I've been getting my bronze on at this Sunchain location for longer than I can even remember, to be totally honest. I would guess over a decade at this point! They've always been a high quality, clean, pleasant, and professional place to use, so I've never had to consider looking elsewhere. The staff remembers you after meeting you once or twice, so you'll feel welcomed in no time. Plus they are always kind enough to let me squeeze in as their closing time approaches (I hate being THAT guy, but it's tough to sneak out of the house with toddler bed time duties etc). If you're in the South Scottsdale or even North Tempe area, I highly recommend going there. Once the construction at Whole Foods is complete next door, it's going to be even better! I'm moving out of the area but wanted to leave a great review for this wonderful salon! The beds are absolutely state of the art and you'll never have a bed where the bulbs are weak or need replacing. The level 5 bed is unbelievable and will get you incredibly dark in 2 or 3 sessions without burning. I have used cheaper beds in the past and all I got was uneven tanning and white lines under my butt but that has never happened here. The tan is beautiful. I love the personal touches like cold eucalyptus towels and toiletries in every room (including eyewear in case you forget yours!) and even a little candy for when you're tanning. Personal touches make everything so much more enjoyable. I have also never seen this place anything but immaculate. Thanks for the great customer service over the last year! read more

I've been living in East Valley area for 13 years now and have been to A LOT of tanning salons offering various services to include traditional UV beds, stand up UV, custom airbrush, and all automated spray booths... Sunchain Tanning in particular is by far, the most impressive and dominant salon over its competition. Everything from its cheerful decor in the Lobby with warm smiles greeting you in Reception. Consistently, it's tidy and hygienic as well as all of their equipment is well-maintained. Price points are reasonable - especially if you purchase larger packages, etc. Not dirt cheap but tanning upkeep costs money! Besides, it's important to me to only tan at quality salons rather than discounted sketch business... My fave there? The Mystic spray tan booth, by far. It's user-friendly to use, sprays color evenly balanced, and my color can last up to 5-7 days if I take extra care n precautions. So go check 'em out! I signed up for a new member 10 day consecutive tanning special last Saturday 5/26, Monday the 29th being a holiday, they were closed. By right I assumed, that since they were closed, ( at no fault of mine). I assumed the day missed would be pushed to another day. After inquiring, I was informed "they dont work like that", but i can do a review for a free tan, ok but what about my 10th day? A free tan doesn't take the place of what I paid for. Had I known that, or was told I would have waited to get a full 10 day tanning experience, I definitely feel cheated. However, I do love the tan I have gotten, the location of the facility is close to home, its clean, and the ladies are polite. I do plan on continuing to tan at this facility, in the near furture. To any newbies, that plan on doing a 10 day deal, make sure there are no! Holidays included, otherwise you will be cheated. Happy Tanning read more

Best spray tan ever! I was in desperate need of a tan and decided to give Sunchain a try. The gal working was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing which tan to get. I chose to do a spray tan in the Mystic Spray Tan booth. I loved that I was able to customize my spray tan and really tailor it to my skin and its needs with different scents (no more icky spray tan odor!), bronzers, and the accel booster which was a must for my dry skin. Once in the booth the tan sprayed on seamlessly and only took a few minutes from start to finish. The whole process was a breeze and 3 days later my tan still looks amazing! I will definitely be returning to Sunchain for all of my tanning needs! read more

After a long rainy day and needing some warmth, my husband and I popped in to Sunchain for some color. You can't be running around Az without a tan, that's sacrilegious! The place is so clean and the girls upfront are super sweet. I went under the high pressure bed (level 4) for 12 minutes and came out with a sun kissed look. So happy with my experience. I had a great experience here! Went in to tan for a trip and the kind woman at the desk walked me through all the options and costs. I decided to go for a basic one time bed tan to try it out and she notified me that for first time tanners they would recommend 6 minutes and couldn't do anything over 10 minutes in the bed (though the limit is higher for returning customers). Though I had tanned before I thought that the limit showed care for the customer's experience. I remember overdoing it my first time and starting my trip with a sunburn, I wish someone would have limited me! I opted for 8 minutes and it was a perfect base tan. Eye protection and a cold towel were provided with the service and the room was equipped with a dry towel, baby wipes, baby powder, hairspray and really anything else you could need. I will definitely be a repeat customer! read more

I've been to few different tanning salons but this is the first one that has compelled me to Yelp. I love this location! The beds are good quality with excellent bulbs. It's clean and the pricing isn't ridiculous. That's all fine and dandy but what really sets this place apart is the staff!!! The girls here are so friendly and welcoming. At some other places I have found the staff to be intimidating in a high school cliquey way which I don't have time for I'm too grown.
