Seven months in and it's everything I was expecting. I tried HOTWORX during the Elite Experience in July and really liked the combination of infrared saunas and variety of work outs available. I actually find myself getting up early on my days off to go to Hotworx for the yoga. During the week I enjoy going right after work. The times are convenient since it all runs on continuous loops 24/7. The infrared saunas warm you deep inside, allowing the muscles to have less strain and more motion. You begin sweating in the first five minutes. Bye bye toxins. There's enough variety to keep you interested and motivated. Besides the 10 saunas there is a small gym area equipped with various weights. Most of the time whether it's just the times I pick, I'm usually the only one in the saunas. The facility is available 24/7. Staffed hours are posted. There are several security items in place for unstaffed times - hall lights dim if no one moves in the hall for 20 minutes, only members can enter with special app on their phone, and there are two panic buttons available to take with you in a sauna. The app allows me to check availability of saunas and times to book two days out. It also records sessions and calories burned. Give it a try. read more

If you're looking for a workout that will drench you out & have you feeling so good, this is the place! I had heard mixed reviews but after popping in myself, and learning how the membership works I was sold. It's 24/7, which is convenient, the classes each take place in an infrared sauna and the classes are diverse! From yoga, Pilates, stretching & cycling + more. The facility itself is kept clean, which I love -- especially considering the amount of sweat you feel after each workout. Very cool hot spot. I love that you get a workout in and a deep detox at the same time in the infrared sauna. The rooms were nice, clean, and intimate. Not big rooms filled with lots of people. The virtual instructions were easy to follow along and entertaining as well. I did the pilates class and it was a great workout, they have three different levels you can follow, easy, moderate, or challenging. Krystal and Makayla are very nice, helpful, and thoroughly explained the whole process. Well worth the cost. All ya do is show up. I will be doing the stretch class next. Thank you. read more

Working out in a hot sauna sounded like some sort of strange torture to me when I first heard about this concept from a friend in the Fresno area, but after a month here, I can confidently say that I dig it, along with about a million other things about the whole Hotworx experience! Trigger warning: You will sweat without a doubt, and this is more sweat than you ever thought possible. But if you know anything about the benefits of sauna, you know you're unleashing toxins and all sorts of other bad juju in that sweat, and this is something you can actually feel that after a few sessions. Oh and the sweaty clothes are like a badge of honor showing a job well done! One of the best features of Hotworx is the app. It allows you to sign up for sessions and see who else is booked (only three people per session), tracks calories burned in each (improved record if you wear a monitor of some sort), has a local leaderboard to show where you and other members are at in the quarterly challenges, virtual personal training, calorie counter, and more! It's incredibly reinforcing to use and makes you push a bit harder knowing you can visualize your results instantly! I also love that this place is open 24/7, you let yourself in and out, and the classes run on repeat! The HIIT classes are 15 minutes in duration, all the equipment is in place, and you just add yourself. I've gotten into a rhythm of doing 3 of these sessions back to back, warming up with Hot Blast, then moving on to Hot Thunder and finishing on the spin bike in Hot Cycle. I'm absolutely drenched after the third, so I take a 15 minute break to rest and rehydrate (the fountain has an incredible filter and delicious water btw) before hitting one last Hot Thunder rowing session before I call it a day. Every other day or so I use the virtual personal trainer in the app plus workouts I've found online using the functional resistance equipment available, including cable machines and kettlebells, to do some strength training and balance out the HIIT work. They also offer yoga, pilates, and other core strengthening classes, which I have not attempted yet, though I'm feeling inspired to do so in the near future. I joined here with the intention of getting myself back into a fitness routine, and that has been very successful. I honestly was expecting to get a bit tired of the routine, but instead I find that it has pushed me to explore more of what Hotworx offers so I can get as much value out of my membership as possible. I have been a member of Hotworx for exactly one year, and I truly grew to love it. The workouts have made such a positive impact on my health and overall well-being. I've significantly improved my flexibility, which has greatly reduced my everyday aches and pains, including a persistent back problem I struggled with for a long time. I've also noticed a big improvement in my VO2 max by consistently using their hot cycle sessions -- they're challenging but incredibly effective. Another thing I love is how much stronger I've become. When I first started the Buns class, I had to do it without the bands because I was so weak in that "department," but over time I steadily built strength and progressed to using more and more resistant bands. It's been so rewarding to see that growth. On top of the amazing results, I really appreciate how clean the facility always is. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and supportive, and the 24-hour availability works perfectly with my schedule. After attending a Yelp event I tried a week of free classes to get a feel of the variety of workouts offered at the studio. I decided to join with a sweat basic membership. In about a month I have taken 13 sessions. It took a bit of time to adjust to the small sauna rooms and being close to other members while working out. The 24 hour access is a plus for me. Being able to book on the app is a great way to plan your day. I have yet be able to sync my watch and the app to track my workouts which is inconvenient. I chose Hotworx to add variety to my workout routines so when I discovered that the virtual videos played during the sessions change every 90 days, I was a bit disappointed. There are only 2 or 3 different videos that are played for each workout, so after a week or so, I end up doing the same videos. For me, this is a bit boring and makes the workouts mundane. I have already memorized the routines. My mind and body aren't as challenged as I had hope when I signed up. read more

To say I'm obsessed with how I feel when I step out of a class is an understatement. I'm no stranger to heated (sauna) workout classes, but these are incomparable. I love that it's a smaller studio, personable, and less crowded and locally owned. I'm usually on a time crunch or can't sleep, and on nights like that I'll do some of my best work at the gym. These are infrared sauna classes! I paid extra to have red-light therapy saunas at my other clubs. I love how they have everything you need from a tradition gym, but the upgraded version. Super clean studio and I appreciate the ability to kick up the temp to 130 to kill bacteria. I was lucky enough to be able to try a class through Yelp Elite, thank you Yelp team for the opportunity! I did hot buns and iso burn earlier followed by some traditional weight training and its just what I needed. I canceled a few other club memberships because Hotworx is 24 hours! Oh and I felt it in my whole body about midday. I can't wait to see my calories burned rack up! I wish the app was more user friendly. Stacy was a doll setting me up, but I accidentally canceled one of my classes instead of recording it after I was done. Besides that, I'm learning how to use everything. With 9 Isometric Workouts in 30 minutes intervals available and 3 High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Workouts 15 minute session you are sure to break a sweat. Each sauna is customizable for temp and time... and you can adjust the volume of the instructors on the monitors. Members can access these sessions 24/7, providing flexibility to fit workouts into various schedules. Additionally, the studio features a Functional Exercise Zone (FX Zone) equipped with commercial gym equipment, including kettlebells, battle ropes, suspension straps, dumbbells, and stability balls. I had a good time doing this class! I did the Hot Iso. It was challenging, yet still doable. I felt really good after. I live across town, so I don't think I'll be signing up for a membership because it's a little inconvenient for me. Also, I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that you have to use their mats and bands, instead of bringing your own. That would be an inconvenience to have to buy theirs. What a great place to workout! I love the location and how convenient everything is in this layout. I didn't realize that this facility also has a free weight section that also has TRX and other gym type amenities. The faculty was very clean and the staff is so welcoming. I tried the stretching and it was so great! Everything is so convenient and I'm impressed that they are open 24 hours, so it caters to a lot more than the average gym. The room temp is adjustable as well as the volume so that was nice. This place is a great place to workout and try different sessions! read more

What a great new gym in town. I have been going since the first day they opened and I'm already addicted. There are so many workout options available. The owners are AWESOME! They are very knowledgeable and help you understand the amazing benefits of hotworx. They really know what they are talking about which is nice. This gym has all new equipment and is beautiful inside. You are able to sweat it out and feel the burn in a virtually instructed infrared sauna. It combines heat, infrared energy, and exercise which helps burn the calories while you are getting a good workout in. You have an app to download to be able to book your sessions, which is very handy. It's recommended you show up 10 to 15 minutes early so you can heat your sauna up. If you want to do the yoga, or Pilates or any of the isometric workouts, you must buy one of their mats and towels for the room but they are great quality and I'm sure are meant to last a while. You must clean up after yourself and wipe the machines down and turn off the sauna when you are done using it. There are isometric workouts that are 30 minutes up to 3 members per session. (Must take your shoes off for this) Hot iso: isometric compression postures Hot yoga: athletic style yoga Hot Pilates: traditional Pilates Hot warrior: advanced series of isometric postures Hot core: abs, hips, and lower back Hot buns: focuses on the glutes Hot bands: intense total body resistance band workout Hot barre none: unique ballet workout without the barre Then there are also HIIT workouts which are 15 minutes up to 2-3 members per session. (Can keep your shoes on for this) Hot cycle which is a cycle session with choreographed intensity intervals, hot thunder which is a dual pulley water rower, and hot blast which is strength, endurance, and cardio HIIT for the total body. What's great is they are open 24/7. You get your own personal entry to the door.
