We just landed in Boston and we need to take the train, but we are starving from our flights. We found The Hub, what a great food experience. Everything from a grilled cheese stall, pizza, Mexican, ramen, chicken, Irish specialties, pastas, Mikes Bakery and much more. Did I mention it has a bar! They carry Down East Cider, super tasty! My wife had tacos and I opted for pizza. We both got back to our table at the same time, super quick. The area itself is clean and organized, really nice! They say hunger is the best spice and I disagree. I think convenience is the best spice. Would this place exist if it weren't on top of a train station, below a movie theater and next to an arena? No, because it's bad. This has all the prices of going to a concert with all the taste of...well, also going to a concert. I guess what I'm saying is it's exactly what you expect. The fact that there's a Mike's Pastry in house should tell you everything you need to know. I'm giving it two stars because the service is usually pretty nice, even though I'm sure they put up with a lot through the day. There are standing outlets in the back as well to charge your devices. Coffee shops and a myriad of restaurants to choose from for a quick bite. A really good food hall right by TD Garden, it's a perfect stop before a concert or game. We stopped by for the Maggie Rogers concert and got to try a few different places. The ramen was a standout. The noodles were outstanding and the broth was rich without being too salty. Only downside is that they were behind by about 30 minutes. Still, it was great ramen. The roast beef sandwich was fine. Not bad, but not as good you want it to be. Surprisingly the Sullivan's chicken fingers and fries were a great find. Everything came out piping hot and the fries were that perfect crinkle cut. We're not going to mistake this for gourmet food but sometimes you want a good fingers and fries. This fit the bill. And we couldn't miss Mike's Pastry's for some cannolis. It's just what you get on Hanover St. Big and sweet, I have a soft spot for them. Oh and there was a DJ spinning some fun tunes. Downsides to this place are a real lack of seating so get there early before a concert and service as I said can be up or down. But overall, a really solid food hall. read more

This one's for my Gluten Free friends. Before I start, this is a food hall with a good variety of selections to eat: Asian, Italian, Indian, Irish, Mexican,.. to name a few. I walked around the food hall before making my lunch section. Came across Mike's Pastry in the back and they have Pistachio Macaroons (but that's pretty much it for us gluten free folks.) My choice ended up being Naco Taco. Their menu states they are Gluten Free and Nut Free, wooohoo! I ordered two tacos: pollo (chicken) & res con mole verde (beef) plus a side of chips and guacamole. Let me tell you, they say that their corn tortillas are ground and pressed in house, are gluten-free and vegan and they are fresh! So good! Portions are decently sized. There is a good selection of places to sit throughout the hall & at the time I went did not feel overly crowded. Not overtly noisy. And as a last bit, I realized the Panini spot offers a gluten free bread option, if you're interested. read more

I f heavily with most of the spots here. The pasta bar is my current obsession and has been for a hot minute. The bars are pretty good too as is naco taco. The bathroom code changes maybe daily but definitely weekly since I've always written it down in my notes app when they give me it and then get locked out the next day. Talk about a convenient location. This happened to be next to our train station. Admittedly I hadn't noticed the night before that this was within walking distance from our hotel, too, and wow, there is so much going on at Hub Hall. So, first thing's first - this appears to next to some shops, maybe a mall, and a concert venue. Moreover, the hall itself has a load of eateries, including bars and even a Mike's Pastry that takes cards. Now if you know the original Mike's, you know that they're cash only and that the line is ridiculous, so this was a serendipitous find. Seriously speaking, we had some drinks and sweets there. My only regret is I didn't have enough stomach to go to their restaurant Momosan, a restaurant whose version in Miami I just adore. read more

Rude, very unprofessional bartender at Banners Bar. Took my son to get sushi and pizza. Bought a glass of rose wine at banners and sat down in the front of hub hall to dine. Asked the bartender at the front bar for a cup of water - she said no, I would have to buy a bottle at cafe Nero. WOW. I walked back to the back bar where I purchased my wine and asked for water- was kindly provided with a cup of water. We live in the neighborhood. Very poor professionalism. read more

This is a cool food hall right outside of TD Garden. I always try to stop by here before going to a Celtics game. The prices are slightly higher than other areas but that is to be expected. There are usually large crowds before an event in TD Garden. You can usually see the large crowds wearing green on game day. The food is average and overpriced. The main thing I loved here were the pregame vibes. I picked up pizza, Greek food at Greco, and dessert at Mike's Pastry. You are mostly going to stop by here if you are catching a game at TD Garden or running to North Station to catch a train. read more

The Cini linguine Pasta Bar inside Hub Hall is excellent. Got linguine with tomato sauce and ground beef and added meatballs. Very very tasty. The cost was about $17 for the cup of linguine that you see two meatballs. Little difficult, eat it out of the paper bowl cup. Very enjoyable. Small bar with some stools to eat there or other chairs available in the actual hub hall. read more

This is another new kind of 'food court' in the city. They bring the concept of a mall food court to an upscale building. It's in a great location downtown Boston close to many businesses, so a great place to go with coworkers for lunch. Everyone can order what they want to from a selection of restaurants then stil sit together in a central location. There are about 18 different options here. Greco is here, which is the best, authentic Greek fast food restaurant in the city! There is also a sit down restaurant, perfect for sit down group luches or meetings. Very clean and new (Summer 2024). I do find that these city food courts are overpriced, but so are many lunch places in the city. I find these places to be a little more, perhaps for the overhead? Anyway, check it out.. especially if you are looking for a spot to go for lunch with your work crew an have a place to sit together - outside of the heat or the freezing cold. read more

The Draft - Girl working on 3/01/2025 around 1:30PM. I had a very disappointing experience at the Draft bar. I sat down to eat my lunch since I noticed no one was working at the bar, so I assumed it wouldn't be an issue. In the middle of my meal, an employee came over, handed me a menu, and I let her know that I wasn't drinking. Instead of a polite response, she immediately told me, "Well, you can't eat here." I explained that when I sat down, I didn't see anyone around, so I thought it was okay. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she responded with a loud and rude attitude, saying, "Well, I was in the bathroom, and these seats are for customers only." When I calmly told her there was no need for the attitude, she continued being disrespectful. The bar area had plenty of open seats, so my finishing my meal wouldn't have affected anyone. However, I chose to leave rather than deal with unnecessary hostility. The staff should improve their communication and professionalism. If they have strict seating policies, they should at least put up clear signs stating, "Seating for customers only." I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values good service. read more

This area was new since the last time I visited TD Garden. It's built like a food court with 20 options, all of which are packed to gather in a small area. There is some seating, but not a whole lot. Where they excel is the number of options for both food and drink that are available. I only tried one of the bars, but some of the good smelled good. It seems to be a go-to spot for locals after work, most likely because its convenient and you are not waiting long to get your food. read more

Hub hall has SO many options - I can't wait to get through them all! I decided to stop by during my lunch break, and the place was packed! A lot of the food options are on the more expensive side compared to other places in the area, but the convenience made Hub Hall worth it. I decided to get a pork gyro at Greco - I highly recommend using the Greco app, since there is a $3 discount if it's your first time and waiting in line just isn't enjoyable. The pork gyro was delicious and incredibly flavorful - I do think ~$10.50 is a bit expensive for what it is, but I thought it was worth it with the discount. I also really enjoyed their Greco fries (the feta cheese is so delicious on top). I found their zucchini chips interesting - I wasn't the biggest fan, but I did enjoy the tanginess of the zucchini and the accompanying sauce. Overall, I think Greco is one of the cheaper options at Hub Hall. With the discount, I think it's the most bang for your buck. read more

Great foodhall opened at North Station, next to the TD Garden. So much has developed in the West End area. They have multiple mini quick service restaurants to choose from like the classic Mike Pastry's, Juicy Greens, Ramen, Caffe Nero, Pizza, Reel Oysters, drinks, etc. Decent size with good seating, all open floor plan concepts. You can order at the computer screens located in various locations throughout the hub hall, which you are allowed to order from the vendors in the Hub Hall. read more

I'm giving it five stars because of convenience and quality. Though the prices for food might be high, what do you expect in such a good location? This place makes my commute much more bearable, I can get a good coffee in the morning, and tons of options while I'm waiting for my train after work. Instead of walking a half hour to Mike's Pastries, I can pick up something quick on the go. A place like this needs people to hear about it! West End's "Hub Hall!" With 18 restaurant, bar, and eatery options, we know they will always be something to satisfy both of us. "Hub Hall" really is a cut above when it comes to layout, offerings, and centralized payment and ordering systems! It's so convenient! On this trip we tried three locations: SULLIVAN'S @sullivanscastleisland Here, we tried some awesome and authentic fried clams! A little taste of Castle Island right in our backyard! (Side note: we're so excited their Castle Island location is back open today - can't wait to get down there!) CUSSER'S @cussersboston We couldn't come to Boston without grabbing some Roast Beef Sandwiches! Another perfect option to have a North Shore getaway without even leaving North Station! NOW POURING WINE BAR We then grabbed some beers (...at a Wine Bar. We know. But the seating is perfect for people watching) and ate some awesome food! We cannot wait to come back to "Hub Hall" time and time again! So many more options to try and perfectly located just a block from our apartment. Be aware, the bathrooms are small and a bit dirty. The perfect spot for when you can't decide what to eat. The smoke shop's food was amazing and the service was quick.

It's so nice to have a proper "front door" to North Station and the Garden after so many years of an open parking lot sitting vacant where the old garden used to be. And that includes Hub Hall. It's good to be able to grab Mike's Pastry on your way to catch a train, and I'm personally partial to the Cusser's outpost that makes a nice hot lobster roll. It's often raucous and crowded, and sometimes hard to find someone to serve you during slower times.. but it's still a vast improvement over pre-Hub Hall times. read more

The Hub Hall is a modern-day food court for groups who want lots of different types of food. There are a bunch of different options from pizza to ramen to oysters to Greek food to burgers to cannolis; there's something for everybody. Momosan (which has ramen and other Japanese food) is separate so you can have table service separate from the rest of Hub Hall but friends won't be able to join you. We were there on a Monday night, and it was easy to get a table, though I imagine that's a different story when there's a Celtics game. read more

Surprise, the long-awaited Hub Hall is open at last! As a West End resident, I for one am so happy to see this place finally spark to life after many (many, many...) months of radio silence. I've come through daily these first few days of operation to check things out and despite a few kinks and some inevitable comparisons to Time Out Market down by Fenway, Hub Hall is worth visiting, or at least keeping an eye on as it finds its footing (catch me here the literal second Momosan opens for business, don't care what hour of the day). So those inevitable comparisons to Time Out Market--O-K sure, Hub Hall is smaller and more tightly-packed, but Time Out had an enormous defunct Best Buy space to work with. I'll hand it to Time Out that the overall atmosphere is more up-market, while Hub Hall *feels* more on the mall food-court side for similar prices; personally, I think the clustered low tables and plastic seating have a lot to do with that. More high top/bar style seating would go a long way. How's the food? Pretty good! I've only scratched the surface, but GreCo has been my favorite (excellent fries). I'm more of a drinker and can see Now Pouring becoming a busy spot for commuters who want a quick bev before a train or a game. In my most humble opinion, the service I've received at Hub has been the real standout: the kiosk ordering system accidentally overcharged me for some tacos (I was hangry and didn't even notice tbh), but the folks at Naco Taco basically tripped over themselves to make it right (again, I didn't even ask in the first place); the bartenders were attentive from go and remembered me when I came in again; the place seems to have come online overnight, but everyone is rolling with it. A great lunch and dinner stop right at TD Garden. It had been a year since I last worked at TD Garden, and was I excited to find out that the Hub food hall had opened. I was in the mood for a sandwich at lunch. I stopped in to the panini place and boy it was hot, juicy and delicious. I stopped back for dinner at the Greek place. I had the lamb gyro bowl. Went to check this place out over the weekend. Parking was tough but if you use public transportation, it's right by north station. We were disappointed to find out the ramen place, Momosan wasn't opened yet. Will def have to come back. We walked around and saw many food options: pizzas, bbq, pizzas, juice bar, oysters/bar etc. Not many seatings for the amount of restaurants available. While waiting for the train, I stopped by and ordered from Lily P's, because I'm a fried chicken fanatic with no self control. First let me say that the woman at the counter was an absolute sweetheart. All the Hub Hall employees were very nice and friendly! Food wise, the fries were good, but my chicken was pink in the middle. Not just a little pink, but not-safe-to-eat pink. It's awful, because what I could eat was really good! I asked for a refund (which is an awful feeling, for all involved) and the woman at the register made sure to get it fixed. Will definitely come back, because it's good chicken, and it's not fair to give them only 1 star for a simple mistake. read more

At the pizza place, the server was rude and he made no effort to heat my slice, it is barely warm. Then the guilt tip, I decided to go ahead and tip 10%, the standard for to go service when the server has to take time to pack up your order. He pressed a couple of buttons, stuck a slice in the oven then tossed his nose up and ignored me when I said thank you. Simple counter service is not To Go service and usually people either don't tip or they leave the change. This guy thinks it's okay to mistreat customers over a tip he did not earn. Came here for late lunch on a Sunday afternoon + walked over from Cambridge. They have some interesting vendors that are from all the city but the ramen/sushi spot closed at weird hours so we could not get sushi which was a bummer. I got the naco taco stuff and 2 for $10 is alright. I am not sure why ever single vendor insists you tip or asks for tip -- all you did was legit hand me my food across the counter, why would I pay you a tip on top of the food cost? Our bartender Sean was the most accommodating, friendly, and inviting bartender I've had in Boston. He also made us an amazing drink (it was called a Painkiller I think?). We arrived by MBTA midday, with little time to spend before heading on. Hub Hall is right in North Station with an entryway on bustling Causeway Street. There are around 16 food and beverage stalls around a common seating area, everything from oysters to soups to bbq to tacos to fried chicken to sandwiches to pizza to ramen to salads to pastries! You can walk right up to each one, or view all the menus and order at several kiosks with computer screens. We kept it simple, with a kale caesar salad and a large bowl of clam chowder from the nice people at Boston Soup Co. The salad was very fresh and generous and hearty. The chowder was the thinner sort of creamy broth with plenty of thin-sliced tasty clams, well-balanced with potatoes and a little corn and fresh scallions. Both came with that good kind of oyster crackers. Later, we got the codes to use the clean restrooms, another plus at the train station! It is an entryway both to the street and the station, and these are food stalls, so while it is a nice food court with many delicious options, i will say that the website suggests more-elegant plating than you will get from the sturdy but practical takeout containers. We were happily well-fed, and were on our way with a ride-share just as quickly as we had hoped. read more

When live music started off in the distance I thought, "this could be nice," and it could be. But there are many eateries in this establishment, and I only tried two. Try it out! read more
