You select a reservation for 15 minutes from now, and magically there isn't an hour wait for you anymore. You note the still open tables and the line not moving. The restaurant is very loud. They're doing late 2010's industrial chic with not a soft surface in site and garage doors, so everybody's conversation bounces around indefinitely. You wait a while for a server to come. I find the way the food looks when it arrives is always different than the way it sounds when you read the menu - sometimes for better, and sometimes for worse. The coffee and bar menu is pretty decent for a brunch place. Prices are on the high end, though some are more reasonable than others. Then you get hit with a 3% credit card fee which isn't adequately disclosed on the menu or when you enter the restaurant.

after reading such great reviews on Yelp, was looking forward to a great breakfast. Not so much...ordered a ham & cheese omelet. The cheese was a slab of processed American cheese inside the omelet that didn't even melt. The omelet oozed some kind of liquid, not sure what it was. Although it contained a lot of ham, the cheese made the whole thing undesirable. The hash browns were good and buttery tasting, but I can get a better omelet at Perkins. Coffee was good and hot. The portion was huge. I can't say I'd go back there, I was really expecting more out of this place. I don't know who took the pics, but my breakfast did NOT look anything like what they post on here. Great place for breakfast. It was one of the only places open in the early AM. It's family owned with a homey feel. The owners were very nice. I visited from California and they gave me a list of places to visit. All recommendations were great. Great people, great food and service. read more
