Delivery men from this company were rude and inconsiderate; just doing the bare minimum. At first, they tried to not even bring the item into my unit, saying I had to do it myself (the thing weighed over 300 pounds). Then, they left behind a lot of trash. I chased them down and asked them to clean up after themselves, to which they said, "Okay, we'll drive around and grab it" and then just took off. Probably the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced from a company. They could care less about customer experience, being polite or considerate, and unethically lie to customers. This is my first time writing a Yelp review. Normally I'm too busy but I feel compelled based on my experience with NSD. I am blown away by the lack of professionalism and horrible customer service. My package is 1 day late. Upon calling them to inquire the representative was rude and dismissive and told me that someone would let me know in 24-48 hours when my package would be delivered. Basically that my package would be 3 to 4 days late and there was nothing they could do about it. The thing is, they confirmed that my package had arrived at the local distribution center in my area. So my package was local but it would take them days after the date I was given to deliver it. That's horrible! More importantly, the representative was rude as hell. She was annoyed that I was questioning their acute incompetence. They don't deserve one star. They really couldn't care less! Based on all the other reviews, this is the norm! The most horrible customer service and delivery service I have ever had to deal with...and I'm still missing my 70 lb vanity top. They never called like they said they would 30 min prior to delivery. Someone was home all day and there is no ring doorbell footage of any delivery. Yet their tracking and manager, Robert Hollis, said it was delivered. They can't provide any proof it was delivered. Hmm a little sketchy that you can't prove it considered all major delivery services now take pictures for these type of situations. Their customer service is a complete joke and utterly useless. Here are some of my favorite responses I received (verbatim): Kelsey: "so per Danny at the warehouse had advised the manager is aware and is going to call you today and come by your house after speaking with you of course" (never received that phone call) Ali: "you can reach a supervisor at this email extramile@shipnsd.com" Me: (I questioned this since it was a generic email and not manager specific) Ali:"ok hold let me if I can get you a supervisors emails. Like a better one" "Ok I just talked to my supervisor he said that is the email" I really wish I was exaggerating but this is the absolute worse experience I have ever had with a company. I would have been better off driving hours away to a Home Depot that had it in stock than waste hours and hours with their incompetent customer service to try to track it down. If I could give them zero stars I would!! Home Depot needs to find someone else to provide delivery service for them!! We had a shower door delivered by NSD. We paid $85 for "Threshold Delivery" inside the first entryway. What we found was they left it outside on our concrete porch in freezing weather face down/flat, hanging off the porch about 2 feet over the stairs. We found that it was delivered when we walked out to get the mail. It weighs aprox 300lbs. No call, no knock, no doorbell. We paid for the inside delivery because my husband just had knee replacement and could not help move it. One end of the box was torn open. I called NSD and all they told me was to contact Home Depot for a refund on the shipping charges. Trying to contact NSD was a chore in itself, after 16 min their phone system hung up on me. 35 min wait in a chat window finally got me a person who told me to call Home Depot for a refund. They didn't want the photos I took of the box hanging off my porch or the damaged end. Again call Home Depot if there is damage for a replacement or refund. The people on the chat line give the same response of someone will call you and no one ever does. It has been two weeks since I've been told someone will call me regarding scheduling delivery of my treadmill and NOTHING. What bothers me the most is I am 2 weeks into an almost $5,000 loan and no product, not even a delivery date. UPDATE: My small shed has been sitting in a local warehouse and no one from NSD is able to schedule a delivery before next week. This is in spite of the fact that the original delivery was intended for Sep 3rd and is now well over a week late. No apology from NSD. No attempt to prioritize delivery. My wife has called and after waiting on the phone for over half an hour got no help from NSD. ORIGINAL: First ever yelp review but my experience with NSD has been horrific. We ordered two items from amazon (a shed and a pool table). The items never come on time but often a week or more later while NSD agents (if I'm able to reach them) have no way to track my item or even predict when it will arrive. Even a week or more later they have scheduled delivery appointments (via text) that they missed without an apology. Finally, when they do arrive they refuse to place the item inside the doorway (as expected per Amazon purchase) and the item arrives damaged (sometimes beyond repair). This has been the worst delivery experience with amazon ever. I'm truly surprised amazon deals with a delivery company such as NSD. read more

This is the worst delivery company I have ever interacted with. Ordered a table from Lowe's and was given a delivery date. It was "out for delivery" and they made no delivery attempt. I called them 5 times over the course of a month and could never reach a human. When I select the option to get a callback, I never get a call back. A full month after it was out for delivery, I got a text to confirm another delivery time, it then said "out for delivery" again but the same thing happened -- they never delivered it. Waited at home all day both times. Lowe's apparently has no way to get in contact with them either. Very Very bad experience with NSD: On 06/14, I ordered this: 113-5746789-5754650, it's a prime product, it said the delivery will be on 06/25, I accepted this. The delivery didn't arrive on 06/25; From 06/26 to 06/30, I checked every day except Sunday, both Amazon and NSD all indicated: "Out for delivery, delivery scheduled for today between 1:00pm to 6:00pm", that's a wrong message; After checking the delivery status, every day I called NSD customer service, the answer: "we don't generate those messages, Amazon put the messages there, those are wrong messages, no delivery is scheduled today for you"; When I ask NSD for an estimated delivery date, the answer: "we don't know, we call center can't contact our dispatch center, we can't help you, you have to wait, our dispatch center will call you 24 hours before delivery"; The above aren't the customer service I expect to experience with Amazon, I feel sorry that Amazon chose this service provider. My treadmill arrived today finally but there was no phone call letting me know they were on there way I noticed the driver pull up and figured he would knock on the door to let me know he was here and to ask where to put it so after about 10 minutes I went to check on the driver and he was gone they just dropped the treadmill on my driveway and left Driver never came to the door or anything I was told that I was supposed to sign for the treadmill and they would deliver it to my door not just drop it in the driveway and leave. I was told that I would be contacted prior to the delivery to schedule an appointment Since I work I needed to be home. Instead I received a text stating they would be arriving with my treadmill to deliver and put together in 30 minutes. No one had contacted me to schedule that day. It was fortunate that I could be home when they arrived because they came from another state 3 hours away. This is definitely not good service. Later that day when I tried my treadmill I realized the fan was extremely loud. But the people who put it together are too far away to come check it out. And when I contacted Nordictrack they said the console needed to be removed to check the fan. So I am just putting up with the loudness. read more

We had a 160lb dresser delivered. There was only ONE person that showed up to make our delivery. He was expected to somehow move a 160lb dresser up a steep mountainside driveway by himself. Luckily my husband was home and was able to help him. The delivery person was very nice and honest. This is the fault of the company. We were given a 4 hour window for delivery and were told we would get a call 30min prior to arrival of the delivery. We did not receive that call so luckily we made arrangements to be home during our 4 hour window. Our dresser arrived with the packaging and dresser itself damaged...which I'm guessing happens frequently if this company is sending one person to move and deliver hundreds of pounds of furniture. It was on back order and thought we would have plenty of time to set up our nursery. I was thrilled when my husband got an email stating delivery on 6/29 and called to confirm delivery time. They never showed. When my husband called back and tried to get an update they told him there was never a scheduled delivery, it got to the terminal on 6/29. He asked if he could schedule a delivery date, and they told him they would call him back. He called every single day twice a day and they kept telling him they would call him back by a certain time and never did. I finally called and explained that my baby is coming any day now. I am on bed rest and not allowed to get out of bed due to pregnancy complications. My husband has to be here to accept delivery as I can not assist them in any way, and I just want a solid delivery date so I can plan for help. I am so worried that I will have my baby and not have any furniture. I am not going to get the joy of getting a nursery set up and clothes put away before she arrives. After they told me they understood what I was saying, they said they would call me back. I never heard from them. That was 7/3. We didn't call again until this morning, and at that time they said they would deliver today. It is on the tracking website deliver set and scheduled with a time frame for today. They didn't show and the fact I had someone here to help and their time was wasted. At this rate I will not have my furniture before the baby is born, and she won't have a bed to sleep in. I ordered a pool from Amazon on the 17th of June with a projected delivery date of June 30. It is now July 18, and only after daily attempts to get anyone to help me, do I have a "promise" to call this Wednesday (July 20) to set up a delivery appointment. I have called the customer service number countless times and not once has a live person answered the phone. After about 15 minutes you are told they will call you back and you are hung up on. I have sent emails to every email address I can find for both NSD and HubGroup (the parent company) to include Stacy Harrold who was mentioned in other reviews here. All I ever get is "we appreciate your patience.". My patience was gone after my delivery was a week late. It is now almost 3 weeks late and I still have no pool. I received an email from 1StopBedrooms on 6/1/23 telling me my furniture was delivered to the "white glove delivery service", and I would be contacted within a week to schedule the delivery to my home. I paid extra for delivery into the 1st. room of the house. After a 13.5-hour workday, and stopping elsewhere, I got home at 10:30 p.m. only to find 6 big ass boxes in my driveway. I had to "hump" the smaller boxes (48, 48, and 61 lbs.) into the house alone, and shuffle the 100, 101, and 106 lb. boxes into the garage.
