I ordered through Home Depot and they use multiple shipping company's. Never had a problem through Home Depot until they used NSD. My package is still sitting at the Hillside IL facility and it's been almost two weeks. This is the worst experience I've ever had with shipping. I have tried several times to contact them and the email said they would handle it. It's been 4 days since the email and it still hasn't left the facility... Does anyone actually work there? Terrible service. My dresser came broken the first time I ordered it last year. Then I reordered something new after I got a refund on my old dresser and the delivery team gave me the wrong dresser which clearly didn't have my address on it. Then I finally got my actual dresser and they left it outside when I paid for it to be delivered in the room of choice. Thankfully it was the correct dresser and finally was not broken. This shipping company cannot be trusted. I ordered garage cabinets from New Age to be delivered in California. Only 1 of 3 packages arrived. NSD could not track the whereabouts of the other 2 boxes after 3 weeks. New Age agreed to send another set after they didn't get a response from NSD. Had a delivery of my Nordictrack treadmill. The 2 guys were nice, polite. They did clean up the trash and took away the packaging. I paid for "white glove" delivery to include delivery and complete set up. Once they left, I noticed a piece of the equipment was hanging off and not assembled correctly resulting in a broken piece. Called them within 1 hour, sent photos directly to the same guy. He told me someone would call ne back that day. Of course no one called. I sent a message again the following day, and zero response again. Not impressed. The piece was not attached correctly, it was not broken in delivery, was broken during assembly, which again I paid extra. Worst delivery experience ever. Called to cancel an Amazon delivery of a 75 inch TV which I was assured would happen. Had Amazon call there when I noticed the shipment was still moving along. They assured Amazon it was canceled but they kept it moving along. When I called again, they told me the driver would call 30 minutes prior to delivery and I could refuse the package. As an added measure, I left a note refusing the delivery on my front door. Driver never called and ignored note on the door. My wife was home at the time and tried to speak to the driver and they ignored her and drove off. Now I have a huge TV that Amazon has to send a different carrier to come get a week from now. What a pain when they could have just sent it back in the first place. Seems obvious it must be easier for them to do a 'dump and run' than to return an item to the sender. read more

Worst shopping experience I've ever had. Scheduled the delivery of a $2k item, moved the date twice, then left me a voicemail at 6:30 PM MST the night before delivery that it was coming the next day. I'm going to be out of town for three days and it would either be stolen off my porch or sit there so the whole world knows my home is empty. Took three attempts to get through their awful phone system hell without being hung up on only to be hung up on after half an hour on hold. Contacted chat support and they said the date "couldn't" be moved due to my delivery tier - which I had no choice in since this was ordered off Home Depot website. I then call Home Depot who leaves NSD a voicemail AND an email telling them to reschedule, but said I had to call back again at 7 AM MST so they can catch NSD when they open in EST timezone. I call again, but NSD gives Home Depot and myself a final, giant middle finger and says it's on the truck and cannot be rescheduled. Home Depot needs to dump the contract with NSD. I have an order to be delivered, from Amazon. A large rooftop cargo box purchased on Amazon, unfortunately scheduled to be delivered by NSD on 10/20/21. It is now 11/2/21 - still no call from NSD to confirm delivery, cannot get through to anyone at NSD ... tracking on Amazon indicates the item is sitting in an NSD warehouse in my city!! I cannot even reach the local facility, much less find their physical location to pick it up if that was an option. Once they arrived they were professional and set up our NordicTrack bike right where we wanted it and very quickly. They cleaned up and took the box and all the packing materials with them. I don't know if I ever have left a YELP review, but here I am a very angry mother trying to get SOME ANSWERS. Here is my issue with NSD: I bought a mattress and box spring for my daughter for Christmas through Amazon, I ordered the bed on November 21st , I chose December 8th as the day for delivery. I saw that it said NSD couldn't contact me so I have been calling multiple times a day waiting the 16 minutes on hold until it says someone will call back and hangs up, I call again throughout the day going through the same motions and hang ups. I have done this every single day since the 21st and no I'm not exaggerating. I have emailed and used the chat function on NSD website. I have gotten 2 people on the chat function so far and they said they added my number to the order and they will contact me. Still nothing. I have contacted Amazon and they say they got through and NSD will contact me. Again nothing. I am extremely frustrated with this because this is for my daughter for Christmas, this is part of her big gift a whole bedroom set and this will RUIN her Christmas. I have NEVER had this issue with any other shipping company. How can they ship from many states away LITERALLY the day I ordered it having me thinking they are amazing, getting to my state super fast to not being able to get ahold of anyone having it sit in a nearby warehouse with NO way to contact them to schedule my already late shipment??? I understand that Christmas is still 2 weeks away but at this rate how can I trust them to be on time when I can't even get ahold of anyone !? I just keep getting the run around with no real answers. If I could give a lower rating, I would. I purchased a bathroom vanity from Home Depot that I ended up not using, so I initiated a return on July 5 and was routed to NSD for pickup at my house. It is now August 23 and the vanity is still sitting in my garage. I've tried calling the 800 number as instructed to schedule pickup, but run into two problems: 1) the automated system doesn't allow you to input the complete tracking number before cutting you off, and 2) I sit on hold for 15 minutes before getting an automated message saying I'll receive a call back and being hung up on. I've never received a call back after dozens of calls. I tried emailing the standard customer service email and heard back exactly once - the day I got my tracking number, assuring me that I'd get a call or email back to schedule pickup. I've never gotten another response to an email, no matter whether I replied to the existing email chain or submitted a new request via the website. The chat feature on their website has been useless since the customer service reps assigned to the chat apparently do not have access to scheduling, and they refuse to give out any direct phone numbers that would allow me to contact the local office myself. To make all of this even worse, Home Depot tells me that NSD canceled my return twice claiming that they have been unable to reach me. Home Depot has all of my contact information, so I cannot imagine what NSD's excuse is for never sending me a single message via email, text, or voicemail. I see that some other reviewers had success with an alternate customer service email, but I shouldn't have to hunt for a super-secret avenue to get ahold of someone and I definitely should not have to deal with a company that will lie about its customers rather than own up to their service issues. read more

They've had my TV for over a week. When you talk to customer service they will say they will ask the terminal. When they come back from putting you on a long hold, (probably just muted and sitting around pretending they are doing something) they say the terminal will contact you or they couldn't get ahold of anyone at the terminal. No call backs, no messages, no emails, no communication at all. My home theater project is on hold waiting for the TV that's been 2 hours away for 9 days now. I tell them I can just drive down an pick it up, but they say they can't allow that. This is stupid. My sister in law drove out 1600 miles from California in 2 days, didn't 2 days with us and drove 2 days back. 20 hours of driving 1 way, but this place can't go the final 2 hours or 109 miles. I ordered a 3 piece Husky Rolling tool box set from Home Depot On July 13th, 2022. Estes freight brought 3 large boxes to Michigan and handed off to NSD. ( signed by Curtis). They only delivered 2 (Two) large boxes, neither one being the Main rolling box. The side hanger & the flip up top We're fine, but now I see the shelves for the side hanger a are not here either. prob in the main box. I have the bill of lading from Estes showing 3 boxes and have had 4 conversations with Estes. They confirm dropping 3 large boxes to NSD directly. But NSD doesn't answer phones or email or their "chat" online. It's Pretty obvious what happened here. I suppose there's an outside possibility it's sitting at a Depot, but not likely as it is heavy and 60"+ long. I am currently talking to Law Enforcement and hope to "Find" my rolling tool box. What a nightmare after opening the box to the headboard. The required holes were not drilled from the factory for the mattress rails. Rather than box it all back up again and arrange shipping, I drilled them myself. Took me half the day to make sure all was right before drilling on a new headboard, but I pulled it off. Quality these days is mostly particle board junk and they charge you top dollar. Buyer beware. read more

Delivery service that was used to deliver my Echelon bike. Some confusion with the actual shipping and delivery date, but they were pretty responsive. Guys that delivered the bike did not have masks on. Pretty concerning in a pandemic. They also put the handlebars on backwards. Most irritating and inconvenient, they took the tools used to put the bike together ; this was a problem because there was a stopper that needed to be removed so the wheel would turn. Had to go purchase an Allen wrench when they could have just left the tools. Overall, decent experience. read more

Less than 24 hours on a work day to get rid of my old furniture and be available. Got off work and arranged for someone to be at my house at 1:00 to get the old furniture. This truck showed up at 12:15. Horrible. I had old furniture in the way, new furniture was blocking the path to get rid of the old. I'm 61, I can't move couches alone. Placed two online orders from Home Depot on 8/13/21. The items were bundled into one box and shipped via NSD, tracking # 21243085. The package arrived to the local terminal on 8/16/21 and had an estimated delivery date of 8/18/21 to 8/20/21. The package has not moved since. Since NSD does not answer the phones, the only way to get in touch is through their live chat which you have to spend 20+ minutes clicking on until it finally goes through and doesn't give you a 404 error. I've contacted NSD 5 times now and they always tell me that "the local terminal will reach out in 24-48 hours to schedule delivery" they never call... I've contacted Home Depot about this 3 times now. Home Depot reaches out to NSD and was told twice "they will reach out in 24-48 hours to schedule delivery." On their last attempt, the NSD rep said he put in an "urgent" request to the terminal and I will hear from someone within a hour. Now over 24 hours later, no call, no update, still no package... The NSD manager seems confirmed the deliver on the needed date - look forward to receive it still. ------------------------------------ UPDATE [1]: there were two orders assigned to NSD by Amazon, and the second order is messed up as well now. NSD automatic text messages just informed me they gonna deliver the package on completely arbitrary date, and Amazon shows the delivery attempt, despite configured schedule on a certain date. The chat operator just replies standard trained messages "we have technical difficulties and can't pull info now", re-routing to the phone number which doesn't reply, then just ends the chat. Will attempt to contact via Amazon, maybe they have another phone number which replies. ------------------------------------ Had an order from Amazon scheduled on a specific date, as I was out of town. NSD was sending me text messages on completely different dates (while I was out) asking to "confirm" the delivery, which was not possible. No any info about what was the delivery about, no tracking numbers, just was asking to "confirm" on completely arbitrary dates. Eventually I see Amazon canceled the order as "unable to deliver". Was trying to contact via phone - auto-reply said: "everyone is out, leave the message". Was trying to leave a message - the auto-replay said: "mailbox is full". Was trying to chat - a representative said: "our system is down, I can't pull information, I have to leave the chat", and just ended the session. What kind of service is this? read more

I have had several items delivered from Home Depot and every time this company amazes me how horrible there service and communication is. They told me there would be a courtesy call and an expected delivery window. I never received the call and the delivery occurred 8 hours outside of the window. I have still not received the item because the truck left when they could not get in the gate. I would have opened the gate if they told me the right time when the delivery was being made. I hope the item is intact because the last time they held onto the item the package was delivered with damage. If there were negative stars I would give them to nonstopdelivery.
