Blood orange mimosa
Carmen P.

This spot is so delicious! I enjoyed my time here for brunch from the good music to the delicious food down to the good customer service. If you come here mimosas are a must! Best chicken and waffles I've had in a minute!Live Dj with music! And there is a variety of flavors of food and mimosas on the menu to choose from. Love Loved Love this place!!Definitely coming back again!

Was looking for a brunch spot to take the family and found this spot. No parking lot, but there is street parking. They have lots of seating and there was a DJ! We went on a Saturday, so I'm not sure how often they have a DJ in there. There was no wait time when we stopped by around 10am. Service was okay, they didn't refill our waters. Food was good.

Overall I would recommend this place. I have been there several times and at different times. The weekends are busy so be prepared to wait especially with a large party. They do not take reservations. The food and customer is service is good. All the servers are pretty laid back but kind. The restaurant always has great music playing...usually a R&B/Pop playlist..so the vibes are vibin! Honestly I love the Avocado Toast! I always add a fried egg but that's extra. The chicken fried steak was flavorful and the French toast is really good! The chicken and waffles was okay. The waffle is good but the chicken I expected more from them. The chicken is just a strip and not very flavorful. I think they could Make adjustments and make it better because everything else I've had there is really good. The should really call this place the Mimosa Bar because they have sooo many flavors too choose from. They also have a group friendly option. I deducted a star due to not being able to make a reservation for a group and when I have gone at different times they didn't have a drink that was on the menu.

Fruity Pebbles Waffle

This place was on my instagram for awhile so I decided to give it a try. The service was really good, we sat at the bar area and our server was the owner. He was very nice and I can tell he was passionate about the food he makes and where he comes from. The interior was cool as well, no complaints and they keep the area clean. Fruity Pebble Waffle: 8/10, nice presentation, tastes exactly how we expected and the sausage and eggs were cooked nicely. Cinnamon Roll Pancakes: 8/10, if you love cinnamon rolls you'll really like these. Honestly, I'd sooner come back with more people as the portions are big.. I food coma'd when I got home so I'd likely come after a big hike as a treat but it's definitely an awesome spot for those who love brunch dates. Next time i'll have to try a mimosa ^_^

Fun and light ambiance with great food and drinks! It was a delightful time at brunch & everyone loved their food. We also had a Cinnamon roll French Toast to share for the table which was delicious. The service was great with attentive, and helpful server. I am excited to return and hoping to try a mimosa flight at my next visit!

Passion Fruit Mimosa

Super cute breakfast spot located in downtown Suisun. This is was my first time because there is usually a long wait, but today I was seated right away even though there was a nice crowd. I decided on the Passion Fruit mimosa and the Carne Asada and eggs, both of which were really good! The mimosa was not too sweet and the fresh fruit topping was a nice addition. The carne asada was cooked to perfection and served with a hot link, eggs, and avocado - a perfect match! JD was a great host, very attentive and provided good recommendations. Excited to come back to try other items on the menu.

The restaurant is modern and cute. They are quite busy overall so be prepared to wait atleast a half hour when the place is packed. I like that they have options for non pork eaters, chicken apple sausage and turkey sausage. Their food is good no complaints. Only suggestion I have would be maybe upgrade your coffee options to serve lattes or matcha, more juices that aren't fountain. I ordered a waffle and asked for a chocolate drizzle and they drenched the waffle in the chocolate sauce and the waffle became soggy. I couldn't really enjoy it or taste the regular syrup since the chocolate was over done but I'm sure a chocolate lover would have been happy about it. My friend got the red velvet waffle which was a 10/10.

Celebrating my nieces 21st birthday at the bar!
Brandy T.

My niece picked this place for her 21st birthday. Very cool vibe. Music was mostly R&B but not too loud. We sat at the bar because there was still 30 minute wait for a table. The bar tender, JC, informed us that he was closing out another table and would be right with us. He continued to check in but not be intrusive. The food: The presentation of my waffle was beautiful. The bacon was thick and cooked well. It arrived without butter but when they brought it is was already room temp and spreadable. The Mister said his omelet was good but a bit cold. (He gave it an 8 out of 10)I thought his potatoes were delicious. Now for the main event: The mimosas. My niece got a flight with cotton candy, strawberry, dragon fruit and peach. The strawberry and peach were good. Please note that the flavors are created by Torani style syrups. The only juices they have are cranberry, orange, apple and pineapple. If I did it again I would ask for less flavor pumps. Parking was easy to acquire. Overall it was a great experience and I will come again and recommend that others do.

Mexican French Toast
Jessica E.

My husband and I are here for breakfast on a Saturday. I would recommend coming here early as the wait times can increase later in the morning. I had the Mexican French Toast, which was great, but the churro was stale. Service was fast. My hubby had the Meat Lovers Skillet which was filling (not pictured).

Fried eggs, bacon, regular waffle, all very good, waffles are fresh and fluffy

What a great place! Friendly crew here, our server gave us great suggestions in the Many choices of waffles! Sweet waffles, omelets, savory dishes. Juice and coffee, plus many other stronger drinks - mimosas and more. Pleasant relaxing time. Great food. Then we walk out and there is a biker rally blasting down the street- a few hundred bikes- wow- lots of noise!

Conchita French toast and Florentine bene
Miranda D.

Not surprised that this joint was busy on a Sunday afternoon! Perfect place for brunch and boozy drinks with friends and family. Service was quick and efficient! Decided to sit at the bar to avoid the wait for table service. Bartenders and all employees were very professional, helpful, and super quick on their feet! I can tell they got a super strong army of employees at this restaurant. Everyone was great! On to the food -- amazzzzing. I was intrigued by their conchita French toast because I never heard anything like it. Imagine the sweetness of a concha on a French toast.. that's exactly how it tasted like. For any of the folks with a sweet tooth, this dish is for you! My partner ordered their Florentine Benedict and was satisfied with both the portion and the taste. You can never go wrong with a morning bene :)

First the three of us got sat in the middle of the restaurant, which was very uncomfortable. The service was non existent. She took our order then didn't come back until she gave us our check. The food was bland and expensive. In specific the breakfast burrito. Would not come back.

Chilaquiles and breakfast burrito
Jennifer U.

Great little place for brunch. Lots of tsble seating options including booths. Menu with lots of different fun foodoptions as well as your regular brunch staples. It was Cinco de Mayo so decided on chilaquiles while my friend got the breakfast burrito which she was said was very filling. Staff was very friendly and checked on us to make sure if we needed anything

Ask the Community - The Maple Bar Cafe

Do you have gluten free options? Waffles?

Are reservations required?

No reservations and they don't even have a phone number (I asked and tried for to go orders). It's all first come first serve

I see a patio...Are they dog friendly?

There is no outside seating on the patio. It may look like there's one, but there isn't. It's only indoor seating, and I did not see anybody with any dogs.

Can you go there and order to go?

Yes. I saw people picking up to-go orders when I was there.

Why there's no phone # to call , do I need reservation ? Thnx

They don't take reservations, but they will put you down when you get there and text you when your table is ready.

Super friendly, checked on us at the right times, and just brought a really great vibe to the table. For a Saturday morning, the wait was totally reasonable. The menu alone guarantees we're coming back. Too many things we still want to try. We ordered the Hunter's Skillet with pork adobo and it was legit. Not just seasoned on the surface, the flavor carried through every bite. Swapped toast for biscuits and gravy and that was the right call. Thick biscuits and a peppery white gravy I would absolutely take home and eat again. I went with the Mexican French Toast made with conchas, topped with mango tres leches sauce and fresh strawberries. It was next level. Amaze. Amaze. Amaze.

Lilly was my server, and she truly has a natural gift for hospitality. She consistently greets guests with a warm smile and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. It's that level of care that makes every visit such a great experience. Thank you, Lilly, for your kindness and dedication. It never goes unnoticed.

There were 3 young men, 1 greeted us, the others were just chilling on their phones. It is what it is, they weren't super busy, but when the food dropped off there was no "Enjoy" or even a "Here you go".. just came and sat the food to the table. Then they all kind of stared? No one said "How's the food?" Or "can I get you anything?" They didn't even smile.. I just got a feeling they wanted us to hurry up and leave.. Again, this is my first time, but to sum it all up the service was a bit awkward. Please and thank you go a long way ^_^ Ambiance - 7/10 Nice, clean.. but when we walked in they were playing some good music. But then they turned it off or all the way down so we sat in silence.. again, awkward. Food - 8/10 really nothing to complain about, it was a bacon egg and cheese croissant.. however for the price, I could just easily make it at home. But the cold brew.. it was a 10/10, loved it. Overall.. I felt like we were imposing on them, but I would come back and get to go, just wouldn't eat inside because we felt a bit uncomfortable. The atmosphere was not there but the shop has potential with minor tweaking. Good food though, so you do you.

I stopped by 1933 Kitchen & Bar for lunch because I saw they had a chicken Philly on the menu,…read morewhich can be surprisingly hard to find since most places only offer the traditional beef version. I ordered the chicken Philly and specifically asked for no mayo, which was also noted on my receipt. I also asked for jalapeños because the menu listed "hot and sweet peppers," but the server said those were more like bell peppers. The fresh jalapeños ended up being an extra $1.50. Unfortunately, the sandwich arrived with mayo on both sides of the bread. I was already very hungry and getting a headache, so instead of sending it back and waiting again, I tried scraping most of it off. Even after that, the sandwich was still very heavy. There was also a lot of melted cheese that tasted closer to an American or Cheez-Whiz style cheese rather than something milder like provolone or Swiss, which made the sandwich very wet and overly rich. I ended up eating less than half of the sandwich before giving up on it. The garlic fries were decent, though they were very thin shoestring fries and the portion looked larger than it actually was because they were spread out across the tray. The pickle on the side was very soft and soggy and had an unusual mix of dill and sweet flavors, so I only took one bite. To the server's credit, when she saw that I wasn't taking the sandwich to go and mentioned the mayo issue, she gave me 20% off the bill, which I appreciated. However, since more than half of the sandwich went uneaten due to the mistake, a larger adjustment might have felt more appropriate. Overall, the experience was pretty average ("meh"), and while the staff was polite, the food itself didn't live up to expectations. I probably wouldn't return on my own.
