Loved coming here! Love the atmosphere! The food is great! I love the selection! Customer service was awesome, too! Food came out hot and I enjoyed it! Love the location! Parking is ample!

Didnt wait much on a Sunday afternoon for 9 ppl however we had to split into 2 booths. Keep in mind they dont have big group seating. It was fine for us we were able to still interact. Anyway we always loved coming here when we live in fairfield years ago. Love the bayou ambience. They also follow up the theme with the food! Everything we ordered was cooked well and tasty! The steak i ordered for breakfast was thin but they still got the right temp which is not always the case with other breakfast places. The peach tea was sooo good and also alot! Glad they had to go cups! Fried green tomatoes always a good appetizer. Wish the beignets were a bit more airy, theyre more demse and cakey. 10/10 recommended

I come for the swamp tea, every time I visit, it is my favorite thing and I will drink three in one sitting. The server, she understood what we came for, we ordered food and took two bites and knew we needed boxes. She was super funning and just overall a good time. The interior is "bayou" themed but in a fun way. Bring your family enjoy some comforting food and please please get a swamp tea!

Well! This place hit the mark! We came here after an appointment, I am not an egg person and there is a lot of eggs here... but... I asked about biscuits and gravy and was told yes it was delicious... The Joes scramble is scrambled eggs biscuits gravy and potato's on the side... your choice of sausage or chicken fried steak. I opted for the scramble hold the eggs with sausage... it was amazing super delicious! The biscuits were very good, soft not overly dry... the gravy was really good on its own, and with the sausage and biscuits. The potatoes were on point! All in all very happy with it all! The server was very attentive. She was excellent! And the place was clean.. my only gripe was the mat on the way in and out, we tripped on it both directions.

Came here for Saturday lunch after doing some photography during the morning. It was pretty busy but we're seated right away. Kind of a noisy atmosphere but nothing too overwhelming. All the staff are friendly within this laid back atmosphere. The Stacked Chicken and Waffles was delicious with compliments of both sweet and savory. I'm usually more of a hash browns person compared to country potatoes, but these were on point! The pancakes were a little dense but had good flavor. This place always has good food using fresh ingredients and never disappoint.

Huckleberry never lets me down. Always fast friendly service and everything I've ever ordered was yummy. They are always busy but still get you seated and served efficiently.

01.09.2026. Last meal before wisdom teeth removal. Chicken and waffles. beignets. Pretty yummy. Dunno if it's cause I was hungry. The chicken had nice crunch and was savory with the aiolis and sauce. It felt a little weird with the syrup but still good. The beignets sat on three kinds of jam/compote. I really liked the apple one but doesn't compare to beignets in new orleans. Still light airy and fluffy tho so an appropriate substitute for me. I really wished they had biscuits and gravy as a side cause those looked soooo good.

Great spot for an ample breakfast, brunch, or lunch in Fairfield, CA. Portions are generous; pricing represents a great value; variety of offerings is diverse; served with a Cajun twist

Huckleberries has always been a favorite breakfast restaurant of my family. Their service has always been top tier and inviting. The theme throughout the restaurant is super cute and my kids love it! If you haven't tried the swamp juice, you'll have to give it a try! It's one of their best drinks on the menu and has little berries on the bottom. They also have a virgin Bloody Mary as a specialty drink but I favor the swamp juice over it, plus you can ask for a to go cup and they'll give you a refill! My family loves the fried okra and the dipping sauces that they provide. It's perfectly crisp and never soggy - even after taking it home. The beignets are pretty good. I prefer softer and airy bread but these are pretty good to hit the craving. Their skillets are what I usually lean towards but I wanted to try something different and ordered the bowl of chili. It was pretty good! The depth of flavor was there and the heat wasn't too spicy. We will definitely be back!

Fun vibes and great food. Cajun style eatery with an amazing breakfast spread and hearty lunch options. The Cajun Benedict is tops with smoked andouille sausage and hearty potatoes. The banana French toast platter was great with toasted pecans, banana slices and powdered sugar. The fired green tomato's are crispy and taste awesome with a side of ranch dressing. I will ask for extra crispy bacon next time but they were fine. 30min wait in a a Saturday.

Went here on a whim and was happy I did! Very cute atmosphere inside and my party of 5 was seated quickly. The food was excellent (one of the best chicken fried steaks I've had in years). I like that a paper towel roll is at every table along with ketchup, salt and pepper and various jelly packets. Great brunch spot!

The menu is crazy big they have a lot to offer. Nothing is sugar free I would love some sugar free lemonade. The plates are big here enough to share and that's what we did. The garden skillet. Mushrooms red potatoes spinach very tasty we got homemade biscuits and gravy seasoned well not salty nice and hot.

A very solid restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I've been here many times and I've never been disappointed by the food or the service.

Ask the Community - Huckleberry's

Do they offer gluten-free pancakes or gluten-free waffles or GF French toast?

Are you open for inside dining?

Are they seating tables 6ft apart also what protocols are they taking?

I believe they were set to open May 16th. As of now they remain open only for takeout, just passed by yesterday!

Do they serve mimosas?

The menu says they do

Do they allow dogs in their outdoor area?

Yes I believe they do. They did with the last ownership. Some regulars always used to bring their dogs. You just gotta tell them or maybe call ahead of time so they can set it up back there for ya (because no one ever sits outside)

Is this place pet friendly in their outdoor seating?

No

Does this restaurant have a separate room for groups?

Nope... But there is an outside area towards the back you might be able to use...

Second, the food was insane. Given the reasonable prices we expected the dishes to be small, but they were substantial. I got the Warao pizza (added balsamic) with a kinder milkshake, my husband got the pastrami sandwich with a vanilla milkshake, our daughter got a cheese pizza and strawberry milkshake, and we got a pastellito to try. My husband had to help me with my pizza and we couldn't even try the pastellito because we were stuffed (having it for my snack tonight). And everything tasted amazing - I loved the combination of the Warao, and kinder milkshake with Nutella and kinder pieces, need I say more? And husband eats a looot of pastrami sandwiches and he was impressed with theirs. Third, we loved the vibe. It was a casual place with a modern aesthetic. 10/10 would come back again.

After that, the service was friendly and quick. The restaurant wasn't as clean as I would like it. The case where the baked items are kept in the front appears to be sticky and dirty. The communal condiment containers definitely needed to be wiped down. The tables needed to be wiped down as well. There were dirty dishes near the sugar area. Everything need a light cleaning. My Hubsand ordered the 1/2 Warao salad, which was a very small portion. The salad presentation was pretty with light dressing. I ordered the arepa reina pepada, which was not good. The corn cake was just hard on the outside. It tasted like it was stale as if it had been warmed up in the microwave. The filling was overly salty.

In my opinion, the restaurant could use some remodeling and general updates. The structure feels a little dated, and there are small details that stand out if you're paying attention. The mimosa flights are what seem to draw a big crowd. They're cute and very aesthetic, which I think is part of the appeal. Some of them can be on the sweeter side, so if you enjoy fruity, sweet drinks, you'll probably love them. As for the food, it just hasn't been my favorite. I've tried several items over multiple visits because friends enjoy going there. The chicken and waffles were okay, nothing special. The omelet was decent but not memorable. I tried the chilaquiles once and wouldn't order them again. They were very heavy on the sauce for my taste. I also found some items like the hash browns a bit too greasy, the fries are three large wedges, not my favorite. On the positive side, most of the servers I've had have been friendly and attentive, and the bathrooms have always been clean, which I appreciate. Overall, Maple Bar Cafe may be a great fit if you love sweet brunch options and fun mimosa flights. It just isn't my personal go-to spot, but I can see why others enjoy it.

Seeing that it was raining and I didn't want to order for my usual spots I decided to give this place a try. I got the Mushroom, Bacon and Brie omelet which sounded stellar! I did not seat inside but it was door dashed to me. The way they packed it was very nice and it came in nice containers, it also looked great. I also like that it gave me an option to have it with either toast or muffin which I found unique. Unfortunately, though the presentation was nice, the omelet was extremely bland. The egg was also overcooked and rubbery, the potatoes were also tasteless. The muffin however was very good, carrot and raisin, delicious. My boyfriend got the chipotle breakfast burrito (which I forgot to take a picture of), he said it was okay, I tasted it and also thought it was fine. Overall, not my cup of tea, but I do see some potential here. I think with minor tweaks this could be a great spot but I may give it awhile before returning (hopefully not another 10 years).

There's a counter area where you can order coffee, pastries, breakfast items, or food to-go, while the left side has a hostess stand if you'd prefer full table service inside or on the patio. The brunch menu was a bit limited, and I ended up ordering the croissant sandwich. The croissant itself was soft and fresh, but overall the sandwich left me wanting a little more flavor. It was on the smaller side, didn't have much bacon, and even with the preserved tomato aioli it felt a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes also weren't really my favorite. They were small whole potatoes with the skins on and heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper. Personally, I would've liked another side option such as fresh fruit. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. For two croissant sandwiches, two iced teas, and a side of fries, the total came to around $70 with tip, which felt a little pricey for the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful. It looks like they host live music and events in the outdoor quad area, and I noticed they also offer wood-fired pizza after 11 AM, which honestly sounds worth coming back to try. Overall, I have mixed feelings as the atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations for me personally.
