Worst service ever! Staff was rude and acted like not wanting to sell anything. Did not welcome any customers coming in.

The food was mediocre. It tasted as if it came from a frozen package. In the shumai, one of my family members found a piece of plastic. The dumplings were also quite expensive. I have tasted much better dumplings for a cheaper price. The service was all right, nothing special. However, the open condiments like chili oil did not seem sanitary to consume. Overall, I would not recommend eating here. You might as well purchase frozen dumplings at a grocery store for a much better price. There are better food options around the food court as well.

Wasn't too bad, actually better than we expected. They had dumplings and bao buns with different meats and shumai. We need just a bit of a snack before we hit the road, so we decided on dumplings, and mostly because we saw they had a big jar of chili oil, which definitely helped in our decision and did make the dumplings taste even better. They also offered soy sauce, dumpling sauce, and Sriracha.

The space is clean, bright, and welcoming, with some cool semi-private booths along the side that give it a nice touch. The menu is simple but hits all the popular dim sum-style dishes, with their specialty being Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). We went all in and tried a little bit of everything: shumai, shrimp dumplings, sticky rice in lotus leaf, BBQ pork buns, cucumber salad, pork XLB, black truffle & pork XLB, and beef fried udon noodles. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well executed........we cleared every plate. What really stood out was the service. Honestly, I don't always expect standout service at Asian spots (and I say that as someone who is Asian), but this place went above and beyond. There were multiple servers helping throughout, bringing food, refilling drinks, checking in, and everyone was genuinely friendly and attentive. As someone who waited tables for years, that level of service really stood out. They even brought us complimentary egg tarts since they were closing soon, which was a nice touch. You can also watch the dumpling makers through a glass window, which adds to the experience and gives off slight Din Tai Fung vibes, but without the long drive. It's family-friendly, great for sharing, and just a fun, satisfying meal overall. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

We got the stir-fried beef noodles, egg rolls, pot stickers, and the fried buns with condensed milk, and every dish was on point. The stir-fried beef noodles were the star -- super tender beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and great wok flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and filled just right, and the pot stickers were juicy with that perfect sear on the bottom. The fried buns were surprisingly good too -- warm, fluffy, and even better dipped in the condensed milk. The restaurant is clean, service was quick, and the food looks as good as it tastes (photo attached!). Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Beef potstickers: Appealing looking but awkward to eat and seemed prepared from frozen. The meat was a little roll floating in the middle of the thick wonton wrapper. Pan fried on one side, a bit rubbery. Shredded Cucumber salad with garlic flavor was good with decent fresh cucumber. Scallion pancakes. Greasy. Unable to detect any scallion or onion flavor so I opened it. Tiny specs of what had to be those dried chives or green onion flakes. Scant amount. This is a simple, cheap fix for a usually delightful side order: Just chop up some fresh green onions and throw them in there. Easier on the oil & these would've been pretty good. Wouldn't order this unless they revamp this simple app. Distracting banging around of pots and pants in background. I guess it was pot washing time. Several customers ordered the dim sum and maybe that's the way to go. It's a no go for me.

Big Sky was my **go-to Chinese food spot in Riverside** for years. **Then tonight happened.** I placed a DoorDash pickup order at their new location -- sweet and sour pork, beef chow fun, beef porridge, pork and shrimp siu mai, and white rice. They even threw in extra rice, and I was genuinely excited to dig in. That excitement ended the moment I looked down at my bowl and found a **MAGGOT sitting on top of my rice.** I called the restaurant immediately and calmly explained what happened. They told me to contact DoorDash since that's how I ordered. Fine. I reported it through DoorDash's platform and waited. Then I got a call back from DoorDash -- not to help me, but to relay a message: **Big Sky had contacted them specifically to refuse my refund.** Let that sink in. A customer found a maggot in their food, couldn't eat a single bite of a $54.19 order, and the restaurant's response was to **actively call DoorDash to make sure I didn't get my money back.** I understand that occasionally bugs happen in food service. It's gross, but I was fully prepared to move on had they simply taken responsibility. Instead, they chose to fight a $54 refund over a maggot. That tells you everything you need to know about how this restaurant values its customers. **Eat here at your own risk -- and if something's wrong, you're on your own.**

I've been several times, the first time about 3 weeks after it opened. Didn't write a review then, or did I? Anyway... It is about the size of a Starbucks lobby, complete with standard decorative restaurant applications. There's a couple of tables and a half dozen booths to sit in. Soda selection is limited, and they do have a few adult beverages there as well. I don't drink, so I usually don't check out the drink menu. Not to make the staff seem too stereotypical, but as soon as I heard the yelling in the kitchen, with the language of the natives, I knew from the first visit, this was gonna be at the very least, a tasty meal. This visit was not a disappointing one. I ordered the potstickers, and an order of combo lo mein. Very good and very filling. And all the flavors were very authentic. I will say the service is hot and miss, but only because the language barrier is somewhat thick. But, I really don't need to ask for anything else past the meal being set, because that's ultimately what matters, in my opinion. As long as we communicate, the plates and cups aren't thrown at me, I'm a happy camper. I feel like this place is a little more popular for take out, but I think it is also worthy of a sit in meal.
