but I was thirsty and his coffee was cold now. The other server was kind, brought us both fresh coffee, sugar, creamer and stir sticks. Our food finally came out, but it wasn't right. We were given regular waffles when we had ordered strawberry and I had fruit instead of hash browns-no big deal. When she brought the waffles back with the strawberries on top, the strawberry sauce was ice cold, like they poured it from the fridge on the cold waffle. I was definitely off putting, but I tried to ignore it because I really felt like an inconvenience and didn't want to bother. I had scrambled eggs, they were cold, the hash browns were hot because they came late. When the food arrived, we still had no silverware so it was just sitting in front of us getting cold, we had already been there an hour at this point, we were very hungry. It was just a terrible experience. Our server never acknowledged that we had gotten coffee from someone else, never offered us refills of coffee, we always had to ask someone else. I sat the warm orange juice, cold coffee, trash and dirty dish at the end of the table so she could take it when she checked on us, she never did. We ate our cold meals with the trash in front of us. We very much were made to feel like an inconvenience to her from the very beginning. Also, when we were first getting settled, I scooted my 7 month old daughter into the booth, she was in her car seat, I was standing at the end of the table getting her things situated, when a man swept in with his dog, who he put up to my child's face and let the dog smell my baby. This was NOT a service animal, I have no clue why this dog was allowed in a public restaurant in the first place-it has to be a health code violation to allow a small, scrappy dog to be sitting in a restaurant booth. The man clearly does this a lot, he's obviously a regular. I have served in restaurants for 6 years, never have I experienced anything like this place. I will not be returning. read more

Stacy put our order in and the cook made a mistake on my eggs and pancake then he wanted to tell at her about it for 10 minutes. Hearing him disrespect her when it was his fault upset me because I just wanted my food ask to speak to the manager and she NEVER Came to the table TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Sherri let him speak to me disrespectful because I got aggravated and went to the counter and told him he made a mistake and just correct it for I can get my food and he proceeded to raise his voice and approach me at the counter instead of fixing my food. The floor was full and had to listen to him say he's been there a long time and can do what he wants to. I visited this Huddle House on a snowy weekday morning. It wasn't very busy at all. I was able to sit wherever I want and was greeted when I entered. The server came to my table right away and took my drink order. She came back quickly with my steaming coffee and a glass of water. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with bacon. My food came out quickly and was hot. It was cooked perfectly, nothing burnt or undercooked. I had a pleasant experience and will be back. My wife MaryAnne & I love coming to the Radcliff HH. It's like we have our OWN PERSONAL SERVER, KELSEY. She is EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, Friendly & most of all PROFESSIONAL. As soon as we walk in the door Kelsey greets us with her beautiful smile, coffee, OJ & water. She knows what our food preferences are & jus writes them & waits till we give her the signal to get them cooked. I've very rarely seen a server so knowledgeable as Kelsey. I enjoyed coming here for decent breakfast dishes, but their crew has changed over the past 6+ months and it shows. Three weeks ago, I was here with my SO. She ordered a loaded biscuit platter and I ordered the philly cheesesteak omelette. Everything was fine food wise, but the waitress was clumsy and dumped my soda refill right in my lap. I played it off cool since we're human and things happen, but no real sort of compensation or apologies or anything of the sort was offered, and I felt like it was just brushed under the rug and ignored. Today we came back for breakfast items again. The SO ordered French toast and I got the southern pecan pancakes. While just the French toast came out quick like, the rest took a moment to get to us. Not because it was busy or anything, but because the very same waitress from earlier fumbled my pancake plate. So both of our bacon and eggs came out with my pancakes. Eggs, scrambled, were runny and the bacon was cold. The pecan pancakes were less exciting than normal buttermilk pancakes, maybe it could have been because the second attempt was rushed but it's not likely. I believe I will be pulling this location out of my rotation of local stops. A shame, I could usually catch a decent omelette here. read more

It took over an hour to get our food and then it was served almost warm and I had to send my eggs back as they were undercooked. Our waitress Tasha had a bit of an attitude too. To be honest I usually don't have high hope for these types of dining. Surprisedly the food and service was great. We came for a late brunch, it's seat yourself service. There was one recently wiped down table, naturally we took that one. Menus are available on the table by the condiments. Our server took our drink order 2 waters one with lemon and one coffee. They have breakfast thru dinner on their menus, so it took a a minute to decide when she came back with our beverages. She didn't rush us, nor were they busy for a staff of 3. Once our server came back my boyfriend ordered the MVP breakfast platter and I got the bacon smothered biscuit plate. She offered to provides us with silverware (which she already did when she took our drink order) and asked if anything else was needed. About 10 minutes later our food came out hot and ready. Syrup was provided for my boyfriend's waffle and hot sauce per his request. My bacon biscuit was good, biscuit a bit too buttery for my liking but the gray was hot and bacon was crispy and sometimes that's all I need. Overall our food was decent and hot and service was great. The cleanliness of the restaurant is what got me and got them 3 Stars. Literally noticed once I walked in and noticed more when I sat down. Floor looks like it hasn't been swept in awhile and a few tables and seats weren't completely wiped down. This location has to be the worst Huddle House hands down. Took my spouse out for breakfast today. He had been there before and really liked it. This time, not so much. Spouse had 2 egg special, and I just had coffee. Coffee was never refilled. We sat at the counter in front of the washing station. The manager, our server, the other server, and the cook were all right there and never checked back nor refilled any beverages. When we got up to pay our tab, we waited over 10 minutes to pay. Great location, too bad the service was horrible and the place was as dirty as a rest area toilet. The employees talked about how disfunctional the management and owners are the whole time I was sitting in the place. One of the managers breezed in and breezed out. Never checked to see how disgustingly dirty the food prep and grill areas were. I ordered a golden waffle and side of bacon, and well done hash browns. The waitress said it would be three minutes to make the waffle. This is for my 4th. visit near the end of October. Classic modern diner with an open menu for almost whatever you want, any time. I like the fact you can have waffles with your country fried steak. Burgers which were hot and tasty with fries or sweet potato fries were delish. This place gets busy so get in early or late. I'm not sure when this store opened? but it is good to see more places opening up closer to Radcliff. The economy must be doing well. read more

Visited the Huddle House in Radcliff KY...Wendy was our server, great service she provided especially since she was the only server during the time frame we were there. However, there was too much butter on the waffles and the food was cold. The butter wouldn't even melt nor would the cheese in the grits melt. The a/c seemed to be on so we ate with jackets on (end of Dec). But over all everything was good, I'd recommend and would eat here again. read more

I've seen this place a million times and never stopped by. I decided to try it one night and...well, that was a mistake. It was about 2.30 in the morning, and I walked in and the waitress said, "Find a seat where you can." I didn't understand at first, and then I looked around the restaurant. About 70% of the tables had dishes on them...I should have have realized then it was a mistake. I ordered water and one of the only sampler dishes that didn't have meat in it, as well as a side salad. My water came out pink, no joke. The water in Radcliff is notoriously bad-tasting, but it's at least not pink at my house. I never got a refill on it, but I didn't want one, either. There were only two people working, but only two other people in the restaurant at the time. The order took forever to come out, but I'm not sure why because they deep-fried everything. No big surprise, but it wasn't even tasty. There were fries, battered pickles, cheese sticks, and jalapeno poppers. She didn't bring out the salad for about 15 minutes and I wasn't sure I was going to get it at all, but it finally arrived. My bowl of lettuce, carrots, and radicchio was the best thing this place had to offer and it was only alright. Even after waiting over an hour, none of the previous tables had been cleared. Not sure what the staff had been doing all that time. This is the worst place in the area, I'd never go back. read more

Huddle house is good as a whole. This place desperately needs to be managed better. Register apparently is locked after a certain hour, staff did not inform any customers so that cash given , but customers can't receive any change. Ordered a steak omelette, to my surprise NO steaks to put in it. Not to mention the place wasn't the cleanest. 3rd shift there 3 customers and things are not in the least clean. If you use your hands to pull bacon from the fridge "wash them after". With eggs and pork don't mess around. The only reason I ate my food is that it was platted by a different worker. Huddle house is one of my go to breakfast place when I don't feel like cooking. Usually every huddle house I have been to no matter how packed they are if I have received fast friendly service.
