She even placed a disposable ring where the piercing would go so I could check that I liked the planned placement since you need to wait until the piercing is healed to wear a ring. Literally the only place i'll get piercings at, i have never had a bad experience here. I have gotten all of my piercings done at htc besides the first time i went somewhere else in california for my septum and, surprise surprise, i had to go to htc to get it redone. (they did it so much better btw). I had Torin stretch my lobes and change out my helix jewelry and he was so great. Super nice, super friendly, super knowledgeable, makes sure you're comfortable, the whole nine yards. I don't trust anybody but htc with my piercings and i've been especially liking uptown htc. If you're newer to piercings this is definitely the place for you too, super welcoming nor intimidating. read more

It was an interesting experience. I had an appointment scheduled for 1:30PM today and I totally understand a little wait but it ended up taking nearly an hour. I wasn't sure if there were walk ins before me or what, but I think appointments should be a priority. As soon I walked in, I made to sure to confirm the jewelry I wanted and the piercings I was getting that day. The person at the front told me after tax it would come out to around 130$. Tell me why... when I walk up to pay... the worker tells me that the total is $167.23! I wasn't going to make a scene... but are you serious... for clarification... I just got my doubles pierced on both ears and I'm pretty sure I got the most basic jewelry.. lol kinda disappointed read more

I went alone to get my Ashley (inverted labret) and I tend to get a bit dizzy whenever I get a new piercing. The staff was very understanding and very caring. Oh no I loved this location but looks like new staff, I was acknowledged when I walked in and was advised I would be helped in just a moment I waited 15 minutes to be helped which I was fine with there was 2 people ahead of me, a group of 3 women came in after me and when it was my turn to be helped she asked us who was next I said me. I will only ever go to HTC in Phoenix, and I live in Tucson. I got my septum done at this location yesterday; the boy at the front desk ? AN ANGEL. Marilyn, the one who pierced my nose, ALSO AN ANGEL. They were both soooo nice and answered all my questions and made me feel super comfortable. I'm so happy with my piercing, and I have already recommended a lot of my friends to this place. The price was also super reasonable and awesome. Worth every dime and I will ONLY be going to HTC locations in the future. The parlor was also SUUUUPPER clean and sanitary, and very well kept. Our 5 year old daughter had been asking to have her ears pierced for quite some time. After doing some research, we came across Marilyn at HTC Uptown. It was a great experience! If you are having your child's ears pierced, you will want to call ahead for an appointment. Kids appointments are done first thing on Saturdays when the shop is quiet and there are some good Disney tunes playing. :) Parents/Guardians need to bring their own photo ID and a birth certificate for the child. The minimum age is 5. All in, the bill was around $150. This price included the sitting fee for the piercing, the actual earrings (They attach in the front of the earlobe vs. the back and the back is flat so they don't poke! Also, they won't cause allergic reactions.), and a special soap for cleansing. Just a kind suggestion, gratuities are a good thing! ;) Especially for someone who takes great care of your kiddo like Marilyn does. Marilyn was fantastic! She was so welcoming and kind. She was wonderful at explaining every single thing she did and why she was doing it. From cleaning our daughter's ears to the actual piercing, she walks through everything thoroughly. Same with instructions for aftercare. All around it was just a great experience. Would highly recommend bringing your child here first, versus having them done in a mall and then potentially needing them redone later. read more

After reading reviews I called and made appointment for my daughter to get her ears pierced .. when we arrived we forgot her birth certificate so we rescheduled . Next appointment we arrived and they suggested she not get them pierced until she was done with swim lessons .. so 3rd times a charm we went today and my daughter picked out an adorable pair of purple flower earrings .. Marilyn was as great as everyone else has said she was .. throughout the whole process HTC was great I'm really glad and totally recommend them as a place to get your child's ear pierced so much nicer and personable then going to the mall and having a clerk pierce them .. they have great customer service and definitely will go back again !! What a great studio! They took time in between piercings to sanitize the waiting room and procedure rooms. It made my daughter and I feel very safe. My 13 yo daughter had to get her ears re-pierced from a botched Claire's job. The piercing professional took time to measure out placement and explain what he would be doing. I chose to come to this studio because I saw their TikToks and then looked at their amazing work on Instagram. I had a wonderful experience here. They are taking precautions for COVID by having a limited capacity inside the studio, having everyone wear masks, and hand sanitizer at the door. Today, I came in with a five month old rook and double helixes that I had pierced at another studio and were all very swollen. I was hoping that someone could help me find out what was causing the problem. They determined that I needed longer jewelry to accommodate for the swelling. Yoel and Emily helped me pick out jewelry that I liked and Dylan changed out the jewelry. Everyone here is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. HTC is a great place, don't get me wrong. I got my tragus pierced here and it's doing fine, but my experience here wasn't as positive as my experiences in other shops that do piercings. The jewelry is really expensive, because the charge is $20 per stone. And then the extra charge for the stud kind of sucks, especially when they want you to come in and get a shorter stud after the swelling goes down. I know that quality piercing is expensive, but I've gotten quality piercings done at shops that are not specialty piercing (HTC) and have had a much better experience overall. read more

I will go nowhere else for piercing needs. There is no need to. I am always welcomed promptly and happily, I always leave with what I want and need, and my ears are handled with care. The shop is clean, sterility is taken so seriously that I didn't even get to see my jewelry up close until it was going in my ears (I was shown color choices in larger glass, mine are still only 8g), and everything is done right in front of you so that you can say confidently that hands, tools, and jewelry were new and clean. I went in twice with a friend (a septum and a philtrum), twice for jewelry upgrades (10g and 8g), and I'm going back for May Madness to have another set of piercings done. I worked with someone new every time and I was always treated with respect. Today they even offered to let me bring my bike in with me so I don't have to abandon it outside. Maybe that only speaks to me because I'm a cyclist, but that really got me. If you want a shop dedicated entirely to piercings and entirely to doing piercings RIGHT, you look no further than HTC. read more
