My order was nothing extraordinary, it was the Easter Special: Ham and Turkey with mashed potatoes, green beans and stuffing. I ate most of it, except the stuffing. It was cold. I don't eat cold stuffing. Regardless, I paid for my meal and left. My waitress gave me a piece of pecan pie, sweetening my mood, before I left. Thank you! The food was delicious I should have went with a more spicy option . The service was great along with the time it took to receive our order I actually thought it was going to take longer so it was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant was clean and comfortable definitely worth the mention . My children and spouse really enjoyed the music , my youngest loved the lights and chickens all over and my eldest was jammin to the music and enjoying the mural on the back wall . One of the best places that I've eaten at that makes me want to keep coming back! The food here is amazing and I come whenever I have a free minute for lunch. The service is impeccable, and I always feel satisfied when I am finished. Our main dishes took over 30 minutes to arrive, and it felt like they only came out because we actively hunted down staff to ask. On top of that, our Caesar salad was missing. After waiting another 15 minutes for the salad, we finally caught a server and explicitly asked to cancel it. 10 minutes after canceling, the server brought the salad out anyway, saying it was on the house. By that point, we were already finished with our meal and turned it away. Kitchens get busy, and guests understand that. But setting expectations upfront ("Hey folks, the kitchen is backed up about 30 minutes today") or proactively offering a small courtesy early on would have changed everything. Leaving guests in the dark, ignoring a cancellation, and then offering an unwanted item at the very end isn't good service. I'm normally a generous tipper, and frankly, a tip wasn't deserved here at all. I left $2.00 strictly out of habit, but the front-of-house service severely let down what was otherwise a great meal from the kitchen.
