It failed to respond even when the correct books were pulled. Our guide did confirm this was a room error, and it prevented us from completing the game. It was disappointing that we weren't able to pause our time to have the mechanical error fixed and progress with the game or receive an offer to retry the experience in a functional room.

I do want to say the initial check in was good. I had a bag I should have taken home and they held it safe up front for me. Very appreciated. The rough... The location boasts "42" mini escape rooms, most are 2-4 connected rooms with a task to get to the next room. With one task to get through and no real objective or clues, it can be frustrating figuring it out. The rooms are broken or worn out. 4 initial rooms could not be entered, holding back access to 2-3 more rooms each. Anything that required touching showed its age with wear. Some rooms required crawling with worn out floors that hurt to crawl on. The place is connected to a trampoline park, we had random young kids running around Labyrinth area unsupervised. The potential.... We were able to get through 2 areas completely! The obstacle course to get through a volcano was fun! The Asylum area was great as well. But so many rooms we were just clueless as to the clues. I am not the world's best escape room person, but I've completed dozens. Hard tasks are good, nearly impossible to figure out tasks are rough, racially with broken down interactions. When this place was new, I bet it was great. For $60 total we were entertained for two hours well enough, but I can't really recommend this place with all the broken and worn down interactions. The place needs a revamp and it could be unique and great!

The rooms you have to crawl thru the cushion and the ground are worn down to nothing which as an adult it makes for a rough time. I am an athlete and offer you should not go if you are not physically capable. Injured? Don't go. Also, if you are a group or have children, let others pass you as you will slow them down. Staff are not on the course. Do not expect them to come help you. Be self sufficient. Set reasonable expectations for yourself. And don't worry about what other people think. Hydrate. This is physical exercise. And have fun! This is fun! Be free with yourself and your companions. Laugh! Connect with nature. Enjoy challenging yourself. Try something new. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Staff are inconsistent and so is the upkeep. For example on today's visit one of the ropes was broken but I was allowed to use the obstacle anyway. That seemed very unsafe to me. The locks are malfunctioning etc. But overall we enjoy coming out and will continue to do so.

During our visit, a teen tried to start a fight with my 8-year-old, and other teens were running around pushing my 5-year-old and even bumping into me. At one point the police were called because a fight broke out inside the location. Another issue was seating. There are not many tables available for eating. Some groups brought cakes and took over the tables for parties, so we couldn't find a place to sit and eat. We ended up ordering pizza and leaving to eat elsewhere. Overall, it's a fun place for kids under 10, especially earlier in the day, but I do wish there was better supervision and more seating for families.

My 4-year-old had seen Fritz's on YouTube and wanted to go, so I did just enough research to know we needed tennis shoes and that I should be prepared to climb and crawl with them, and off we went. Both girls were nervous about several attractions at first, but that honestly became one of my favorite parts of the experience. They were able to try things at their own pace, build confidence, and go back to obstacles that initially scared or challenged them. Watching my 2-year-old repeatedly attempt one obstacle, finally master it, and come running over so proud of herself was worth the admission by itself. There was plenty for both of their ages to do without harnesses, including the underground tunnels, climbing areas, airplane and laser maze. I also loved that this isn't exclusively a little-kid attraction. We saw toddlers, elementary-age kids, teenagers and adults all genuinely having fun. As my kids grow, there will still be new things here for them to try. I participated with my kids instead of watching from the sidelines, and I had just as much fun as they did. If you're bringing younger children, I'd definitely recommend wearing comfortable clothes and tennis shoes and being prepared to climb, crawl and explore with them if that's your parenting style. The facility was clean, the staff were friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the food--it was good and reasonably priced for an attraction. We stayed for hours and still didn't do everything. We enjoyed it enough that I bought a season pass. With my girls currently being young enough to enter free, it was an incredible value, especially for an indoor, air-conditioned activity in Texas. Additionally, my son and his two friends went to get snacks and one of the items his friend was buying was .12 cents short. The worker gave him no grace and wouldn't let him have it. I mean, I get it was a little short, but seriously? He was buying it for his friend who needed a drink too. You guys lost an opportunity as a business to go above and beyond -- especially for an eleven year old! My son had a fun time, but I'm not sure if I'd take him back. I think his friends made the experience TBH. Y'all need to hire better and fix those safety issues. Someone will sue. UPDATE: They went through the motions of responding publicly, but once contacted through email completely stonewalled me and never responded. We spent three hours tackling as many challenges as we could and completely lost track of time. Bashing into each other? Standard procedure. Plowing friends into the barriers? A rite of passage. Spinning the slowpokes like they were caught in a tornado? Oh, you bet. Chaos? Yes, oh yes - it was glorious chaos, plus this kind of mayhem wasn't just tolerated, it was practically the norm back then. Yes sir, those were indeed the good old days! Presently, they have some sort of remote device they can (and do) use to throttle the kart down to a standstill if anyone gets crazy. No more playing demolition derby, no more t-boning or ramming each other, and in a nutshell, no more shenanigans on this track. No sir indeed, those good old days are gone! Be that as it may, it's still only $8.00 a race with no helmets required! Therefore, this track still stands as THE BEST Go-Kart Track of ALL-TIME in my opinion. ALL-TIME!
