Did not get a " guaranteed 30 min phone call prior to delivery" there was 2 guys who had came to deliver the tv but they decided to DRAG the box from the street to the front door. I was hoping my case with this company was rare but it seems like this is a common occurrence. I ordered a bed frame from Home Depot and when it arrived it was broken beyond repair. It's frustrating because I waited so long for it to arrive and now it is out of stock and I can't get a replacement. I called Home Depot to ship it back and NSD emailed me saying to reach out at my earliest convenience to schedule a pickup time, I responded right away and got a generic "thank for you reaching out to NSD" I've called almost every day the past 10 days wait on hold long enough to get kicked off and told we will call you when an agent is available. I did finally have someone call me at 6:30pm MST two days ago and she said that she said that the scheduling department was close but she put on my file and they would call me within 24 hrs it's been almost 48hrs and nothing. This is getting aggravating because they are going to cause me to be out $1000 and stuck with a bed that is unusable. I have learned my lesson that I will not be shopping with any company that Ships through NSD. read more

I have been waiting for a call from them to schedule a delivery that they received at the local terminal last week (according to the shipper). I've tried calling, email and their chat function and can't reach a live person. I've left the chat box open for 24 hours at one point and then scrolled up and saw no reply. Phone calls to their number stay on hold for 15 minutes and then disconnect. According to the shipper they should have contacted me within 2 days of the truck arriving last week, but that time period has come and gone. read more

Honestly I had a pretty good experience - I ordered an elliptical from Amazon. They were 1.5 hours past the scheduled time but in the world of contractors that's pretty darn good. I got a 30 min text ahead of time and the two gentlemen were very nice and carried it up my flight of stairs no problem. I was a bit terrified when they didn't show up in the time frame and I came here and saw the reviews but I seemed to be lucky. I live in the cleveland area so not sure if that makes a difference? I had a package pick up submitted to NSD 2 weeks ago and was told by the product company that NSD would contact me within 2 business days to schedule the pick up. It's been 12 days and I haven't heard from them yet. I have called 5 times and emailed 3 times. Each email comes back with the same automated "we'll reply within 24 hours" response. It was supposed to be delivered 10 days ago and has been sitting (probably in a warehouse) for a week in a town 30 minutes from my house. I went to Lowe's in person (a month to the day after ordering it) to cancel it and lowes called the company and was able to get someone on the phone. The customer service representative from NSD lied and tried to say that they had been in contact with me on the phone that day. Thankfully, that Lowe's has already had problems with this company, knew their patterns and that I was telling the truth that I have had no real contact from them. We ordered a treadmill from Amazon that weighed 340 pounds. NSD provided continuous updates on the status of our order. They texted us when they were 30 minutes out. They were on time which is especially impressive during an ice storm. The delivery men handled our box carefully and placed exactly where we wanted. This was a huge and heavy box. They were careful not to bump the walls and took care coming through the door. They were polite and efficient. In and out in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend them. I followed my tracking from Seattle to Riviera Florida ( South FL) which is 20 mins from the delivery piont. Then 2 days later they send it to Miami and now its been there for 3 days. Called them 2 times and they say theres nothing they can do about it. They say I have to wait till the 21st of June, 6 Days away. It was 20 mins from my house 5 days ago. I ordered a steel door from Home Depot about two months ago. I received an email stating my door was shipped on October 8th 2018. NSD only has access to telephones and smoke signals apparently. I'm not sure what kind of system they're using but they refuse or are not able to email. While I'm aware this is a personal issue of mine, I despise talking on the phone, one because it takes too long to accomplish easy tasks and two, that's my preferred contact method, I can get to each task as I have time. I'm the customer and I really don't think I'm asking a lot. Send me an email so I have a record in case I'm multitasking or driving and can't take a note. I own and run 4 companies, if I talked to everyone that called me (included the spam auto dialing companies), I would get far less done as I'm sure most can agree. Every other shipping company I deal with from UPS, to my engine freight companies, to my car transport companies and even USPS for Pete's sake email or text. I contacted Home Depot (via text thank you very much) to inform them that my shipment hadn't been delivered. The Home Depot rep was very nice and got a hold of NSD to schedule my delivery. I let her know that my preferred method of contact was text or email and she said she'd happily inform them. Not sure who runs this company but if any of my customers said they'd rather be contacted a certain way, we'd do everything in our power to comply. To add insult to injury, I then received 4 phone calls within an 8 minute period (picture attached) from this inconsiderate company. I have since cancelled the order due to their poor business practices and I will be going with a different retailer that doesn't use NSD to do their deliveries. It makes me chuckle thinking about how many times I would be transferred if I called NSD to complain about this issue. I'm sure far longer than this 2 minute review took me to write. After a week of waiting for a phone call, I did receive one. They called and had a opening the next morning. They about 45 minutes before dropping it off and the crew was very professional and fast. I would have originally rated this company a 5 star if there was just better communication. NSD could not get a hold of the distribution center anytime they called. So of course that worried me having spent 1500 bucks on an item. And seeing everyone else's reviews made my stomach turn! Had they just have been able to get through to them and set up an appointment (even if the appointment was a week out or so) I would have been completely satisfied. The drivers stayed in contact which was great. Showed up 30 mins late which is still not a big deal. I paid for them to put NordicTrak bike together which they did. However when I went to operate it the next day they assembled wrong. They put a wire in the wrong place and it pinched/broke so have spent a week with iFit trying to get replacement and technician to come out and fix. Was told today it will take a month to get part. So essentially no bike and who knows if it will end up getting fixed. read more

Horrible company. All started June 2nd when the package arrived about an hour away from my house to their "last mile" checkpoint.. whatever that is.. Amazon tracking said it would be delivered the 4th. NSD requires that they call you and schedule your delivery appointment. So I was expecting a call on the 3rd. No call. The 4th came and went, no shipment. On the 6th I decided to call after seeing it hasn't moved or updated since the 2nd. (Keep in mind- This is the one and only time I got a hold of them on my own without having to go thru an Amazon rep to directly connect us) NSD rep was rude as hell, basically told me they'll call me when its ready and all she can do is send an email because the warehouse is closed. The next day, the 7th, I still receive no call, so I decide to call amazon for the first time and they connect us together on a three way call. The Amazon rep asked blatantly "will the customer receive a call to schedule the shipment within 24 hours?" To which the NSD rep replied with "yes ma'am". 24 hours later, today, no call from NSD. But Amazon calls me back to check up on the situation! I explain I still haven't gotten a call. We call together AGAIN to which the NSD reps tells us "the route is being planned and they will call to schedule before 6 TODAY." Never received that call. Will be getting another call from Amazon tomorrow to check up on the situation again. To which if they cannot schedule with me right then and there, I will be canceling the order on their dime. Have fun lugging my purchase back wherever you got it. EDIT: Finally called to schedule the delivery, 2 and a half hours past the 6 hour deadline THAT THEY GAVE THEMSELVES. How pathetic. read more

Our delivery was scheduled for between 3:30 and 6:30. Around 1:00, I received a cryptic text image from an unknown number saying that someone would be "at the location" in about 30 to 35 minutes. I assumed that had something to do with the delivery, so I called my husband and asked if he could be there for the delivery. I ordered a table from Home Depot that was supposed to be delivered on the 2nd. The delivery was delayed 3 times before it actually went out for delivery. Of course, it was scheduled for a day I was traveling for work and nobody would be at my house for a week to get the package. I called the company all day trying to reschedule it but couldn't get a hold of anyone. I made the decision to arrive late to my business trip so I could wait for the delivery. The delivery window came and went and I never heard from the driver. So now I've wasted my entire day and affected my job for no reason. They do not return calls about deliveries received.....I was on hold for more than 30 mins -- when I had the store I purchased product from intervene (after many, many tries myself) a call was scheduled.... The call came rang twice, before I could answer they hung up and, of course, since they hung up prematurely, they couldn't leave a voicemail! Again I tried to call and was again on hold for more than 30 minutes! Looks like I am part of a growing list of problems with NSD. I ordered an elliptical machine from Dick's Sporting Goods on Nov 21. After a few days of no information I started trying to find a status. On November 30 I used the chat feature on Dick's website and asked for tracking information and was told at first they didn't even know who the carrier was. As with the other reviews here I was told "we'll call you back." No word by December 2 so I chatted back. Different rep. but same answer, "we'll call you back." Nothing so finally I called Dick's "Customer Service" number and was given a tracking number and link for the shipment and guess who is the carrier, NSD. Per the tracking info on their website, my shipment was picked up in CA on November 22 and made it's way to FL and then to NC (about 2 hours from me) and then was sent back to CA. Called Dick's back to find out what the h*** was going on with my machine, which by the way had already been billed to my CC and I was supposed to have "free home delivery". They gave me the number to the NSD home office in VA and I called. NSD told me that the shipment didn't return to CA but was still in their Newton, NC terminal. The terminal would call me to set up a delivery. As of today, December 9, no call, no delivery and no "customer service". I called again today and was told the shipment is still in Newton but the home office can't even get the terminal to respond, won't answer the phone or email. I'm like everyone else in these reviews. I just want my machine, nothing more. Why can't anybody do what they promise anymore? Maybe this review will get a response like a few on here appear to have resolved their problems. Supposedly my machine has been sitting in a warehouse less than 2 hours from me for over a week and I can't even get anybody to talk to me. Looks like this is my last adventure with Dick's and NSD. Dick's, if you want to keep your customers I'd seriously consider changing your shipping partners. read more

NSD has failed to complete pickup of our item that was purchased through Home Depot. We have scheduled pickup on 3 different dates, each time those dates come and go without any pickup. The item has been on our front porch for a WEEKS. We've spoken with Home Depot and NSD on multiple occasions and were provided a return number. We've spoken with the local terminal for NSD and scheduled pickup and each time they don't show up. We've been calling them nonstop over the last 3 weeks and have been lied to over and over again. They've recently told us that the pickup order has been cancelled because they couldn't get in touch with us, again all lies. We called Home depot back and started a brand new return for this same item and provided NSD with that number to schedule pickup AGAIN. I phoned NSD once again on Monday December 7, 2020 and they told me they couldn't get in touch with the local terminal and they would email to get them to reach out to me same day. This didn't happen. Called back December 8, 2020 and spoke with another rep from NSD, Tarrenzio. He tried calling the terminal to get me scheduled, and of course the terminal didn't pick up the phone. I asked to escalate this AGAIN and was put on hold, a supervisor came on, Barbara, and told me the same lies that I've been told for weeks. She said they would escalate to the account manager and I would be contacted by the local terminal (she said the account manager doesn't speak with customers). I have recorded these calls, emails and text messages received by the local terminal and will file this complaint with BBB to get resolution and will call Home Depot and my bank to be refunded for this item. Also, if NDS responds to this complaint on BBB do not believe what they say. If they actually resolve this, I will make another post stating that I have received a resolution. read more

UPDATE: I'm changing my review to 3 stars because my package was delivered. Not on time, but it was delivered. Worst customer experience ever. I ordered a treadmill that was shipped through NSD. It was scheduled for Friday, but THEY NEVER CAME. My tracking said it was "Out for Delivery" but no one showed up OR called to cancel/reschedule. The next business day (Monday) I went to work and the tracking showed they attempted to deliver it to my house. But again, No One Called to inform me of this! I've called Norictrack to complain and they refunded my $200 "white glove delivery" since I have not received that quality of service. It's been rescheduled for this Friday (1 full week after original date). We'll see what happens. I'm sure they will be out of business soon. read more

The delivery people were supposed to assemble the treadmill. I paid extra for assembly. I had to tell them then they had to call their boss. That took about 15 minutes for their boss to call back and give them the ok to assemble. They put it together facing the opposite direction of what I wanted. They did not make sure it was working before they left. When I tried to use it there is a loud grinding noise coming from the treadmill belt. I am returning it for a few. read more
