If I could give NSD Shipping negative stars I would. I ordered cabinets from a company that told me it would be shipped via NSD Shipping. I was told that they would call to arrange a delivery date with a 4 hour window and a 30 minute courtesy pre-call while enroute. I received NONE of that. They delivered on a day that my husband was out of town and a time when I was at a doctor's appointment. Someone was supposed to be at home in order to ensure everything was delivered and sign for the delivery. They just dropped the crate off in our driveway and left. I attempted to call them while waiting for my doctor and could not get anyone on the phone. Their automated voice response said someone would call me back (even though I did not ask for this) and then hung up on me. So I was stuck with this huge crate containing close to $4000 worth of cabinets in our driveway with no way to move it and it was supposed to rain the next day. So in my opinion they deserve way less than 1 star. And by the way I checked their website and they are still claiming that my package has not even been delivered yet. read more

Horrible experience. Ordered a piece of furniture from Ashley Furniture at the beginning of August. NSD scheduled deliver for 9/1/22. That date came and went and absolutely no communication. When you call their 800#, it puts you on hold for 15 minutes and then states that they will call you when it is your turn in line. It verifies the number that you are calling from and then automatically disconnects. Not a single one of my phone calls has been answered or returned in the past 8 days of trying. You will be able to chat with someone online. They will give you zero information, vague run-arounds, or straight up lie. I was assured they would get it to me by 9/5/22. I really felt like this would happen since tracking showed it was in my town!!!!! No go, they proceeded to transport it to another town, then updated tracking said their truck broke down. I waited patiently. It then shipped back to my town!!! They will now not schedule delivery, and tell me that I'm not allowed to contact them to set up delivery, but I have to wait for them to contact me to schedule and they don't know when that will be.... Seeing Russell B.'s recent review shows me this may never happen. What a joke of a company. I am near ready to cancel the entire order based on this horrific delivery system where I'm not allowed to talk to anyone.... If I could give 0 stars I would. I've used their services for my houses in both NY and FL and the service is the same. This company is VERY UNRELIABLE. They need to revamp their Delivery Operations/Mgmt Team. Avoid if you could! Tell your Retailer do not use them if they could! Unfortunately one of the retailers I frequently shop from, uses NSD for their "freight items" only....sigh... I 've had numerous service encounters for "over promising and under delivering". They offer "White Glove Service" which is an upsell service that is supposed to provide delivery to the room of choice with minor assembly (subjective) and unpacking and removal of contents and discarding of packaging. However, its a SHAM, because it seems that the delivery folks HATE doing it. After paying for it on my 1st, 2nd and 3rd order and not receiving it, I called my retailer to complain. By the time of my fourth order and not receiving it, I clearly specified to my retailer to not charge me for the service because I was not receiving it. Unfortunately for my 1st 3 orders I did not have picture proof that I didnt receive it, so I was unable to get a refund. "White Glove Service". -Ripoff The drivers show up with their delivery comments saying delivery is " Threshold Only" meaning they leave it at the entrance/threshold to your home and in spite of you showing them your pprwk with "White Glove" clearly spelled out on the receipt, they just tell you to call your retailer. But if you tip them right they would do you a "favor" and provide white glove service....do you get how it works?? Communication: Customers are promised and provided a 4hr delivery window with call to schedule delivery as well as a call within 30 minutes of delivery. This is a "hit and miss" and is not the norm with their drivers. Lesson. Read the delivery paper notes and comments and get a copy before their departure. This is by far one of the worst shipping carriers I have ever worked with. My package was supposed to arrive on 9/2/2020 by 9pm. No package at 10pm. I call the next day and am assured that I would receive a call in the next few days about rescheduling. I receive no call. I decide to use the online chat. I am told the item is still in Seattle, WA with no current ETA. I say that Amazon had different tracking information shown. I am then told they haven't gotten the order. I ask how the package could be at their facility in Washington if they haven't gotten the package. I am finally told that the package will be available to schedule in a week with no explanation as to how that ETA was come up with. Not even worthy of 1 star, absolute worst experience I've ever had getting items delivered. Our order was placed online for a table & chairs on October 18th. NSD was selected as the local delivery terminal. They contacted me, through text (only way they communicate, by the way), and said our items would be delivered December 29th, over 10 weeks after placing our order. They never showed. It took them another week to get the delivery rescheduled for January 6th. They showed up, but did not have our items on the truck. I waited for 5 days to see if they would contact me to reschedule yet again, nothing. When I finally reached out & told them nothing was delivered on the 6th, they "apologized" and asked me what city. Hadnt heard a word back... until just now, 3 weeks later. The message I just received says "I am so glad we were able to get your table out for delivery, just wondering how everything went with your delivery." REALLY???!!! We have already started a dispute with our bank since the original company we ordered from would not refund our order. NSD delivered a NordicTrack treadmill over the weekend. The box was damaged and there was also damage to the treadmill belt. The company scheduled delivery between 1p-5p but showed up repetitively banging on the door at 9a. I have a functional doorbell, not sure why that was necessary. One of the delivery guys was not wearing a mask which I feel is a safety issue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, when asked if they would take the box to the back porch, one of the delivery guys said, "Well, that would be between me and you" and basically asked for cash under the table. This, in my opinion, is very unprofessional. I do plan to contact NordicTrack to discuss the delivery, and, in reviewing the reviews for this company in combination with my experience, will be suggesting they do longer contract with NSD. read more

I ordered a Generator from Amazon on March 26th. About a $900.00 purchase, shipping from Seattle to Tampa Bay. At some point in shipment, and for no apparent reason, there was some confusion in tracking after it had reached Tampa, and I got an email from Amazon saying the purchase had been cancelled. I didn't quite know why, no reason given, so I tried to get in touch with anybody - ANYBODY - at NSD. The phone hold makes you wait for 50 minutes, then cuts you off. The online chat is unstaffed. The emails to this company get no response. On April 6, we received shipment - of a Bench Press/ Barbell Set - attached to it the shipping order for my Generator. Apparently, literacy is an issue with these folks; even when there's an illustration of a bench press on the box, they apparently thought it was a generator. I called Amazon, explained what we'd received instead of what we ordered, and they immediately re-ordered my generator. We donated the weight set to an underserved school. The new Generator order, again handled by NSD, hit the road on April 12, scheduled for delivery on April 16. It made it to Tampa by that date, and has been sitting in a terminal since. I cannot get ahold of ANYBODY at NSD again, and have absolutely no idea when to expect this order at my front door. My advice to anyone ordering heavy or bulky packages from Amazon or any other vendor; if the item ships via NSD, cancel the order and find another way. I still wonder what they'll finally deliver if and when they get around to it. Meantime, I'm out $900.00. read more

This is quite possibly the worst delivery company I have ever seen. I received an alert that a delivery would be scheduled for the next day between 8-12 as long as I confirmed by 4pm. I confirmed by email and text but they never showed up. When I called around 3pm I found out through the automated number that the delivery was now scheduled for 2 days later. Finally we confirm delivery for today between 8-12. At 6:45am we get woken up from an automated call that the delivery is on its way. My husband goes downstairs to wait. Around 7:45 he gets an alert from our front camera and sees the delivery driver. The guy barely knocks on our front door and could not be heard in the same room and then just leaves without even calling. We've been sitting home all day. I've called 4-5 times and no one calls back. I tried the chat feature on their website and no one even responded. What a joke. The automated number now says it's out for delivery and will arrive sometime between 12am and 12am. It's an elliptical that's also supposed to be assembled. This is the most unacceptable service I have ever seen. I wish I could rate them zero stars read more

I had a really difficult experience with NSD where they had my wrong address listed with their delivery team. It was about 4 times that I had to reschedule and every time I spoke to someone on the phone, they said that the address was updated when it actually wasn't. Apparently it was some kind of glitch in their system. The reason I'm giving 4 stars now is because one of their employees, Jessica Dixon, really stuck with my case and got to the bottom of what was going on. She gave me multiple follow up calls to give me updates, and stuck to the other parties involved that were needed to update my address and do a few other things. Finally my Wayfair return that they were scheduled to pick up was completed. So yeah normally I would give much lower stars for the employees that did a half-baked job with my case, but since there are some dedicated employees, like Jessica, I'm giving 4. read more

NSD finally delivered the snow blower I purchased from Home Depot. Six weeks later than the original delivery estimate. When I was called to schedule delivery, the representative said my address was outside of their service area and they were not contracted to deliver my item. He also refused to offer a delivery window for a time I would be home and I had to use a vacation day to stay home and wait for them. He acted like he was doing me a huge favor by offering to come to my home at all. NSD accepted the shipment from Home Depot with full knowledge of my address so I don't understand their protests to actually following through. All of the complaints on Yelp about their atrocious customer service are true. No answer on their customer service phone line. Meaningless "escalations" from their online chat representatives. I don't know if "Brian" from the email address helped at all. It was still several weeks from my message to him when I actually received a call to schedule delivery. Home Depot was also of no help whatsoever and shares the blame for my experience. Beware when ordering large items from them. If you have an item shipped through NSD my recommendation is to immediately try to cancel your order and get your money back. read more

If I could give them less than 1 start I would! Bought a large item off of Amazon. They never delivered or called when they said they were supposed to. Then claimed to have the wrong phone number, one digit off? So we gave them the correct phone number through NSD and Amazon over a dozen times. They never called or delivered. Item got shipped back to Amazon so I ordered a replacement order. Got SHIPPED through NSD. Once again never delivered or called. On the EIGHTH attempt we demanded to be able to pick up the item. Amazon contacted the local shipper filled out the form and got approval for us to pick it up, but never gave us the address. Called Amazon and NSD to get the address and were told we were not allowed to pick it up. I showed them the email where we were approved and then we were told they needed to contact the local shipper. Which is what they already did when we first got approval. This was over a month from when the item was supposed to be delivered. Canceled the order, and will never order anything large through Amazon because I never want to deal with NSD again... read more

What kind of logistics company can't hit their target delivery date by at least 1 day? I ordered a tool chest from HD. Expected delivery date was 11/30. NSD tracking number states that the local terminal received the tool chest on 11/28. 11/29 I chat with someone from NSD to see if they have a planned delivery date. The NSD chat agent stated that they usually take about 48 hours after it arrives at the final terminal to deliver so it should still be delivered by 11/30. So, I go ahead and take 11/30 off work since my garage is the only dry area I have they can drop it at. 11/30 rolls around and no update to the tracking number. So I get on chat again. This time the chat agent tells me that they have 3-5 business days for it to sit in the local terminal before it gets delivered and then disconnects the chat. So, I call NSD. The girl that answered cannot get in touch with the local terminal. So, I call HD. The girl at HD is able to immediately get in touch with NSD. NSD states someone will call be in 20 minutes and the tool chest will be here today (11/30). Guess what? No call in 20 minutes from NSD. So, I check the tracking number again online. Now it says scheduled delivery date of 11/27. 2 DAYS AGO BEFORE THEY EVEN HAD IT IN THE LOCAL TERMINAL!! So I call NSD AGAIN. I speak to a young man and I am pissed because it is now almost 3pm and it looks like I took the day off for nothing. Of course, he can't get a hold of the local terminal (I think that is just a BS story they tell all callers). I tell him this is unacceptable and I realize he is just a guy in a call center somewhere, but the company he works for is a joke and get off the phone with him since he can't seem to do anything for me. About 20 minutes later, he calls me back and says that he spoke to Wanda at the local Pensacola terminal and my delivery is scheduled for Monday, 12/4. His voice is all happy like he did me a favor. This is unacceptable. This is yet another day I have to take off of work. I did my due diligence to try to make sure that I was taking a day off when the tool chest would be here already. It was NSD that failed with their incompetence. I can promise you that any executive at NSD would find this unacceptable if they lost an entire day's pay. I have a call tomorrow with the head of transportation at HD about NSD. No way a top company like HD should be doing business with this sham of a logistics company. To Pat at NSD, Unless you plan on getting your pretty suit dirty and jumping in a truck and getting my tool chest delivered to me with the next 12 hours, you are wasting your time even responding to me. Spend your time more wisely and crack some heads at your "logistics" company so you can at least be on par with the 1000's of other logistics companies in the USA. To anyone else reading this, Do not give NSD any of your business unless you want subpar service and angry customers. Take my lead and NEVER order anything else that has to be shipped freight if that company uses NSD. I will no longer be ordering larger items from HD until they are no longer shipping with NSD. Update: I emailed Pat who commented below my tracking number last night on 11/30 along with what NSD can do to make this right. It is now almost noon on 12/1 and not a single response from Pat. About 9am and old white van with 2x4's across the back and side doors to bar them shut pulling an old beat up 12 foot enclosed trailer pulled up to my house. The older gentleman driving was very nice as was the young man helping him. The young man and I had to muscle to tool chest out of the trailer since they did not bring a dolly. The tool chest was in good condition. Glad I received it, but will not be ordering online and shipping freight with HD again unless there are other options for carriers. read more

While the NordicTrack treadmill was delivered on time and undamaged, I was extremely unhappy that the men delivering it neither wore masks nor remained at a minimum distance away from me. I am in a high risk group for Covid-19 and expect that your delivery staff would be instructed on safe social distancing during this pandemic. Both men were polite and responded well to my insistence that they keep their distance, but they appeared to be surprised that it was an issue. That seems to me to be a management issue; they should have received clear instructions from management on how to ensure that they do not transmit this serious and potentially fatal virus to your customers. read more

The first one never showed up even though they said 3 times is was on its way, with 3 weeks of waiting. So we canceled the first and ordered again, was supposed to be delivered Tuesday, they changed it to Wednesday then to Thursday and here we are thursday and still no bed frame. Called but no one ever answers. The machine automatically tells you they will call you back, no one ever does. Amazon says they speak to some one and it's on the way. STILL NOTHING. I ordered a NordicTrack Elliptical from Amazon and was able to pick my deli very date and time. I chose April 5th between 1 and 4. I recieved a confirmation email about my delivery schedule on March 30th. On April 4th I received a phone call asking if they could deliver a little earlier in the day. Being a stay at home mom, I didnt mind at all. They gave me a call at 1145 saying they were about 15 minutes away, asking if it would be okay to deliver my item. They arrived 15 minutes later with positive attitudes and polite demeanor. Not a single issue with my delivery with this company. read more

If I could give the zero stars I would. NSD should stand for No Service Delivery. Calling them means an undeterminable hold without any idea how long you'll be holding and there's no option to have them call you back. I did an online chat and it took 17 minutes for the agent to come online. Again, without any indication how long I'd need to wait to chat with an agent. I received a call from the driver telling me he was 30 minutes away and that no one needed to be home as he would drop the set of French doors outside! I told him under no circumstances should he drop $1850-worth of doors out in the elements since no one is at the house and no one is capable of moving them. Ours is a house that gets rented out during the winter season so I was able to get someone from the rental office to be present to receive the doors and open the garage for the doors to be left inside. The driver showed up ALONE and required the assistance of the rental agent to move them outside the garage. The driver claimed they were too big to go inside the garage door! Absolutely untrue as we had a set of the same size doors delivered from Lowes a few weeks before and they sent two men who got the job done right. The driver left our doors leaning against the house outside! I called Home Depot and told them they can come get their damned doors because I don't want them after dealing with their delivery company. I won't buy from Home Depot again as a result and will never deal with NSD again. Good riddance! read more

We received our exercise bench and treadmill undamaged and intact even though the external appearance of the box has rips and dents obvious from impact during shipping and handling. The items were carefully and completely installed by both guys and they were respectful of our space and property. I did get the 30 minute phone call confirmation prior to delivery as well. If zero stars could be given it would be warranted. I've noted I'm not alone in this review. I work at a public school. We had a delivery scheduled for an Amazon purchase during a specific window yesterday, for which NSD was a "no call no show," by their own agent's admission. However their local delivery terminal logs false tracking reports in order to cover their tracks with Amazon. NSD is just the carrier. I have spent HOURS trying to get through to them, sitting on hold. No one answers the phone, and no one returns calls. After being on hold for an hour, they finally deliver an automated message that says, "we will call you back at this number when it is your turn." And then you are disconnected. (And still no one calls back.) I also spent hours trying to connect with a rep through their online CHAT function. That is when I finally corresponded with someone last night. The difficulty with the chat is that you will receive THIS message ["We're experiencing a technical issue with NSD system. Please know our teams are working hard to get everything up and running We apologize for any inconvenience] DOZENS of times before you reach anyone. Eventually I was told that I would receive a call to reschedule the delivery. That didn't happen, so I began calling again the following day. Same thing... no one answers, no one calls back, and then the creative tracking notes began. One package had been attempted before we opened, another was on a truck for delivery and a 3rd was in a "holding facility." I involved Amazon at this point, and they relayed to them that I had provided faulty address info, thus they had never delivered (despite having logged attempts in the tracking). Amazon confirmed the address (which was of course correct) at which point we concluded they were just lying. No one had tried to deliver anything... still not sure why... and still have received my packages. I advise to never, never use this carrier. I advised Amazon of the same. read more

This is literally the worst company I've ever seen. I missed their delivery attempt last week and trying to reschedule it has been a nightmare. I've called and spoken to 15 people over the past 4 days and all of them tell me someone will call me to schedule it shortly. Then no one calls. Then they tell me they haven't received my package yet. Weird considering I have video footage from my doorbell that clearly shows them attempting to deliver the item. These people are sketchy. I asked to speak to a supervisor, so I was put on hold and then hung up on. I called back and have been on hold for 20 minutes now. These people are frauds. Don't give them your money. You'll never see your package. Update: I was hung up on again. Called back and they told me that every supervisor is in a meeting. I asked for the supervisors supervisor and was told they were in a meeting too. They're liars. They connected me to a supervisor once I told them that I needed their name so I could contact corporate and let them know about my experience with this sketchy supervisor. she was a super bitch and not helpful at all. If you can avoid business with NSD- do at ALL costs. I ordered something from Amazon a month ago. This product was supposed to be delivered by 3/12. Then it says "out for delivery " for yesterday - after having a chat closed out by one rep, another one let me know the truck broke down yesterday and that is why my item wasn't delivered. WHY wasn't I called yesterday? And they only deliver to my area once a week-- so now another week of waiting.. Want to call for help? Good luck with that, too. You won't get anywhere. read more

Horrible delivery company. Not sure why Amazon uses them. Do not notify you of change in delivery time and then you cannot get through to them for update either by phone or chat. WORST EVER read more

The initial delivery (16 March 2021) of my NordicTrack elliptical was painful to say the least. The driver parked in my driveway without my permission and nearly hit my car. He was rude and when I asked him to call a supervisor, he stated "I don't have time for that!" I called NordicTrack to complain and paid an additional $121 to have the elliptical re-delivered and assembled in my basement. The second delivery was on 20 March 2021. The second delivery crew was courteous and promptly assembled the equipment. The assembly appears to be correct. read more

The worst delivery experience. The furniture I ordered have been sitting in my town at bad for over a week (fat pat promised delivery date) and I can't get anyone on the phone to find out if or when these will ever be delivered. read more

I received my first order from nsd the week. Boxes were damaged and opened, packing trash left in driveway and items were all over some in porch a large box in front yard, opened and damaged. I was pulling in when they were pulling out so items were not herej unattended. Delivery guy wrote 5 boxes delivered, bill of lading shows 4, and we actually received 3. Currently looking for shower doors somewhere in dock they said????..unbelievably bad service.on delivery. I am doing a huge amount of business with Home Fepot but will ask for a different carrier next time or buy elsewhere. read more
