NSD was in possession of my package for 13 days and unable to provide any updated information about its whereabouts, its status, or when it would be delivered. After missing work to stay home and wait all day for the package to be delivered during its scheduled time, I engaged in an hour-long online chat with a rep who was doing her very best to get things figured out, I was asked to wait one to two additional days for the Account Manager to initiate a Dock Sweep at the terminal to look for the item and update the status. After two days, there was still no update in the tracking information. Once again, I initiated a chat to try to find out what was going on with my package and after only a brief bit of dialog, I received a phone call from a rep named Ali who was extremely helpful and compassionate to my situation, located my item within minutes, updated the online tracking status, and scheduled a new delivery time for the moring of the following day! THANK YOU to Ali for his professional demeanor in handling the very frustrating situation that was created by the mistakes made during the NSD shipment receiving process!!! NSD (Non-Stop Delivery) DELIVERED ONLY 1 OF 3 items in my HOME DEPOT order, amounting to a ** LOSS OF $800 ** They dropped off a bathtub on my driveway, but somehow failed to drop off the TWO Kohler TOILETS I purchased. And btw, they just drop the items off on your driveway whether you are home or not. When questioned by HOME DEPOT, they said they delivered everything, and HOME DEPOT sided with them. The delivery guys were nice but acted like they couldn't get in and out fast enough. They seemed surprised that I wanted my MIRROR hung on the wall and didn't have the tools to do it. It was a $250 white glove delivery charge that got me a box brought in and my mirror placed on a stand and out they went. No instructions given on how to even turn on. I'm not convinced this is a real company. I purchased an item from Home Depot which was damaged during a (UPS) shipment. When I contacted them to schedule a return they let me know that a logistics company would reach out asap. I received an email the next day asking to schedule the pickup. I responded to the email, then followed up, then followed up, then followed up a total of four times with no response. Next I started calling, I've left multiple phone numbers, sat on hold listening to their truly demonic hold music only to be hung up on EIGHT TIMES. Ordered a shed from Home Depot, and NSD delivered the wrong product. I cancelled the order promptly, and have made numerous calls to Home Depot and NSD to pick up the wrong shed so I can get my refunds. It's been a month and a half and the wrong shed is still sitting in my side yard. Every time NSD would tell me that they would schedule the pick up in 3-5 business days. What a lie! So this is the first time I used this serious, and never has any delivery service let me down so much. I got a call on Friday that my item was out for delivery and I would be getting it on Sat., Apr. 17th around 9pm to 1pm. I stayed home all day canceling my plans so the heavy item can be placed in my garage. Well never got a 30 min call and they never arrived. This was an item from Hope Depot. I tried calling them around 5pm, never got an answer and was told 8am to 12pm window. The package never came and its after 7:30pm. Very disappointed with NSD and Home Depot for me planning a day. I am starting to think I got scammed based on others having the same issues and never getting them items. I will keep pressing them and will press a lawsuit if I need to. I ordered a patio dining set from Home Depot not knowing what delivery company they used nor did I realize the horrible reviews about NSD online. When I saw the reviews, I was convinced I would never get my item and was very nervous. Luckily, I had a positive experience. It delivered on the original date that Home Depot said it would; it delivered 2 hours late than the delivery window, but it didn't matter since it didn't need a signature. The delivery men brought it up as close as they could get to my garage door and no pieces were broken. So while I had a positive experience with NSD I'd be very nervous using them again due to the other reviews. I feel like I simply lucked out based on these reviews. read more

FAIL FAIL FAIL....How do you lose an 8ft x 7 ft door...TWICE. Terrible company and terrible customer service.

This company is awful. First, they missed our scheduled delivery date. Never got a call to reschedule anything. We had to call them. When we did, they said they would deliver it in three days from the original date. Then when I was randomly checking the tracking updates, I noticed that the package had gone out for delivery but that it had already returned to the warehouse because we refused delivery! Well that's impossible since we were home all day, never saw a truck, never got a phone call; nothing! It took us TWO DAYS to get in touch with NSD to get an explanation. Btw, their customer service department is clueless. They get no communication from the delivery side of the business so they can't update you with ANY info. When we finally got in touch with them, they said that the item was never out for delivery but instead had arrived damaged and they were already sending it back to the seller. So I contacted the seller and they said that they never received a notice that it was damaged and that instead, a delivery was attempted. At this point, I had no idea what was going on or what the truth was, so I decided to stop dealing with NSD altogether. I told the seller I wanted a replacement item shipped right away and to NOT use NSD as the shipper. The seller agreed and said he was passing the negative experience on up to his management. They are very unprofessional and have missed the delivery date for my couch now two days in a row without even a phone call. when i called them they lied and said it wasn't on the truck the first day and now they are saying it was because the truck was broken down. i had taken now two days off work to get a couch they may or may not show up. while delivery was made within specified time frame, there was no call 20 minutes prior to arrival nor was there any notification when they arrived. The company claimed to have delivered my order. But I have never received anything. I was told that the delivery person would call me thirty minutes before delivery, and there was no phone call. I was home all day, with my security camera on which did not record any delivery. Dealing with the company about the missing order is a nightmare. Nobody ever answers phone calls, or online chats. A day later some representative called me asking if everything is ok. I confirmed the delivery was great. Then two days later at 7am they called again asking if the delivery is ok. Worst delivery company ever. My boyfriends furniture was ordered over a month ago. At first the order date kept getting pushed back and then the furniture "was lost" so it was re ordered and the same thing is currently happening again. They give a time and then it gets pushed back and no one ever delivers. It is also impossible to speak to a person on the phone.Also, they do not allow pick up from the terminals we've tried since getting them to deliver has been a hassle. I would advise companies to not use this delivery company because it is not reliable. read more

Ordered a Nordictrack Treadmill that the freight shipping Company "Convey" picked up on 27 February warehouse and delivered to the Richmond dock of NSD. After calling NSD on 10 MARCH they stated it did not arrive. I double checked with Nordictrack and requested a dock search. After performing a dock search they did find it arrived damaged and another treadmill had to be shipped. Now a new treadmill was shipped out from the Georgia warehouse on 12 MAR. That did not arrive to the NSD Shipping dock in Richmond until the 20th according to Nordictrack. BUT THE COMPANY "NSD Shipping" STATED ADAMANTLY THAT IT DID NOT ARRIVE!!! I requested a dock search based on the last experience, They refused until Nordictrack requested a doc search on the 22nd of MARCH. I tried calling daily since the 22 trying to see if they found it in their dock and on 29 MARCH (Fri) they said they found it on the 26th it was mislabeled. You would think this was the end, BUT NO! They said I would get a call on Monday or Tuesday to schedule final delivery. On Monday NOTHING, on Tuesday NOTHING, so I called Tuesday afternoon, NSD stated it hadn't arrived, I said but Your website, the SHIPNSD.com WEBSITE states it has arrived and waiting for final delivery Estimated 3 April. After much complaining they said they found the entry and scheduled for 5 Friday between 11-3 (I'll Take off a day from work) and NSD would give me a call 30 min call letting me know in advance and explained the longer process is due to the fact they have to find qualified drivers that could also setup the treadmill per the agreement. Final chapter 5 April- (over 40 days later), or so I thought... As I wait at 1:30 PM I called NSD that stated there was NO record of the final delivery being scheduled, then a supervisor at Chantilly, VA states that yes he called Richmond and they did schedule it for today, but cannot track the product or tell me if it has left, but that the Richmond dock said it was scheduled for today and truck has left. Not only that but we are still within the shipping window. A NEW FINAL CHAPTER... I called NSD again at 4pm and NSD stated that it was not on their schedule. I asked to be placed to a supervisor. This time I made sure to get his name and number. Supervisor Robert Supervisor #3291 stated it was NOT scheduled and apologized stating that they said it was a computer glitch and that they would be giving me a call on Monday to have it scheduled for later that week. My tracking shows my item ships on 11th arrives in my city on 16th. I call on the 25th obviously worried about it. I was promised a call back, but it never came. She was at least concerned and seemed to want to try. The 28th I call and was told I was scheduled for the 3rd of next month, when all along the 1st was the latest date to arrive. This guy was so rude and did not care at all about my package or satisfaction. Home Depot orders can be denied when they try to deliver and Home Depot will fully reimburse shipping. This company is literally the worst shipping company in this planet! I ordered a table and chairs through my work and they used this incompetent company to ship my items. I paid for white glove service to have these guys build my items as well. I have been getting the runaround since day one. No one contacted me to schedule a delivery date and had to reach out to them in order to get it set up. I still have not been contacted to schedule that date. I noticed on the tracking website that my order status said "exception has occurred". Again, I had to email them to figure out what this meant. These people damaged my items and had the gall to tell me to contact my place of purchase. Not once did I receive a call or an email explaining more about this. Thank God my place of purchase is sending out a new table and chairs. I tried to request that the new items will not use this company for shipping. I'm a doctor, and I would be crucified if I treated my patients in this manner. Like I told this company, I understand that this is not your item or your money, but it is mine. The fact that they are nonchalant about the situation is appalling and this company needs to be shut down! I will make sure that I raise hell about the services (or lack of) that I have received!! Update: to make matters worse, I had my place of purchase ship a new replacement table. This shipping company had the balls to try and deliver the damaged table passing it off as the replacement. My husband noticed and I immediately refused the order and told them to send it back! Also, I prepaid for white glove service and the delivery guys wanted my husband to give them extra cash to assemble the table (telling us that we only paid for the boxes to be dropped off only)!! Still waiting for delivery. Today, March 24th is the 3rd rescheduled delivery date. It is 7:41pm and the delivery was suppose to be between 9am and 1pm today.... I am still waiting! Just checked the tracking information and it still shows "out for delivery." Customer service? Call the customer service number and they are constantly having technical issues.... so basically there is no customer service. I would recommend that if you order something (our order was from Home Depot) you verify what delivery company they use and if they tell you NSD and they won't ship it using a different company, then don't order from them! I have yet to reach out to Home Depot, will be doing that first thing tomorrow! read more

These guys did a much lower than average job. First of all they broke one of my landscape lights in my front yard. My treadmill was not fully assembled and had screws that were still loose and missing and they did not let NordicTrack know of some of the parts that were wrong. Treadmill is still not fully assembled. I paid the extra $250 to have the white glove delivery and set up and unfortunately that did not happen. read more

UPDATE 03/24: I contacted Amazon and I sent an email to extramile@shipnsd.com. Amazon was able to get in touch with the warehouse, but when they finally answered, they said they were closed so they couldn't help. One 03/23, I received an email from Marshall and a call from Robert. Robert was very empathetic and gave me a direct line to call if I didn't hear from the warehouse to reschedule the delivery. I got a call from the warehouse who rescheduled the delivery for today, between 1p-5p. At 2:30p I received a call that the delivery was 30 mins away, and the driver arrived about 20 minutes later. The delivery guy was going to leave the package outside, but I told him I selected for the delivery to be delivered in the house. He struggled a bit (there was only one delivery person; although there was a woman there attempting to help), and at one point he looked to see if he could remove my door from the hinges. So the delivery is complete, and I appreciate Robert and Marshall's help. I ordered a love seat from Amazon on 03/09, with a delivery date of 03/22 between 9a-12n. It is now 4:15p and I have not been contacted, nor have I been able to reach anyone via the customer service number or the chat. I've been sitting at home waiting all day for this package to arrive and trying to contact someone. You would think that, if the delivery was delayed, the recipient would be notified. The frustrating part is that the item is in the local warehouse that is literally less than 30 minutes from my home. Not really sure what going on. BTW, I've been listening to the hold music on the customer service line for 46 minutes and counting...while writing this review. I've never experienced delivery service like this. NSD delivered a ProForm 5000 treadmill to our house. The treadmill was contained in one box that was over 300 lbs. in weight. The delivery was timely and the box was in perfect condition. However, it would have been better if someone would have advised us when they arrived that they were there to deliver the unit. We needed the unit to be placed just inside the garage instead of just outside of it blocking both cars from getting in or out. It would have only taken another 15 feet and my wife and I could have avoided 30 minutes of manipulating the box to get it in the garage. For such an important delivery, to have No notice that they were there is unacceptable from a service perspective which is why our rating is 2 stars out of 5. Even UPS and Prime drivers at least ring the bell to give us notice when they deliver things to our house. NSD drivers should be taught to do the same. Marty H. read more

I ordered a sofa from Amazon and it was shipped by NSD. It was supposed to be delivered March 19th. I heard nothing from them, I called Amazon, who gave zero help. I checked NSD's website and use the tracking number Amazon provided and I see that my delivery has been reschedule for March 23rd. Who did they schedule with??? It certainly wasn't me. I haven't received any phone calls about my delivery being late, let alone about rescheduling. I got the number for NSD and I'm currently still on the the phone, after 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer. The website says the phone lines are open until 7pm, but it seems like that isn't true. Since I have to be at home for this delivery, how are they assuming I am going to be home March 23rd, which is a Tuesday, at 9am. Most people work at that time. I guess I have to take off another day of work, for a couch that may or may not show up. I'm annoyed. read more

Our delivery consisted of 5 boxes. When only 3 were delivered we called numerous times to get an update and no one ever answered the phone. A few days later they showed up with another box. When we attempted to ask the driver about the fifth and final box he quickly jumped into the truck and sped off. The driver made a u-turn and when he passed our home he flipped us off and laughed. The men were courteous enough and provided a call prior to delivery. They offered to place the item, which was heavy, in the location of our choosing. The compaint is that they seem to have strategically held and placed the package so that my husband did not see the obvious damage on the outside of the delivery box until after they departed and my husband started opening the package. Forunately for us, the contents were not damaged. Be warned!! It is essential that you check all sides of your package, any package worth much, before accepting delivery because if you fail to note the damage on the outside, you will have no recourse for damage on the inside. read more
