Couldn't recommend this place more!! I've been here twice--once to get my septum jewelry changed & once to get a conch piercing. I can't remember the price of the jewelry change, but the conch was $100. DJ did both, and he's the best!! Had my first tattoo done here, and was super unimpressed. The artist Matt, was really personable and fun to talk to, but the tattoo itself left a lot to be desired. After 2 weeks, the bottom of the ring tattoo was completely faded and almost gone. The top was super faded as well but still visible. Aftercare instructions were followed to a tee. The part that bothers me the most, and the reason I'm writing this review, is the dot on my middle finger. He literally missed his intended area of where the tattoo was. He didn't say a word about it either after it happened. No sorry, no nothing. Paid him $150 for this tattoo too. I ended up going to a different artist, who actually helped me out big time to fix the disaster, and even helped me cover up the dot where Matt missed. Overall, pretty disappointing for a first experience. Not sure if this is technique or not, but the 2nd artists that fixed the tattoo for me, didn't hurt nearly as bad as when Matt did it. read more

My best friend and I both get terrible migraines, we decided to get the daith piercing to alleviate it. The owner was so kind and gave us all the info. He stayed open a little later for us so we could both get it done after work. We both instantly got relief as soon as he pierced our ears. Came in for an infected conch piercing that had keloids on front and back. They were super professional and informative and cleaned up my piercing for me!!! Keloids are completely gone now and my piercing literally looks as good as new. He gave me good information on what to use to clean it and keep the keloids from coming back. I've gone in before for replacement jewelry, and recently went in to have my nipple piercings corrected since they were pierced crooked previously by another piercer. Darryl the owner is WONDERFUL, very personable and makes you feel super comfortable even when it's a more private piercing. Came to DJ for a nose piercing and I can truly say that I have never thought it would be such an enjoyable experience!! Throughout the entire time, he was explained the process in detail, ensured that I was comfortable, and made sure that I left satisfied. And I definitely did! Piercing was quick and easy with a slight pinch, but absolutely no regrets. He also walked me through the cleaning process to help against infections. A couple days later, I managed to knock my piercing out of my nose (lol oops) and with a quick call and visit, DJ was able to put another one in, with a small cost of course, but no problem. Alright this guy is a little rough around the edges but very honest and transparent. Hear me out. Soooo on May 4 (may the 4th be with you) I went to Halo piercing to have a few piercings done, (this part is important) to include a nose piercing. I was very specific about the type of jewelry I put in for the best healing. Side note, never get a piece of jewelry that has prongs that hold a stone because it will snag on everything. I have really long hair and 2 kids. So I knew I wanted something with a smooth edge, like I said, for the best healing. They had a ton of options, so I will give them that. I also told the guy (Frank) that I was probably going to switch it out for a hoop. But I didn't want to start with a hoop because it will take longer to heal. Cool cool cool, no problem the guy says. Sooo fast forward to the other day. I set up an appointment online. It's been a little over 3 months. Their website said 2-4 months for healing. I get there, it's super busy and packed for my 3 pm appointment. So I do my paperwork. And as a returning customer thought it would be a quick thing. The service fee was to remove the stupid stud and put in the hoop was $10. Super. I planned to give the guy a $50 tip for his time since my dumb ass couldn't get the stud out to do it myself. Well as I'm going to pay (before the appointment) they ask to look at it, and they tell me usually I can't do it till 4 months. But she looks at it and was like "ya, it looks really good but let me go ask Frank". I was like okay?!? She goes back, talks to him, and then comes back and said "sorry your goons have to wait till September". So me being the timid moon confrontational person I am, I just said okay that's fine. Let me just get the jewelry and I'll do it myself. I ask her to give me the simplest ring that will fit. I show her the piercing again. She gets what should fit and I buy it in two colors. Now I leave and go home. I do eat any stubborn person does and try to take the stupid stud out again. I spent like 20min trying to get it out. Wouldn't come out. So I did the next best stubborn thing and start looking for another piercer. That's where this guy comes into play, also forgive me because I don't think I ever got your name and I'm bad with names so I could have also forgotten. The first place that comes up on my Google search that's open was Extreme Tattoo and tanning parlor. Didn't seem like they did piercing right off the bat, so I called. When I call I ask if they have a piercer, he's like "i am" I was like sweet can you switch out this nose stud for a hoop. He's like "ya, when" I said how about today? He's killin me at this point. He's like "ya, when". I asked if now was okay because they are only up the road. He said "yes, head over now". Cool cool cool. So I jam on over there. I open the door and I'm greeted with the typical "wear a mask sign" and the lights are kinda off. I then walk up to the desk and spill my guts and told him I have jewelry. He looks at my nose piercing and was like "man, that's pierced super high, your jewelry might not be big enough but I will stretch it and make it fit". I was like let's do it. So this man gets the stud out in seconds. He's like girl that shit was in there tight no wonder you couldn't get it out. He then proceeds to stretch the hell out of my jewelry and eventually after some back and forth gets it in. But barely. When I say barely, the end up the hoop barley goes under the flare of my nostril. So I was like, nope, I don't like it... everything is gonna snag on it. Give me something that will fit. So we go with a slightly smaller gauge and larger diameter. This man gets it in super fast. And I sit up and take a peek. And I'm not sure how I feel about how large it is. I kept telling him I have a big . But he's like honey stop saying that, the spot he pierced you at was really high, it has to be this diameter. So I was like I'll wear it for a few days and see how I feel. If I don't like it after a few days I'll just come back, take it out, and have him pierce me in the opposite side and start the whole process over. He's like just give it some , it's new, and it will take some getting used to... I ended up purchasing his wound cleaning solution, + 30 for him to glove up and do the damn thing + the new jewelry, + 40 tip. Just because he was super honest, took his time, and did what I wanted without hesitation. You have definitely earned a forever customer and I have found a tattoo artist to finish my sleeve!! Thanks a bunch man for making my day. I know you said to write a review and say how "unprofessional" you were. But my friend, I have found that in life some of the people that seem a little rough around the edges are the best people.
