The food was OK but nothing that made me want to come back and try something else. I might return.

The place was clean (and warm because it was cold this day). There was TVs showing the news and piped through the ceiling speakers. By the order counter was an area behind glass where you can see them making their award-winning biscuits periodically. The staff were very patient with us as we couldn't decide on what we wanted. Everything sounded really good, but I was really hungry so a biscuit sandwich wasn't going to do. I got the Breakfast Platter (biscuit, two eggs *no extra charge for the shortage*, bacon, and grits with a large coffee). The biscuit was exceptional, almost as good as our Maple Street Biscuit Company biscuits. I didn't eat all my eggs as they had gotten cold quickly. The bacon and grits were really good. I also picked up some doggie biscuits for my dog. She absolutely loved them. I don't think she's ever had biscuits before so she wasn't sure about the texture initially but after awhile she scarfed it down. Wish we had these in Florida.

The strawberry lemonade was also spot-on, refreshing and full of flavor. I ordered a breakfast platter, though, and it was just okay. It didn't taste very fresh and the flavors were a little underwhelming. Customer service was alright, nothing bad, just nothing that stood out. I would go back again, but I'd probably try something different next time. It wasn't terrible by any means, just not as impressive as I hoped. With the drinks being delicious, I'm willing to give it another shot -- maybe I just didn't pick the right item this time.
