Marylin and her staff were all lovely and thorough in their explanations, educating and making us feel comfortable. I was in Arizona to visit with old friends and my good friend Eve and I decided to get our nipples pierced on a whim and given our experience, I am VERY pleased with my results. I wish I would come here for all of my piercing needs but I'm all the way in Albuquerque. I'll certainly be back sometime in the near future. read more

Very professional and super clean. Got a nostril piercing and it was virtually painless.

Torin is an amazing piercer. I've gotten 4 piercings done by him and i'll never get pierced by anyone else again. He is so welcoming and comforting during the process, while still being extremely professional. He is the BEST! read more

S/O to Danielle and Erica for helping me get my tragus piercings fixed! I no longer live in AZ and was bummed when a stone fell out. I went there to visit and they stood by their product and told me they could repair them and ship them out to me no charge! Just got them in the mail yesterday shiny and new. Thanks HTC! read more

I've been wanting to attend this studio for a long time and finally got around to booking an appointment recently. I got two lobe piercings by Marilyn who was SO professional, knowledgeable and had the most amazing energy about her. She made my piercing experience seamless and virtually painless! This was the start of my curation process so I will definitely will be returning! Her apprentice Emily was SUCH a joy and sooo collaborative in getting my vision for future looks translated into an actual concept as well as answering any additional jewelry questions after the fact! Yoel was also super helpful with picking out jewelry that was complimentary to exactly what I wanted. I cannot recommend this studio enough! Amazing service, very clean, ALL the good vibes, and gorgeous selection of jewelry! TYSM! read more

I came in for a piercing a couple of days ago while in town visiting relatives in Phoenix and I had a great experience here. The person helping me at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Marilyn was my piercer and she did a wonderful job. She listened to my requests and made the process go very smoothly. I was so grateful because I was really nervous. The next time I'm in Phoenix and want another piercing I definitely would revisit this place! read more

I've been coming here for years and even before Covid their cleaning procedures were absolutely top-notch. I've come in twice during Covid, once to get a piercing and another time to get new jewelry/jewelry insertion. Their protocols during Covid are even further top-notch and it is truly awesome to see such serious cleaning and precautions taken. I would expect nothing less from HTC. The staff is always extremely friendly and the piercers are so calming, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have specifically been pierced by Torin multiple times and I'm convinced is like one of the nicest people in this world. Yoel is super sweet, knowledgeable, and inviting too! They do such a fantastic job at the counter! I don't know if Ana works there anymore but she was one of my favorites. I will not go anywhere else for piercings or jewelry purchases. Quality service and quality jewelry. HTC, you have a customer for life! Thank you read more

I came to HTC body piercing a couple months ago to get my nostril pierced. There were a lot of customers in the shop which is rather small. They are located near ASU so there were a lot of college students. The wait was a little long but once I had my piercer, I felt very like I had his undivided attention. There is a method to the madness when you want a body part pierced. There are multiple steps but all of it makes sense afterwards. For aftercare, I would recommend the natural soap called Naked. I even went in to purchase a second bottle because I like how it cleans my face not just my nostril. All of the staff seem really cool and like they want your service. I would Definitely recommend HTC body piercing if you are looking to get a piercing. read more

I always have an amazing experience with Marilyn. I trust her with anything from stretching my nostrils, to more intimate piercings. She has a wonderful way of making me comfortable and educating me. I will definitely keep coming back! Thank you Marilyn and HTC for being so amazing and accommodating! read more

My boyfriend and I got our septum's pierced. Dylan did our piercings he walked us through it and it wasn't too painful, he answered all of our questions and the piercing looks great. I don't remember the name of the girl at the front but she let us in and she's an apprentice piercer and really explained everything for us helped us pick out the jewelry and answered everything we could've asked she even explained how we would have to sneeze, sleep, blow our nose, everything we could possibly need to know! Great experience. read more

I came to this location of HTC specifically because of the high ratings and the amazing reviews for Marilyn. I knew I wanted someone I could feel comfortable with as my piercing would be in a more intimate spot. First, the sales associate Yoel was super friendly and knowledgable when he greeted me and went over the COVID precautions, and her apprentice, Emily, asked permission to sit in which I super appreciated. The reviews were not wrong. Marilyn has a certain energy and that I felt instantly comfortable around and she made the piercing super quick and as painless as it could be. I would def recommend this shop and especially Marilyn. I will definitely come back for all my piercing needs as long as I'm in the Phoenix area. read more

I had a old ear piercing re pierced. It is a cute and clean place. I had to wait a bit but it wasn't too bad. The piercing itself was so fast I think it took longer for me to blink. I will definitely be back for more. read more

This place was so nice. They gave me the only nose piercing that actually healed perfectly without charging a bunch of money. I love my stud and they gave a discount to resize once the swelling went down. The staff was amazing and the piercing is fully healed under a month. Hey 4th times a charm! The right piercing shop makes all the difference (hint it's this shop) read more

I was so glad I did my research and found this place they make you feel comfortable and safe. The environment is so clean. Torin did an amazing job piercing me and making me less nervous. Grey did an amazing job making me aware of what jewelry was the best and overall was very formal and professional. I love this place I will be going back. read more

So it was back in October when I got pierced, so due for a review: So went it to get pierced for the time, got both nipples pierced. Went on a saturday and I believe the guy's name is Ricky, he seemed kind of a strange guy, but cool. Was pretty straight-forward and looked good. The recovery seemed to go well, with your typical pain/soreness. After about a week, one of them looked strange and uneven, not sure if it was like that before and just didn't notice it. So went in on a wednesday, and it was Marilyn how had a look at the piercing I was worried about. She said it looked like the piercing was too shallow (which I agreed with). Took it out and came two weeks later to get it redone,at no additional cost. I had Marilyn re-pierced me and it was great, very quick, precise, and not as painful as the first time. So overall very happy with the piercings. My biggest advice for someone going here for a piercing is have Marilyn do it, she's GREAT!!! read more

Went in on Sunday to get my septum pierced and for my girl friend to get her nipples done. It was really busy, but the sales associate was so friendly and helpful to everyone! We were told the wait would be around an hour and only ended up waiting maybe 35 mins. Our piercings were done quickly and came out awesome I couldn't be more happy!! It was a little more than I expected to spend, but worth it for a good environment and helpful staff. read more

I decided that I wanted my nose repierced after it closed up 20 years ago. I picked HTC after some research. I made an appointment for Saturday evening. The shop was clean and welcoming. Everyone was so nice and answered all my questions. They helped me feel less nervous. I was very anxious, as I remember how much it had hurt the first time I got it done. Dylan explained everything to me as he went and even waited for me patiently when I told him I needed a few more seconds. If the first time was an 8/10, this was a 2-3/10. Really easy. I've had no swelling or really even soreness. Aftercare was explained thoroughly. They also have a great selection of jewelry. read more

I went in today to get my nipples pierced. The shop is clean and the staff is friendly. The woman at the front (I forgot her name-sorry) was super informative, showed me jewelry for ear piercings and wasn't bothered when I decided to just go with my nipples. Rick and the woman at the front were honest, and not only there to make money. My piercer was Rick (or Richard I don't know what he prefers) and he was super professional, and even though I was topless I felt comfortable because he kept steady eye contact, and ensured I was properly informed about jewelry sizes, what to expect, and making sure I was comfortable. Overall great experience and I plan on going back there soon to get not only new jewelry but more piercings! read more

I visited HTC today while in town from L.A. and wow. Not only was the jewelry selection amazing but the staff was bad ass. Ana and staff were truly amazing. Not only did she make the perfect jewelry recommendation but her customer service was bar none. I am willing to only come to HTC for my piercing and jewelry needs at this point in time. Keep up the good work! read more

I just got my nostrils (yes both) pierced here by Marilyn and the entire experience was amazing. Anthony and Marilyn teamed up to help me pick out the perfect jewelry. Marilyn talked me though the whole process and didn't make me feel dumb about freaking out. She instead put effort into ensuring I was as calm and comfortable as possible. I also love that the entire staff of HTC are members of the APP (Association of Professional Piercers). They're pretty much the only shop in the Valley that can boast that. I also ended up buying a great pair of ebony plugs and adore the jewelry selection. read more

Went in to get my nose pierced and everyone was super nice and very friendly. I was very nervous, as I have never had anything pierced but my ears 17 years ago, but Marilyn and Yoel were amazingly reassuring. And now I have a brand new piercing that barely hurt to get done (a sharp pinch and that was about it for anyone wondering). The sitting fee for my nose was $30 and the piece of jewelry I got (small stud in a prong setting) was about $35. Highly recommend!!! read more

Marilyn is the bomb!! HTC in Tempe was my former go to place and I'm so excited there's now an Uptown location too. I was getting a little tired of my industrial, and when it fell out recently, I used it as a perfect excuse to go in and get something else done. Marilyn helped me decide an anti-tragus would be perfect. And it is. It healed perfectly and I was recently able to go in and size it down a bit, at which point a photo was taken for their gallery. There's usually only one staff member working at a time here, so there can be a line, but I think it's well worth it. It's clean, the staff is awesome and friendly and it's right by some amazing shops if you want to wander a bit on those crowded days. read more

Decided to get a piercing after making a spur of the moment decision. Was kindly greeted at the front and clearly informed about what everything would cost and how everything would go down. Marilyn took me back shortly, where she calmed any and all nerves and gave me a piercing I am SO happy with. She was sanitary and knowledgeable on everything, and her overall personality and energy reassured I was in good hands. My experience was quick, to the point, and everything and more I could have asked for. I would recommend this shop and Marilyn to everyone! read more

My boyfriend and i were visiting family in AZ for my cousins 16th birthday. On a whim at dinner the night we were heading home. We both decided to get our lips pierced. Called a bunch of places and the only place open was this one. It was super clean and you just instantly felt comfortable. We picked our jewelry out and got to it. Marilyn was really friendly and funny and totally made you feel at ease. I feel like it was a bit expensive but i understand the quality of everything is a huge portion of that so i feel its fair. If were in AZ and decide to get peirced again we'd defintely come back to here. read more

Marilyn is fantastic at what she does and is an extremely educated piercer! I got my nipples pierced and it didn't hurt, it honestly felt like some one bit on them a little too hard haha. Anyways she made sure I was comfortable and everything was even before we started. It was quick and they look fantastic. She even took a look at a piercing I got elsewhere a few weeks back I didn't think was healing right and she gave her recommendations and educated on me how it should be. Also I can't remember the names of the two up at the front who helped me with aftercare and checked me out but they're fantastic too. They explained everything in detail and answered any questions I might've had. I will definitely be coming back to this location for future piercings. read more

I can't rave enough about this place. Super nice staff and Marilyn, my piercer was super great to work with. I went to have my nipples pierced. I had had them done 17 years ago but was badly educated in the after care and ended up removing them after 4 months. Marilyn had the magic touch as the pain of having them done was much less than when I had them done before. She really put me at ease and was so quick. I was only with her about 5 min total. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get piercings. read more

I've had several ear piercings done here. The facility is clean and the service has always been professional and inviting. The ladies that have done my piercings are very nice and knowledgeable about their profession. I recently had a piercing done somewhere else that was swollen and irritated (not by fault of the place I had it done) and HTC quickly and happily replaced it with a better size. If you are getting a piercing I recommend them! read more

They were super nice! I got a nose piercing and it was super fast but there's a wait when I went. It was $66 dollars but if you do the 10% off for check in it'll be like $63 or $64 dollars. They are gentle and nice (: read more

I've been here twice and got pierced three times. The first time (2014) Jacob pierced me and did a fabulous job. It went smoothly and he was very friendly. The second time was on my 18th birthday in June. I went in for one piercing and came out with two! Marilyn (manager) pierced me and did an amazing job. She made me feel super comfortable and laugh when I was in pain. She explained what she was doing and why. I loved her!!!! I will definitely recommend her and HTC. read more
