I ordered a NordicTrack treadmill and based on the email they sent is someone will call me to schedule date of delivery. I have not received a phone call but rather received an email indicating date of delivery. We wont be home by the indicated date. I called their CS asking for a different date but they only deliver in the area every Thursday (we don't live in the big cities of Texas). Date of delivery, I got a text message or maybe a phone call saying that they are 30 minutes out. I spoke with the delivery guy and requested where to place the treadmill by the driveway. I wish it was possible to give negative stars as a rating. My package has been in transit since January 4th as of this review it has been shipping for 15 days. We have had 2 promised delivery appointments. 1 was canceled because they suddenly realized they didn't actually have my item, and the other 1 was a missed appointment where there driver never showed or called. Calls to the company were met with double talk and the run around. No one is able to locate my package, the driver is unreachable according to the company and they have no real idea when or if my package will arrive. If you ever buy something and find out it's being shipped by NSD, cancel your order and get it shipped by someone else or buy it from someone that ships with a different company. Why does Amazon use this company? Emanuel showed up with 2 large pieces of furniture at 8am for a 10am-2pm delivery time. The 2nd person "called out sick" today and thus Emanuel showed up solo. We paid for delivery to room of choice. Emanuel told us that we didn't purchase "white glove service" and he was only allowed to go up 22 steps per house. 1 piece of furniture is broken at the bottom. The other piece of furniture is broken beyond repair - shattered, in fact. The box is destroyed and the pallet is broken in half. Extremely disappointing. read more

This company needs to go OUT OF BUSINESS, and I'm sure they will if enough people contact Amazon and other companies and tell them not to use NSD. I was supposed to receive a shipment today of a large furniture item I ordered from Amazon. They leave a three hour window for the delivery, so you're trapped at home waiting. My window was 1:30 to 4:30. Or it was. Then they notified me it would be from 1 pm to 4 pm. Well it's 4:49 now, and just a few minutes ago a lady called and said the driver had come but I wasn't home. BS. I was home all day WATCHING the parking lot for them to come. Even though they texted me multiple times to tell me different arrival times, I got nothing... no text, no call, not anything. And then when I expressed frustration, the lady (who called me from 703 708 4562) hung up on me. Luckily I got it on audio and will be reporting it to her boss (not like the boss will care, as crappy as this company is). Now, rather than bringing me my item today while I'm here STILL waiting for it, they want to reschedule to another day, so I can waste another half a day of my life on them. THEY CAN KISS MY ASS. Horrible company. I'll be reporting them to Amazon, the BBB, and state regulators. They don't deserve to be in business if they operate that way. Immediately after ordering showers doors from Amazon, the freight company NSD, claimed they tried to contact me regarding a delay in shipping they said "carrier unable to contact recipient to arrange delivery" NOT TRUE! NSD has made 2 deliveries of dining room furniture to my house, both from the same online retailer. Both times the item was delivered at the very beginning of the anticipated window of dates that the retailer indicated. NSD communicated clearly and timely throughout the process, so even though the delivery was coming at the very beginning of the estimated delivery window, I knew well in advance what day it was coming. I live in a row house and the DR is on the first/main level, and they brought the items right into my DR. (I did not pay extra for that.) Additionally, when they delivered the chairs I needed help standing up my DR table, which had been laying on its side, and one of the delivery men gladly helped me do that. If I have one minor criticism (and it is very minor), it is that the second delivery was scheduled between 8am - 12 noon, but they were knocking on my front door at about 7:10am ready to bring the items into my house. I had just gotten out of bed about 15-20 minutes earlier than that. Other than that I was very happy with both experiences. read more

Unfortunately this is the worst experience I have had with a white glove service vendor. They never called to set up a delivery date and time amd just showed up. I was not home but my son was. He called amd I came home from a meeting as quickly as possible only to be bum-rushed to sign delivery and set up paperwork for my Nordictrack eliptical machine. No testing the unit no adjustments for my height, no instruction. Turned out to be assembled incorrectly and maladjusted settings made it near impossible to use. When attempting to call the company to discuss I called no fewer than 15 times over one week, only to get caught in a hold/auto hang up cycle. No one ever returned my call and I got the feeling no one was 'there' there. If there was a zero star rating that is what they would get. The delivery set up techs were so unprofessional I had serious doubts from the moment we started talking. read more

I'm giving some stars for the actual delivery team that provided the "white glove service" and assembled the treadmill I ordered from Nordictrac. This company will send you multiple emails saying they will call to schedule a time frame. I just happened to check the tracking email and they conveniently scheduled my time slot WITHOUT calling me. I reached out via chat and phone at least three times to get this scheduled. Twice they scheduled me without my knowledge and when you call they can only offer you a day. Apparently the time slots (very wide time slots) are scheduled by "the computer". So I had to wait again hoping they didn't pick another time I would be unavailable. read more

This has to be one of the worst delivery companies I've ever dealt with. We ordered furniture and through the supplier's site we saw it had been dropped off at NSD's site. When we purchased the furniture we were told we'd have it within 48 hours of NSD receiving it. Well, 4 days later we have to call the supplier to get in contact with NSD since NSD won't return calls or update their website. Finally we have a delivery date, then as we think this great time is over...nope. They deliver half of what what purchased. Fun times. I tried to schedule a delivery of a treadmill for over a month. They kept asking me to confirm and I would but they would never show. I would call the number to try to reschedule and wait on hold until they would eventually say they would call back by never would call back. This happened multiple times and could not get in contact with anyone from nsd. I eventually called the company I ordered the treadmill through and they got in contact with nsd. They did try to deliver a few days later but it was damaged and I refused delivery. I had to reorder the treadmill and nsd was going to reship a new one. I confirmed a delivery with nsd between the hours of 4 and 8 pm. They came that day at 9:00 am and luckily I was home. I don't understand why even bother confirming a time if they are just going to deliver whenever they feel like it anyway. Glad the experience is over and hope I don't have to deal with this company again. read more

Their tracking update lied and said they attempted to deliver it 2 weeks ago - I was home all day that day and my wife works from home. No one tried to deliver anything. Then, the automated system called to set up delivery for 12/23 between 8am-12pm. I accepted the appointment and STILL NO BIKE. NSD lost my couch. How does a company lose something as large as couch? It was a unique couch. I cannot find another one. I looked. Similar ones cost substantially more than the one I "bought" and they lost. NSD could be the worst delivery company. First they called me on Friday telling me they were delivering my treadmill that day (4 days earlier than scheduled to a house I didn't live in yet). I later found out they showed up looking to pickup a treadmill and weren't actually delivering it. They sent a text on Sunday confirming delivery for the following day. On Monday, they called to cancel my delivery and told me they would call to reschedule. No phone call. On Tuesday I tried to call but their message directed me to use their online chat feature for faster service, so I did. After I explained my situation about how they cancelled my delivery and never called to reschedule, "Nada" told me that she sent an email to the local delivery center "with high importance" assuring me that someone would call within 24 hours to schedule a delivery. I told her I needed it delivered by Friday because I hired a technician to install it on Saturday. No call back on Wednesday. So today, Thursday, I get back on the chat feature to figure out what's going on. "Dominique" informs me that the warehouse will do a dock sweep today by 2pm to find my treadmill. I guess they lost it. I come to find out that NSD can't schedule a delivery until a dock sweep is done to find the item so Nada told me a lie because she never ordered a dock sweep to find my treadmill to have someone call me. Now I'm sitting around until 2pm today to see if they call back. Oh and they won't give me a direct phone number to call. Dominique told me the general number has long wait times because of the volume of calls (probably all people trying to get their stuff delivered). So I guess I will get back on the chat feature at 2:01 today because I doubt they will call me. I will update this review and change my rating if I receive better service from them. I just hope I get my treadmill today or tomorrow or I'm going to have to re-hire and pay another technician to come install it. read more

I ordered a safe through a chain store. Shipping to the front door was free. Shipping to a room of choice (up to two flights of stairs) was an extra $115. The safe was 290 lbs, so I was glad to pay the extra to have it delivered to a room of choice - which in my case was down one flight of stairs in my basement. The chain store hired NSD to provide the "white glove" delivery. Two NSD delivery guys brought the safe to my front door on a dolly and after trying to lift it up said they would need a third guy to get it down the stairs. After calling back to their boss, they told us they would reschedule a time to come back with a third guy and put it in my room of choice. I even got a voicemail from the local NSD office later that afternoon (which to my great regret, I missed) trying to schedule a time for the delivery guys to come back out. The next day I called back to schedule and suddenly they decided that "my stairs were too narrow". Nothing at all was said about the stairs being too narrow before - not by the delivery guys who were present in my home and not on the voicemail from their office asking me to call back to reschedule. They refused to discuss the extra money I paid to have it delivered to my room of choice since it was the chain store that hired them. To the question of whether the safe was too wide for my stairs - it was 20.25" deep and 19" wide. I have normal sized stairs. There is literally no way the safe was too wide for the stairs. Heavy? Yes. Wide? No. I am now out of luck, with a safe sitting next to my front door and NSD gets to keep my money. I will have to pay another 100-150 to have actual movers come out and do the job I already paid NSD to do. This isn't just poor service, it is an outright scam. They realized sometime after they left my house that I have no leverage and no recourse but to leave a bad review if they decided to just say screw it, and wash their hands of completing the service they had been paid for, so that is exactly what they did. If you are considering doing business with them, I can only say they will probably not hesitate to do the same to you. read more

I know they are hurting for help, but I received a call a week in advance of delivery they would be delivering my bed from JCPenny. The day before delivery they called to set up delivery time, then a call that night around 8:30 they couldn't deliver the next day and suggested a week delay. I had just broken our old bed down and had no bed to sleep on. I spent that next afternoon having to go pick it up my self. Fyi, Ryder delivery service was supposed to be the service used but they must have subcontracted the service to NSD.
