With temperatures over 110 degrees outside, I was also very grateful for someplace indoors where he could climb, jump, zip line and burn off all that wonderful kid energy. What I did not expect was how impressed I would be with the people. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel like we belonged there. Feyi, the team member at the front desk, made sure we had everything we needed and knew exactly where to go. Throughout the facility, team members were attentive, engaged and, most importantly to this grandmother, clearly focused on safety. Watching my grandson carefully harnessed before flying through the air above my head made me very happy! I also had the pleasure of meeting Maria, the manager, and clearly understood where that culture comes from. We had a wonderful conversation about her team, their birthday parties, training, safety and the importance of making sure every child has a great experience. She told me that whether they're incredibly busy or having a quieter day, the expectation is the same: be focused, be present and take care of the people who are there. When my grandson was going on the Sky Rider, my curiosity peaked. What would happen if a child was excited to go on and then...wasn't. One team member told me that there are children who can't wait to go on...until their feet leave the platform and they suddenly realize they're actually hanging in the air. She described how she calmly and carefully brings them back when they're not quite ready. That little story told me a lot about the people working there. I've lived in Southlake longer than Urban Air has been here, yet this was my first visit. My grandson walked in like a regular, and somehow they made me feel like one too. Whether your children already know every corner of Urban Air or you're walking through the doors for the very first time, you're in good hands. While these changes get updated, there should be a notice on the door and also prices to accommodate the fact that there's nothing much to do here. Give a construction coupon for $9.99 (example) since the most you can spend here is about an hour before the kids have done everything five times and are bored. Awesome location: space and so much potential, but also a lot of competition in the area. Highly recommend steep discounts to get people in the doors, and post information by the attractions for when they will be updated, conveying the vision and message can go a long way.

There are 2 different levels of admission- Crew Starter pass for $30 or Crew Premium pass for $50. I highly recommend the premium pass for the kids since it includes the crusher experience and a drink. The adults did a starter pass and we added a snack and drink combo deal for $10. You park across the street, at Grapevine Mills Mall and a Dig World crossing guard employee will walk you safely across the busy street. We arrived right at 9:00 am, right when they open and before it got too hot. They had fans with water misters all around and it was very refreshing to walk by those. We finished up at 11:30 and headed to lunch at the nearby ChikFilA. Every single employee there has an A+ attitude, so friendly and helpful and they really put safety first. We had several different employees offer to take a picture of our group and I just love that! The adults had as much fun as the kids!! So many fun experiences! After you enter, be sure to grab a Dig World park map found behind the entry windows. The map shows all of the attractions and also has a place to collect the stickers you receive after each game/experience. Once you have 10 different stickers, be sure to head to the Supply Shed or merchandise area to score a special, limited-edition prize! The highlight was "The Crusher" where you select a plastic toy and it is lined up in front of a pavement roller. A Dig World employee (best job ever!) rolls over it frontwards and back and then collects the resulting smashed vehicle into a plastic zip bag for you to take your souvenir home. We did this near the end so we didn't have to carry it around with us all morning. One of our grandkids chose a school bus to crush since she was secretly not looking forward to school starting next week! Our family had a great day and lots of fun memories were made!

I feel that the park was the perfect size for them. Not too big and not too small. It was just right. Now, if you go in thinking it's going to be like Universal Studios, DisneyWorld or even Disneyland, you're going to be 1000% disappointed. The park is meant to be for KIDS. The employees were amazing and super friendly. I know the resort just opened, but there are few hiccups I think Universal can work on. Park 1. Some of the ride times are SHORT! Anywhere form 45 seconds to a minutes. No joke, we spent about 10 minutes getting situated for a ride, all for it to be over in 45 seconds. Please be aware of the height requirements before going. Our kiddos ALMOST made the height on some rides, but had to skip out. 2. It would be nice if there were adult sizes in the merch shops. I get it's meant for kids, but a lot of parents grew up with these characters when they were younger, and now they are introducing them to their kids. They were a lot of cool shirts we wanted to get but since they were only in kid's sizes, we couldn't get them. 3. The park closed exactly at 5. It would be nice if the shops stayed opened at least an hour after the park closed. I feel like this is a loss on Universal's end. Hotel 1. The outlets on the walls, by the beds, only fit charging blocks. I have CPAP machine and was not able to plug it. The plug wouldn't fit in the socket. Luckily I brought an extension cord and was able to connect it to the outlet across the room. If you have medical equipment that needs to be used, bring an extension cord just to be safe. 2. The trash cans are TINY. We had to take our trash to the elevator/ice area just to empty it out. 3. We came back from the park at 5 pm and the cleaning crew was still cleaning our room/didn't finish. At one point, we counted 28 cars in the parking lot and there are 300 rooms in the hotel. How they didn't mange to clean our room when the hotel wasn't even at full capacity is a mystery to me. 4. At certain times, the hotel room got too hot and the thermostat was locked, so we weren't able to adjust the temperature. 5. Not too big of a deal, but someone was always mopping in the lobby and it was a little annoying trying to go around Wet Floor signs. Keep in mind, these are some things I think Universal can work on that didn't ruin our experience. We are already looking forward to coming back and can't wait to see how much it evolves!

Provided all the paperwork that they required and was told how it worked for the to accommodate the member of my party. Got to the 1st ride no problems, but then that's was the last good thing. Non of the other ride were accommodating to the member of my party and the other half of the rides were closed. It had rained prior to the park opening, so they told us they had technical issues, but for over half the park didn't work. This was a terrible day. NOT WORYH THE MONEY DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
