Warning to those considering this company for your delivery and furniture assembly service. I have been trying to have furniture delivered since Monday and still have not received it yet. This is an extremely unreliable company - Customer Service (if you can call it that) is very good at apologizing and even better at not returning calls. So buyer should definitely BEWARE!!!! Beware if you are making big purchases from major retailers like OFFICE DEPOT, HOME DEPOT, etc. Make sure they are not using this company before you agree to purchase. We ordered a bed on Amazon. NSD is the shipping company. We were scheduled for delivery, where we were required to be home, on 7/9/20. The NSD website showed it was out for delivery as of 4:00 a.m. the morning on the 9th. That evening, I called and was on hold over 30 minutes 2 times with no answer. To shorten the story, we spoke to representatives on multiple occasions. They gave us new delivery dates each time but never showed up. (7/14, 7/17, and 7/20) Representatives at NSD say they will "escalate" the call every time you can actually speak to someone. Four days of missed work, waiting for our promised delivery. Each time, their website shows the package to be back out for delivery and each night it changes to being at the terminal. We still do not have the bed and NSD has offered no answers. UPDATE: While NSD assured us multiple times that our package was in the terminal, eventually they claimed it was never there. They said the package was refused upon receipt by them because the package label was incorrect. They claim they never had the package yet they scheduled deliveries, when we were required to be home, FOUR times. We do not have the bed we ordered and we had to request a refund through Amazon. Shame on Amazon for using this company. NSD has tons of similar complaints. read more

I am on hold with NSD as I type. This is my third day in a row trying to get some customer service for my order (which is valued over $1,000). My SCHEDULED delivery was Monday between 9:00 and noon; they never showed up or called. I have called 4 times, to be left on a 20 minute hold each time, then the line disconnects the call. It is impossible to talk to anyone. My latest email was answered with a note stating the delivery company would be calling me between 24 and 48 hours to reschedule my delivery!?! The guys delivering it very professional and polite but the item was completely destroyed to the point were it was not salvageable. Delivery was scheduled ahead, but no one showed up on designated day. Not even a phone call. Received call next day when they were on the way to make delivery. Package was badly damaged, but fortunately the item inside was not damaged. Item was heavy, but not sure package was treated well. This company is a joke. Home depot setup a return of an item (tracking 13842022) with them over 3 weeks ago and i have yet to receive a phone call (supposed to be within 3-5 business days). Every time I contact nonstop delivery customer support i get the following "I was unable to reach the local terminal to try to schedule the pick up now, however I will escalate the order with upper management and my management for them to assist on making sure they call today for scheduling. " 4-5 days in a row of the same BS. this is ridiculous. This delay has cost me a lot of money in having to cancel contractors and delay the entire remodel project. I purchased a tv and these people are to deliver it, according to the tracking it started in Illinois, I live in Tennessee , they drive through Tennessee to ga and it's just setting! I messaged them through the chat and even offered to go pick it up since it's less than a hour away and the lady told me they were trying to find a route to my location and it would be next week when it will be delivered. Words can't express the horrific experience I've had with NSD shipping. I placed an order for a patio set on June 22, 2020, from Amazon. The order was shipped the same day. Tracking started on June 23, 2020, and was updated consistently up until June 30th. After a couple of days of not receiving updates on tracking I reached out to NSD's customer service and I was advised that my merchandise is at a terminal in Ellenwood, Ga. I offered to come and pick it up since I live about an hour and a half from Ellenwood. The rep said due to Covid-19 they are not allowing customers to come to the facility for pickups. It's really difficult to reach someone in Customer Service and the online Chat is not manned properly. I continued to monitor the progress of the tracking of my patio set. On July 9, 2020, I was advised by NSD that my package had been "lost" by a carrier used by Amazon. WOW! I had a panic attack. I called Amazon and told them what happened and as usual they were more than happy to assist me with the issuance of my $1294 refund. I refuse to believe that this merchandise was "lost" in transit. After reading so many reviews with people who have shared similar experiences something MUST be done about this! Can someone please advise if there is some type of legal action against NSD? I am in utter shock that they are still in business. From the reviews I've researched, the people who leave 5-star ratings are people who receive merchandise that is not "high demand" such as exercise machines and damaged refrigerators, etc. C'mon now, obviously something is going on inside the company where this valuable merchandise is coming up "missing" and the only solution that NSD can come up with is "please contact Amazon, etc because their carrier never shipped the merchandise to our terminal". I've been checking the tracking on NSD's website every single day and it reached one of the terminals in Ellenwood, Ga. NSD is telling me that my package is undeliverable because it was "lost". These are not ethical practices. How in the world can a patio set containing a table, 6 swivel chairs and pillows get "lost". I'm happy I got my money back from Amazon, but I would rather have my patio set. Dealing with NSD has been a total nightmare. I will be contacting the CEO, Scott Belkam, to let him know what's going on at his NSD company. All of these are facts I have no reason to make up anything about NSD. wow, absolutely the worst delivery company ever. ordered a water heater from home depot. originally delivery was 23 july, apparently it showed up way early and NDS decided to deliver to me friday evening at 9:30 without so much as a call. interestingly enough, after checking the tracking it shows "scheduled delivery" they never said a word. thus two delivery men show up at 9:30 on a friday night with a 300lb 75inch tall water heater i had to get by myself around a row of townhomes (over grass). the water heater was taller than me, thankfully i had a neighbor available to assist with part of the way, otherwise it would have sat outside my home all night. i cannot think of a company in recent times who was so incosiderate and frankly, horrible. i'm not ordering anything that requires delivery from NDS. i'll arrange store pick up with my own truck from now on..it's simply not worth the trouble dealing with them. read more

By far - BY FAR - the worst, most inept, and disrespectful company I have ever dealt with. On one order via Home Depot, their shippers destroyed my item upon delivery. On re-order, the item was destroyed upon delivery again. The second return date was blown off despite confirmation and paperwork. The six times I've tried to call the company, I've been put on hold for long stretches and have been hung up on three times. If an item you need has been sent to ship with them, cancel the order. We ordered a Kayak from Amazon back in May. The kayak was on backorder so we had to wait. The kayak finally shipped and arrived at the local NSD terminal on Friday June 26. On June 29 Amazon and NSD's system reported that a delivery had been scheduled for Wednesday July 1st (although I had received no phone call). Great I took the time off from work to be home for the delivery! July 1st comes and by 6 pm I had not heard from NSD so I called them, after waiting 30 minutes on hold I requested a callback. At 820pm I received a callback from a very nice lady who informed me that the Kayak showed to be at the terminal. When I explained the above she told me that I would have received a scheduling phone call and a call 30 minutes prior to the trucks arrival. Well that never happened. Fast forward to July 3rd Amazon and NSD now show that delivery was scheduled again but for July 7th, yet I received no phone call regarding it. Imagine my surprise when a truck shows up with my Kayak at 230pm on July 7th...no phone call! The deliver guys were nice enough, but the expensive Kayak was scratched up , filthy and obviously had been walked on. I ordered a NordicTrack 2450 Treadmill and paid for "White Glove" service, which included delivery and assembly. The NSD team that delivered and assembled the treadmill over-screwed some of the screws, causing aesthetic damage to the machine. They also tore the treadmill mat that I purchased from NordicTrack and were generally rude. I tipped them $40 when they left, and it's the only tip I've ever regretted giving. Fast forward a couple weeks to when I decided to return the treadmill, as I ended up not being happy with how it integrates with the iFit software, among other issues. When I spoke with ICON - NordicTrack's parent company - the woman who initiated the return told me that since I paid for "White Glove" delivery, as long as the treadmill would fit through the door, they would take it away, and there was no need for me to do anything else. The NSD pickup team arrived and said that they were not authorized to disassemble the machine, and so they couldn't pick it up. I called back NordicTrack, waiting on hold for over an hour (again), and the woman told me that I had been mis-informed before, and that I did have to disassemble the machine, or I could pay $249 for disassembly service. Obviously, I was furious, but I said I would disassemble it myself. I called back NSD, and now they are telling me that I have to repackage the treadmill as well, even though it states on NordicTrack's website that a box will be provided for pickup returns. Because I paid for "White Glove" delivery, the NSD team took away the box and all packaging following assembly, so obviously I do not have it. Moreover, ICON/NordicTrack has never mentioned that I would need a box. Even worse, Robert Estrada, the NSD rep who has been in contact with me is now telling me I have to take a photo of the fully disassembled and repackaged treadmill before they will come back out and pick it up. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? At this point, I've concluded that ICON/NordicTrack and NSD are colluding to screw people out of money. But lesson learned: I will be sure make sure that I do not use NSD for any deliveries ever again. read more

My order was shipped to the local NSD terminal in Sacramento, in order to arrange the final delivery to my home. According to the tracking information, I would receive a call within 48 hours to deliver. After 48 hours passed, I contacted NSD to check on delivery, and they said they were not able to get a hold of the local office, but I will receive a call shortly. After another 2 days, I contacted them again and explained that I still have not received a call to arrange delivery. Once again, I was told they were not able to get in contact with the local delivery in Sacramento, but I will receive a call within 48 hours. 3 days later, still no call, and I contacted them a 3rd time. Same exact response from Customer Service. I'm still waiting... For a logistics company, they seem to have no communication abilities. I have no idea how they can stay in business. Update 6/25/2018: Immediately after I wrote this review, I was contacted by the NSD customer service manager (Pat) via email. He stated he would take care of this immediately, and soon after I was contacted via email by another CS associate, stating that he was personally assigned to this order to resolve. I was quite happy with the response. However... several days passed, and I never received an update. So, I contacted the associate for an update. Still no response. After a couple more days, I again emailed the associate for an update, and no response. On June 18, I then proceeded to call the NSD Customer Service number, and after about 30 minutes on hold, I was told that my order was scheduled to be delivered on June 20 between 8am and 4pm, and I would get a call 30 min before delivery. Finally, I thought this was going to take place, so I took the day off work and waited at home for delivery. That afternoon, I still hadn't received a call, so I contacted NSD via chat and to make sure it was in route. The associate told me they had no record of the delivery happening that day, and no idea why I had been told that. When I asked when it would be delivered then, they said I will get a call no later than 6/22/2018 to take care of this. On 6/22, I had still not received a call, so contacted NSD via their online chat, and was told there was still no information, and that the terminal did not respond to their emails about an update. They said it was being escalated to management. I then emailed the CS Manager back along with the associate that had my case assigned, and told them what had happened, and asked for an update, and once again, I never received a response. On 6/25, I contacted CS again via chat, and asked for an update. I was told once again that the terminal was not responsive to their inquiry, and that it would be escalated again. It has now been sitting at the Sacramento terminal for 20 days, without a single attempt to schedule delivery. I must admit that all of the CS people are quite nice, but the fact still remains that the local terminal in Sacramento has serious issues with communication and delivery. read more

Received the box, on the wrong day, with huge DAMAGED written on the side, box was destroyed, the contents were destroyed. I called Home Depot customer service, they were surprised (more than me) that the DAMAGED box was delivered. Have a huge box sitting in the middle of my living room waiting for the NSD to set up pick-up time. Can not get a hold of customer service via phone - no phone operators. Keep getting same stupid email - We will contact you to arrange the pickup. This is the 3rd email I received. I contacted Home Depot RVP, explained the situation and consistent issues with this service. He promissed to kick it up the food chain - don't know if that will happen. NordicTrack partnered with NSD to deliver my new elliptical. NSD then works with another service to schedule the delivery (CordonBlue). NSD/Cordon Blue contacted me thru email and text to inform me of the delivery date -- unfortunately they offered a single date and time and there was absolutely no way to get in touch with EITHER them to see if other dates/times were available. The contact phone number is a dead end, no way to talk to an actual human. It was a good thing i could make arrangements on the delivery day! Ohhhh where to begin with this nightmare service, I have been on hold for 40 minutes and counting with NSD customer service after trying to contact them all day yesterday through the chat function without any reply during business hours (prior to 10pm). My eBay purchased package was supposed delivered yesterday 6/17 between 1-4pm per my seller and the NSD tracker. All day from 11a.m. it was "out for delivery" in my city. I took off work as a registered nurse on a busy oncology unit to wait for a delivery and as the window neared it's closure I attempted calling and chatting with NSD without call back or chat response. It was disappointing, but I gave NSD the benefit of the doubt that my item would be delivered today and assumed the driver had a long day and likely not enough time to complete my delivery. I waited all day today for contact from NSD that never came. My husband stayed to work from home in the hopes it would be delivered today. I had a busy day treating cancer patients, but when I could I checked the NSD tracker, and noticed the status changed and said the package was back in the original location and my delivery is now on 6/22/20! 5 days after when I was told it would be here. I had confirmed with my eBay seller and he confirmed with NSD that my item would be here before the weekend (prior to 6/22). When I finally got to speak to an NSD rep this evening, after almost an hour on hold because you can't trust the call back function, he says there was an error in their system and cannot say with confidence where my package is and he can't get it out to me tomorrow or even confirm if he can get it to me on Saturday. He told me the only thing I can do is call back tomorrow, so lucky me. I get to be on hold all day while trying to work with a shoulder shrug chance of whether anything can be remedied or not. This is the worst shipping experience I've ever had. I highly recommend you use a more organized and thorough organization for shipping. But so far, they have had the shipment for a week at their warehouse; they estimated delivery for June 15 - June 17 (today is June 17) yet delivery has not yet been scheduled. I have waited about 45 minutes on the phone on hold for customer service twice, only to be disconnected each time. I have waited about 30 minutes for and online chat session three times--the first time I got no information; the second time the chat agent terminated the session in mid session; the third time someone was finally able to tell me that a schedule delivery date would be available later today -- we'll see how that goes. read more

Point the finger whichever way you want but looks like NSD lost it (11/19). 3 times they changed the schedule while I assume they looked for it again. I received a replacement 3 months later but it did come. When my wife asked to have them put it in the hallway literally 5 feet from the door the driver could have been a little friendlier. read more

I don't deal with NSD directly but they are used by Amazon to ship packages. Unfortunately my shipment "fell off the truck" and was not deliverable. Not that I got a notification, I had to seek out why it had not arrived yet. Oh and the seller no longer has inventory so I'm now SOL and likely paying a couple hundred dollars more as it impacts the matching set of items that were ordered. We called NSD and got the run-around, "we can't connect to the local terminal" and "they'll call you back within an hour" but got absolutely no return call. When I finally spoke to someone, she supposedly attempted to contact the local terminal in Leetsburg, PA (outside of Pittsburgh) but no one would answer her call. Can someone please explain to me how a terminal does not have an office manager to answer calls? My patience is at 0. I told her they have until noon today to call me back, or I'm calling again, as well as filing complaints with the BBB and state. At this point, I'll drive the 1-1/2 hours to their terminal and pick up my packag myself, if I could get in touch with someone.
