I got a double Frenum, and punched both earlobes up to a 2g(two separate appointments). The atmosphere was laid back, but clean and professional. Kevin is calm and talks you through every step of the process so you know exactly what to expect. These were both pretty intense appointments-especially considering that they were my first couple piercings ever. But Kevin made the experience quick and as pain-free as possible. There's not enough reviews about John on here!! I initially went to get 2 conch piercings (one on each side), a rook on my left, and a hidden helix on my right. When coming in, John recommend that I should only get one ear done at a time so the healing process doesn't take longer than usual as well as giving me an ear to sleep on. The entire experience was very personal and he was very clear about the entire process from sterilizing to what he's doing with the needle. I also really appreciated that he asked for my preference if I wanted to wear a hoop or stud in the future and made his markings based off of my plans. I happened to luck out since Kevin the owner was between appointments, and since it was just a jewelry change out and not a piercing, he could fit me in. I will say I'm not one to rat out a bad business but I think it's important that others see this review before booking with Kevin Jump or this business. And I will say that years of experience doesn't always guarantee precision, detail, and great customer service. I went in last week to have my Apadravya pierced. This type of piercing is a really big deal. Not only just pain but you really need to look at the male anatomy to make sure things are straight and in alignment. My mistake is that I should have made sure to ask to see the pen point drawn first before allowing him to go through with piercing -- let alone, he should of been the one to have me look but trusting him, I let him do his thing. Well worst case scenario happened, and after going home and taking gauze off, I started to realize the bar wasn't perfectly centered. It was angled to the left a bit. I didn't immediately jump to conclusions. Maybe it was swelling? Maybe it was how the tissue was developing tension after going through trauma. But after a few days, I sent Kevin pictures. His responses were one liners and "wait it out and see". I just spent $300 with him to have services by him along with purchasing jewelry. I also had to pay for an appointment prior just for him to give me advice because he wouldn't return my call or texts. He never bothered to address that concern last week or offered to comp me for the last wasted visit. His customer care and service absolutely sucks. And to continue, I went to a professional piercer yesterday to get a second opinion and they did conclude that the piercing itself was not straight. They were even amazed that he used clamps on my penis (which distorts tissue alignment for this type of piercing) instead of using a receiving tube and inserting at the point drawn. So here I am. $300 in the trash and a piercing I ended up just taking out because I'm not happy at all with my experience or the look of what he did. I'm so so discouraged especially after enduring the pain of this piercing. He loves taking your money and being careless. I highly encourage anyone (no matter the piercing) to find a different piercer. I also heard that he f*cked up someone's ear recently and put a rod too short in that didn't allow for swelling, causing the client to have healing complications. Do your homework and listen to your gut and interview a few piercers before just allowing him to shove needles in you. He's not worth it and is completely overrated. read more

I went in to get my navel pierced. I was beaming with excitement and anticipation, as this is something I've always wanted. When I walked in the door, John greeted me with a professional yet approachable vibe. He inspected my navel, and told me that he doesn't think my body can anatomically support a navel piercing (as my navel is flat and cannot support the jewelry). Although I was disheartened, I cannot be appreciative enough that John was completely honest with me about this. He even offered to give me my deposit back. I ended up getting my Helix pierced, which was done professionally and efficiently.
