The work took all of 5 minutes to swap out the old bulbs, the labor fees are wild here. But the thing that bothered me the most was when I asked the guy "hey is it normal that I'm having to replace bulbs in my Subaru constantly? I'm not even getting a year out of each bulb"... a genuine question I was asking as I don't know how often people typically need to replace burnt out bulbs. This guy spoke to me like I was a total idiot and said "well they're just lightbulbs... and you hit bumps don't ya?" Crazy response. My bulbs are burning out fast because I hit bumps? Come on. I've never had this issue in any car I've driven so was honestly wondering if something is wrong or if that was normal. Everyone I've asked since says it doesn't seem normal in the slightest. So I'm not sure if this guy just assumed I was stupid, or if he spoke to me that way because I'm a woman or what, but I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere and regret not reading some reviews in the first place because it seems most customers are unhappy as well

They don't care about you or your car. It's a chain business, so no one will get fired for a bad job. Just don't take your car here unless you have time for inconvenience and stupidity.

They told me they could not accept the coupon for some reason. I called the number on the coupon, and was told that indeed that location was a separate franchise and didn't participate, but Clarence did. Oh boy. The continuing story looked gloomy. I went to Clarence. Tony the manager told me that Lockport is under the same ownership as his location, but he'd take care of me. Another odd twist, but whatever. The experience at the Clarence shop was phenomenal. Night and day from the previous hassles with Valvoline so far. Jordan, the bay tech, was courteous, clear, concise, reviewed recommended services without ever being pushy, did the lights safety checks, offered me to donate to Ronald McDonald house...quick and efficient, while being genuinely politely engaging. Communication among the team while services were being checked off was superb. It was immediately clear that Tony runs a tight shop, with professionalism as the foundation. I didn't get any additional recommend does services at the time, but I will definitely consider Tony's shop when I am ready to get them done. Stellar team.

I should have known since I drive a foreign luxury car. I had a coupon for a free conventional oil change which is what brought me to Pep Boys. Kyle knew that I would need full synthetic, not conventional, so he said that I he would just have me pay the difference so I could still use the coupon. He wanted to confirm that he had the proper oil for my car, so he asked me, but I didn't know as this was the first oil change I had needed. He told me it would be on the oil cap and I was embarrassed to admit I had yet to figure out how to pop the hood. He came out to show me and we discovered that the cap said to look at the manual... Two manuals later, we still did not have our answer, it just said to call Mercedes. He then called Mercedes to find out what oil I needed. Turns out that I needed full synthetic Mercedes brand oil. He then told me that if I bought the oil, he would still do the oil change for me which would be a significant savings from what the Mercedes dealership would charge me. I left with a happy car with fresh oil and highly satisfied with the great quality of customer service!

I called and was told the mechanic drove it and does not detect the problem I'm describing but they still have not put it on the lift and looked at it. They have now had my vehicle for 2 days!! I picked my vehicle up and it was repaired at another shop. The mechanic states he drove my car however my vehicle was in the exact parking spot I left it in 2 days prior. The drivers seat was all the way forward since I am under 5 foot tall. There was no paper on the floor near the foot petals. So I highly doubt they drove my vehicle. My vehicle sat in their parking lot for 2 days and they never even looked at it. If they lie about driving my vehicle how can I trust them to do any service. On the way home the vibration in the steering wheel is still present which is why I brought it to them for service. I will never return. Please don't go here!!

They said the patch had been done from the outside and should have been done from the inside. They showed me the tire was shredded inside and said I was lucky it didn't blow. Then they sold me another tire. I'm so pissed off. I hate having 3 of one tire and 1 of another, not to mention all my time wasted being stuck on the side of the road!

When I discovered they had a location in Cheektowaga, I was estatic! It's closer, and they guarantee tires as well as fix flats. Well, the experience I had ordering tires from Walmart recently had me again needing to order another lug nut lock key because they have either lost it or damaged it in the past. So I have the tires delivered to Walmart and have an appointment just before Christmas. Once again, they call and tell me the lock remover is broken, and I need to take it to the dealer to get it removed. I noticed a few weeks ago that there is a Tread City in Lockport. I decided to give them a call to see if they can somehow get the lock that is stuck on. I speak to Adam, and he is as nice as can be. He tells me to come in before a certain time to assure me enough time for him to get it done. He comes and explained he can take them off, but he may have to replace the locks with regular lugs to avoid the problem. They take care of everything in a matter of minutes, and all is well. This tire shop is sharing a building with show plows and other sales items. But it's nice and clean.

The team I was working with were super helpful and explained anything I asked about. They helped me get a good discount and helped me avoid paying a full industry-standard price. Though, you do pay a lot for the speed. An oil change here can be quite steep. But, I believe that if you are in need of a quick oil change without the risk or worry of being ripped off, than this is your place. Strong recommend.
