very very nice people. Very busy office. The only problem I have is that if I am told to arrive 15 minutes in advance, I expect to be seen on time. I arrive 25 minutes and I was there for over an hour. honestly, I think they may need to revamp their scheduling. Someone's not scheduling two back to back therefore there's an overflow again if you expect me to come 15 minutes early check in properly then I do expect to be seen on time or no later than 10 minutes after it should not be a whole hour. That's just a little too much. The doctors are wonderful, but people do have other things to do during the day and sit and wait for hour in a room. read more

I read the reviews and my experience was very different. I did arrive early and waited, but not an unreasonable amount of time. Dr.Samuel Mascardo was very thorough and spent a lot of time explaining my health concerns. I return soon for a follow up. So the jury is still out. Right now my experience was very good. read more

Checking in was a smooth process since I had already filled out all the paperwork, however the receptionist could have been more friendlier how do you work upfront and not greet the customers . The total time to see the doctor over TWO HOURS to me that was ridiculous especially for an elderly patient. The time he spent in the room examining her eyes was a fraction of that time. I'm not sure if they were overbooked or understaffed but that's something that needs to be addressed. The tech that took my mother back initially was very friendly and pleasant she was the only highlight for us. Once the doctor came in it took him no time to examine my mom I just feel the service wasn't worth the time spent waiting. Right now I maybe looking for another eye doctor for my mom. read more

Came in to make an appointment for my mother as we just moved to Texas and my first impression was absolutely horrible. I waited at the receptionist desk for over 10 minutes just to make an appointment and they had me keep waiting. Keep waiting. Keep waiting while they chitchat and do nothing about getting an appointment. People in the office are complaining about their job working there and that they don't have enough time for themselves. Well the general manager is watching all of this happen and is joining the team in chatter versus serving the client. read more

I would like to leave no stars, but there's no option for that. This is the worst office I've ever been to to have my eyes examined. I waited over an hour. I ended up leaving and this was my first visit. I filled out all the pre-authorization work prior to my office visit when I walked in the receptionist didn't even make eye contact with me Very unprofessional. Don't waste your time here. read more

worst place to go!! the receptionist are really unhelpful and rude they don't help the patients !!

If I could give Zero stars, thats exactly what the receptionist deserves... I've called a few times to schedule an appointment due to my Dr pushing me to have my retna checked for detachment.. I've called her 3 times and it's always a runaround or forwarded to never ending hold... So I figured I'd walk in today to see if she's as rude in person as she is on that phone... Sure enough.... Rude and Dumb at the same time... I asked if they had an ophthalmologist today... she said, YES... WE HAVE PLENTY OF THEM HERE... I said OK can I see one in about an hour and she said .. oh no... we don't have anyone here today.... what a complete DA... read more

Shame on the ladies that work up front here. From the lady at the front to the one that does the insurance to the one that does glasses. Prepare to feel unwelcome. We went to get my daughter glasses and she clearly stated that and then was given a contact exam because she said she had previously worn contacts but she didn't know there was a difference between both. Poor communication and hateful women. read more

DON NOT BUY GLASSES HERE!!! The fat lady who sells the glasses is rude and MONEY HUNGRY! she was rude the second I sat down with her ! I walked in and was told to go to the last desk. The sales lady was sooooo unprofessional . I was a walk in and she was so quick to tell me and others to SIT DOWN and wait my turn. She was yelling names across the office instead of walking people to her desk... in my opinion she could use the extra steps. I decided that if I was gonna pay well over $500 for glasses I'd go to Berkeley where Atleast the customer service is nice. read more

The wait time is ridiculous. I took my mother, I see a different eye doctor, and I have never experienced this kind of wait time. Not only that, but the exam was sub par. They did not test my mother's eyes in any way, they didn't even check her eye pressure. Nothing. No machines, no look in here, follow the submarine dah dah.... nothing. No machines or eye exam at all. After a 2 hour wait to then be told she has dry eyes. Right..... we know that.... but does she have tear duct clogs? How do her eyes look? Ohhh they couldn't tell us because no they couldn't do the photo of the inside of her eye for some reason, never mind that she has all the insurance necessary. My mom is in a wheelchair. They assumed she couldn't transfer to another chair, like the exam chair. When we asked why so long the wait, they said they were waiting for a wheelchair room. What does that mean??? You think you should ask? Don't you think you could ask if she needed the wheelchair room??? She transfers just fine. How freaking judgement of the handicapped. Just ask. How absolutely disgusting that they used the stackable appointment times as a handicapped accuse. Typical, So I asked the receptionist how long it would be again, after waiting from the initial assistant that didn't do anything except take notes and we were sent back out to the second waiting room, I asked how much longer it would be. She said - "it's always 1 to 2 hours wait for our doctors!!!" and so... I was told. They never did do a glaucoma test. No looking in her eye for the correct prescription, no measuring the distance of her eyes functioning together - nope. Then we had to go to the waiting room again. Another hour, I complained again. Again the same excuse "she needs a wheelchair room" because she's in a wheel chair. Not knowing her transfer abilities to other seating. JUST ASSUMPTIONS of handicaps! And finally the chap we saw, not a full doctor, but the eye guy was nice enough, only he gave her no exam. Nothing. He said her Fuchs dystrophy was fine? How he determined that I have no idea. He was very nice. He really was, but it in no way was an eye exam. We left with dry eye syndrome. And so.... I will take her to my eye doctor to get her what she needs. I'm 54, and my mom is 81. I've been to plenty of eye doctors, wear contacts and glasses my whole life. I've taken my mom for 5 years previous for those senior eye shots this place said she "had to have" and I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. Crowded, stacked appointments to within 10 minutes (horrible wait times) no true exam, no machines to test like I have at my eye doctor, just really bad place. Plus - it's dirty. The floors are dirty. Guess my eyes see that!! Go to Katy Vision Center for fabulous eye care. That's where I go, and my mom will from now on. read more

Called to Schedule 1st time appointment. Was hung up on twice. Apparently they don't know how operate their phones. Going somewhere else. read more

Staff was friendly, establishment clean. The main issue here is the wait time. We arrived at 1230p for a 1p Appointment. It is now 205p and my mother has yet to see the doctor. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. read more

I called in for appointment and information but the receptionist was very non welcoming and very rude. She made sure she is rude enough for us not to come to clinic. read more

I loved the Dr and back staff, they were amazing. However the front staff approach and treatment of patients is unprofessional and rude. I have 2 insurances, as I am retired/disabled. I have Medicare and Cigna thru my employer. For My first appointment my EOB showed I pay nothing out of pocket. So when I was asked to return in 1 month for a recheck of a medical condition and to get checked for glasses they tried to charge me $59 dollars. I called Cigna and they said that is not correct, that once they file EOB with Medicare then a EOB will be filed with them (Cigna). The Dr is in network with both insurances and most they could charge would be a small copay. Then the receptionist yelling at me states if we have to bill you we will charge you $98. The insurance company on my phone said Wait! What! They can't do that. Anyway insurance has notated my account waiting on the EOB. Be careful folks, listen to your insurance company and ask questions. I'm a cancer patient so I'm used to dealing with my 2 insurances, I am not used to unprofessional receptionist talking over me and doubling a bill that I challenged. read more

My mother who is 84 years old was referred by her doctor to see Dr Urso. Thank God she has children who are very involved in her medical because this has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE dealing with his staff and the organization. In my 60 years i have NEVER experienced anything. So unorganized and the distinction of the staff. NO ONE cares or at least that is the impression they give. i Am sooo deeply disappointed in this HUGE organization and as soon as my mother is released from follow up from surgery we will find another physician. read more

If I could rate zero I would. Made an appointment 1 month prior with dr majeed appointment. The morning of appointment Marie called and said they couldn't confirm insurance. Called back in scheduling and gave all insurance information and she said she called the office. 10 minutes before appointment while I was in parking lot said they moved appointment to 1 pm because I never called back. I said I called central scheduling and gave all that information. I said you can't confirm my insurance in 20 minutes. She said the doctor already left the office. I canceled my appointment and would never use this office or doctor. How unprofessional! read more

Came to pick up contacts & arrived at 11:30, possibly broke a vein in my eye this morning & asked if a doc was in to see me. Was told no & then a doc came up & said he was going to lunch!! I tried to get them to stop him & they made excuses why they couldn't & I need to wait! Now I'm sitting waiting until 1 pm just to get my eye looked at! My eye doc is at a location far away today. He would have made the time. It's unfortunate that the front staff treat people this way! I think I will go back to the other location where staff are friendly & helpful! We DO have a choice! read more

Time for my annual eye exam and came to see Dr. Lee. I didn't have to wait long at all, which is great!! The ladies in the reception area are nice and genuinely friendly. Dr. Lee is also very kind. I appreciate his professionalism, and efficiency! I definitely had a more thorough exam compared to other docs. I got contacts and was given advice on which brands were better for my needs. When you go into the building, it's right in front on the first floor. :) read more

Terrible staff, unpredictable waiting time, front desk staff is quite unpleasant. I waited for more than two hours, the jumped people in front of me, without care for my appointment. There are plenty of doctors in the Katy area, don't risk a major disappointment. read more

Dr. Chang is great but the front desk staff member Cassandra was extremely rude and had such a bad attitude. Makes me not want to go back.
