Got my second lobe piercing redone (it had grown over) and my daith jewelry swapped out. I had an appointment for 1:30 and ended up waiting for about 45 minutes but I think they were having an issue with some software. My piercer Ariel was great! She explained everything and also fixed my right ear second lobe piercing placement, something that had bothered me for a long time. I think it's a good price for the cleanest piercing studio I have ever been in and the quality of jewelry they pierce with. read more

My daughter wanted a septum piercing while we were down in the valley from Flagstaff. We had another place give us a hard time so we went here to HTC. We initially went in and were told to book online. We were able to do so, and have an appointment same day, 2 hours later. We did all the paperwork online including parental consent. This place is super clean, stylish and totally rad! The person at the front desk (can't remember the name) was hella cool too. We talked about tattoos and piercings. The environment was very very clean and sterile. The jewelry cases were displayed with great lighting, and the front desk person was very knowledgeable about the jewelry. Torin Vaughn was her piercer, and he is absolutely amazing!! Legit the coolest person we've ever met. He made the process easy to understand, and was very chill with my teen while she was freaking out. We had a few laughs at her expense but it was all in good spirits with her. She even laughed afterwards. The aftercare instructions were very clear, and he even said she could reach out to him anytime with questions. We got some of the spray solution to help kee the piercing from getting dried out. That was a large bottle for a good price which was great too. She will be getting her belly button next for her birthday, and we will be coming back to Torin!! We highly recommend HTC studios, Phoenix uptown!! read more

I had the greatest piercing experience here at HTC. The piercer, Torin, took the time to see if my second and third earlobe piercings were open before re-piercing me, and to my surprise, they found out that my second ones were still open, which saved me the larger piercing fee vs the re-insert jewelry fee. (Very thankful!) When re-piercing the third earlobe ones, Torin walked me through a breathing exercise which helped with my anxiety and the pain. Additionally, Torin took the time to put in a new septum hoop for me, which a previous piercer left often/bent at another shop, so it had been scratching my nose. (My nose feels so much better!) By far the best piercing experience I've had! Thank you so much! Also, I wanted to give a shout-out to the front desk crew, who were so sweet and helped me pick out the perfect jewelry and flat backs for my piercings. (I was bothered when sleeping with my previous earrings so I ended up taking them out.) Excited to leave these in and have cute earrings for my wedding later this year! :) Thank you again! I'll be back for sure! :) read more

Who would have thought that at 40+ I'd get more ear piercings? The conservative, working professional 30 year old me would have never believed it! Fast forward to yesterday when I was inspired by, dare I admit it, Jennifer Lawrence. I figured if she could do it, so could I! HTC opens at 11 on Saturday and I promptly arrived at 11:15 with my 6 year old who was begging to also get hers done. People get here early and Emily (the awesome gal who works the front desk) told me that there is often a line out front before they open. There were 4 people in front of me and the first group of 3 took a long time. Not because of HTC but because they asked a million questions and sounded like they were slowing their turn down to make it an experience. Anyway, when I first got there we picked out my earrings. This was hard because they have an incredible selection of teeny tiny earrings of the coolest shapes/designs in all metal types and every size imaginable. I love gold and they had hundreds to choose from, see my pictures. I settled on 2 small gold flat circles and 1 tiny 3 dot design. Marilyn, the most awesome piercer, put me at ease immediately. Between she and Emily, the process and follow up were fully explained. I told Marilyn what I wanted and she worked with me on the perfect placement. She put a dot on the front and back of the lobe to ensure perfect mounting. I payed down and she told me to take a deep breath, then it was done! She pierced it with a needle then skillfully installed the earring. I now have 3 on one ear and 2 on theSo fast and before I knew it I looked exactly like Jennifer Lawrence. BEST DAY EVER! Truth be told, I feel edgy yet sophisticated with my newly curated ears. There is much more opportunity for expressing my creativity through jewelry. I was sent home with cleaning instructions and a cleaning mixture. They did the best job. The only one who was disappointed was my daughter and her earringless ears! They also pierce kids ears and we made an appointment for her birthday in 2 months. I trust them implicitly to do a fantastic job on my daughter and she is beyond excited for her day at HTC! read more

HTC Studios - Phoenix Uptown - Love my septum piercing - Piercing Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I LOVE THIS STUDIO!!! I have never had anything pierced. I'm 25 and have the pain tolerance of a toddler with sunburn. I was so terrified, but wanted to get my ears pierced and my nose pierced. First of all, they're taking COVID precautions - everything is well sanitized right in front of you, gloves and masks are worn, they have a sanitation station for customers and it's one customer (and their +1, if you ask for permission) inside at a time. Everything was thoroughly explained to me beforehand, and they even talked me out of getting double ear piercings all in one appointment because I was so new to piercings and it would be a lot for my body to handle / heal from. My piercer was Torin Vaughn. He was SO KIND and made me feel very taken care of. He even said I could DM him on instagram if I had any concerns afterwards. I highly recommend asking for him specifically, but I'm sure the other piercers there are incredible too! Also the jewelry is titanium, which I was new to but love the look and is apparently perfectly healthy for the body. It was affordable, stylish, I never have to take it out, don't have to worry about it getting wet. I will be buying more jewelry from them as soon as I can! read more

There's a reason this place is highly rated. Had my nose and ear pierced by Torin and he was super chill, took his time made sure I liked the placement. I had second thoughts on one of the piercings after wearing it for a few hours, called HTC they were fully booked and still made themselves available that same night to have me come in. The whole staff stayed after hours to make sure I was taken care of and fully satisfied. If you'd like to feel valued and taken care of by a business you're at the right spot. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Thanks HTC read more

From the phone call until I walked out this experience was awesome. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone was great with explaining me the process very patient with me and all my questions. When I arrived at the shop it was very welcoming. My nerves were through the room. Ana was so gentle and relaxing. Hellava distraction. We just chatting she says relax relax breath breath I'm done. Wtf!!!!! Slight pinch and it was over the conversation never missed a beat... AWESOMENESS!!!!!! Great experience !!!! I will be back read more

The reviews are true! They are amazing! I was feeling a little nervous about getting pierced alone (my boyfriend couldn't come with me due to COViD) .. but they made me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. They explained the entire process... Asked me if questions to understand what I was looking for... And provided all pricing prior to my piercing. The piercing itself is not very expensive... The price goes up when you add jewelry ;) but... I was more than happy to pay for quality items... My piercer was very gentle... He asked me throughout the process if I was feeling OK and comfortable. Overall I got two lobe earrings and one conch. I was expecting to get both conch done.. However, they do not recommend that. Additionally, I wanted a ring on my conch... But that is also not recommended for the first six months. I'm happy that they took the time to explain what was better for my healing... Rather than just going with whatever I wanted. Overall, I had a great experience very happy to come back and exchange my jewelry! read more

I've been thirsting for a rook piercing for years but was hesitant bc of the pain/healing time horror stories I've heard. When my friend found this studio I figured it was finally time to commit. Everything about the experience was phenomenal!! My friend and I were initially bummed we weren't allowed to go in together, but after seeing the extent of the Covid precautions they're taking I completely get it. Yoel was so kind and patient while showing me the different jewelry options and walking me through the after care. And Torin was fantastic! He talked me through each step of the piercing process, and I barely felt anything. You can tell they both love what they do and are 100% committed to providing an excellent yet safe experience for each customer. Plus, I believe each appointment slot is at least 30 minutes so you don't feel rushed. The total price was a little higher than I've paid for prior piercings, but between the safety measures, the jewelry options, and the piercing itself, it was worth every penny. I'd recommend this studio to anyone looking to add some bling and I will definitely be back myself! read more

I came in one hour ago sign said walk-ins available and once I got there he told me I had to make an appointment. After that he said if I was willing to wait for an hour and I said YES. So I called here on a Thursday to ask if they do surface sternum piercings, the person who answered the phone said "that's a good question, let me find out for you" when she came back on the phone she said " yes, you just need a consultation and that will be done in your piercing appointment " so I book my appointment for the next week only for receive a call that nobody there done these piercings?? Frustrating to say the least. You'd expect a little more organization from a place with such high reviews. read more

Great experience getting my first helix piercing just about a month ago. They use a needle which is more sterile and effective the gun thing. Super kind staff. Needles are not my favorite thing but they made this experience fast, easy, and pretty much painless if I'm being honest. It's also healing surprisingly fast, although I have been diligent about keeping my ear clean and sterile. Would definitely recommend read more

I can see why they're rated so high. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you are treated with the utmost respect and lighthearted courtesy. Read reviews and looked at all the pictures before going to this location just to make sure I would be In good hands, I would say the reviews have it right. This place is super clean and welcoming! My sister and I came so I could get my septum done and she came to get gauges. The guy up front was a little quiet, but still friendly. He helped my sister and I choose our jewelry before starting the process, they had lots to choose from and high quality stuff. We signed our consent forms and waited to be called to the back. Marilyn, the piercer and manager, came out from the private room and called us over to get started. She made sure everything was all set up, new, and sterilized before starting with me. She was very informative and let me know exactly what she was doing and why. Super quick and easy piercing! When she finished with me, she threw out anything that was used/open, sterilized the seating, and grabbed fresh tools/gloves. Marilyn made sure we were comfortable and understood what was going to happen. Once we finished, she cleaned everything again, walked us to the front and told us everything we needed to know about caring for the piercings. We got little pamphlets and good sized packets of sea-salt to help us with that. The prices were a little high in my opinion ~$70 for my septum and $48 to start gauges, but I'm glad we got the quality we were expecting for the prices we paid. Thank you HTC! We will definitely come back to you if we want more piercings! read more

Wow, I was really late updating this review. Like really really late. So sorry about that! A few months ago I had to go to an important corporate meeting. I travel for work and am allowed to have a nose piercing, but facial piercings weren't really appreciated by the higher ups in the company. I am a piercing novice. My ears have been pierced poorly (multiple times) by mall kiosks... yes, I was young, dumb, an uneducated (high school), and my nose had been pierced once before but I took a job at Disneyland and had to remove it shortly after it was pierced. So as a 33 year old with crummy ear piercings and a lovely new nose piercing from HTC, I headed back into HTC to see if they could help me out. My piercing was too fresh to go without a stud and I didn't want the piercing to close up. I wish I could remember who was at the counter when I came in, but I told them of the predicament and asked if they had anything I could put in place of my lovely gold stud. Sure enough, they had a clear spacer! Obviously, I was not thrilled to have to switch it out, but it had to be done. Marilyn was there again and quickly switched it out for me and engaged in some friendly chit chat. Places like this make me feel so uncomfortable. I don't feel like one of the cool kids with tons of piercings and tattoos. However, the folks at HTC are awesome! The customer service is great, and the people there seem genuinely happy to be there and to help out their clients. Also, I follow HTC on Social Media and have been so impressed with their handling of the pandemic and the regular communication they have provided to people interested in new piercings. They are clearly putting everyone's safety above the business and the money. This is so important at this time, and I hope they know it is not going unnoticed. ----------------------- Initial Review: My nose is swollen and maybe a little bruised - totally normal! I am pasty white! This is just the reason for the lack of photo. I just got my nose pierced by Marilyn about 5 hours ago. HTC Uptown was fantastic! My check in process was great, the guy working the counter was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Let me say, I am not a piercing person, by any means, I have several standard piercings in my ear (done at a Claire's with a gun, shame on me, I know I know). I explained I wanted a very very small stud in my nose in yellow gold. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for - the one in the case had run out, but they had more! Yay! It was a comfortable, clean, and welcoming process. Marilyn took me back and was so nice and thoughtful! She helped me pick the best placement. It was quick and painless (however it was my second time getting my nose pierced). After we were done I inquired about some beautiful jewelry in the case I had my eye on, I was not sure where I could place it. Marilyn explained options for me and the best ways to style piercings vs the jewelry you want. I am thrilled to come back with my sister who also wants to spice up her ears. I was given clear direction on how to take care of my new piercing. I would highly recommend this location!! read more

My seven year old daughter and I got pierced today by Effie. She got her earlobes and I had my nostril pierced. I have to say how wonderful each step of the experience was. We were in a little over a week ago to get my daughter's ears pierced. She is 7 years old. I scoured the internet looking for the best shop and piercer for kids and landed here. I am so happy I did. Nicola was absolutely fantastic. She took a lot of time at the beginning to explain the process and make my daughter comfortable. She has a great communication style with kids. The shop itself is spotless and has a separate piercing room that gives much appreciated privacy. The sales associate was patient and helpful. The jewelry seems pretty expensive and the total cost for a kids ear piercing was significantly higher than other places you could go. From reviews, I knew the price would be higher than other places and I didn't mind paying more for higher quality jewelry and a better experience. My daughter had very little swelling and no pain or soreness after the first day--likely due, at least in part, to the talent of the piercer. When my daugher is ready for more, we will definitely be back! read more

I am originally from here, AZ. But moved to California years ago to train to become a special effects Make up artist. All my piercings were done by 2 of the best in LA. When we came bk 2 AZ , we now travel bk & forth but live in AZ when not working. I am super picky about tattoos & more about piercings. ( had a few bad experiences) I looked around & sought out the best piercers & the best shops. I found Marilyn @ HTC uptown. I hv never been happier. The staff, is amazing. So nice & knowledgeable. They really go all out to Make sure you are satisfied with your entire experience. Marilyn had impeccable references & her resume is outstanding. She is as much artist as piercer. She actually does something I was looking for & that's personal ear styling. ! She can take a look & a pic, & show you what will fit your ears & look good, whether it can fit or not. Take into account your personality & style & custom design each ear. She is a true, gifted, rare artist. Her work is superior. AZ & HTC Are lucky to hv her. She's also so sweet & puts u right at ease. Please do yourself a favor, before u go somewhere else, you hav to go check out HTC & Marilyn , or any of the piercers that work there too. They are all top notch. You won't regret it. And you won't get half the artistic & custom ear styling, anywhere else. Or the cleanliness & strict professional practices of healthy & safe piercing. Obviously I'm a fan. I won't let anyone else do any piercing on me except for them. read more

So I am a person who has quite a few facial/body piercings so I've been to a few different shops around the valley and this is by far my favorite. Long story short, I had my high nostrils pierced by a different shop and one fell out while healing within the first year and the original shop I went to wouldn't repierce my high nostril for me. So I asked around and Torin from HTC Uptown was highly recommended and so I took a chance and went in. Torin was so kind, sweet, gentle, etc with not only repiercing one side of my high nostril piercings but also stretching my pre-existing side back to a 18g. Torin has also done other facial piercings for me now but I recommend them to everyone and anyone who ever asks me about my piercings. Torin went the extra mile to make sure both sides were exactly even and now they are healed to perfection. (This was just about over a year ago.) I will continue to book with Torin but also recommend this specific location only! Thanks! :))) read more
