    bologna, egg, cheese...

in the area for background and training missed breakfast at home... short detour on the way in put me here in the drive through getting a bologna, egg, and cheese sandwich and a plain biscuit. pretty sure this wasn't the least healthful meal I ate this week but it didn't miss by much... a fried egg, a thick slab o' highly processed meat, some matching cheese on a made here biscuit... also sure that the BV's business model is more about satisfying my urges than my recommended daily allowance of vitamins and nutrients which is generally a much safer bet. so good on them! and good for me that I only come across these when I'm away from home LOL

OMG! We were about to go to Wendy's for breakfast until I seen this place. Bologna biscuit and cheese grits were so GOOD! What made me fall in love with this place even more, I went inside and seen the window of them making your biscuits HOMEMADE near the register! You guys need to come to Atlanta and put Chic-fil-A out of business (so overrated)! We will definitely be stopping back through, on the next road trip.

I drove past here while driving around town and decided to stop by. I am extremely glad I did since it was delicious. It was just a snack so we shared a hot chicken biscuit with country fries. The chicken was sooo moist I was actually thoroughly impressed as you don't come across perfectly cooked chicken at a drive thru often. The biscuit was flaky and soft and delicious! I definitely want to go back and try some of their other sandwiches and next time I'm in town I will! Overall, I more than highly recommend

Biscuitville came up on a Google search, and I decided to stop by while on a road trip. The staff wasn't the friendliest, yet the service was quick. The biscuits were tasty, and I also enjoyed their seasonal watermelon soda. My only complaint was that I had to ask for my order receipt multiple times, which should have been provided upon payment.

The biscuits are by far the best I have had, the Cuban biscuit is a must try. The drive thru was super quick and friendly

This is our second visit here, and our first time with the dinner menu. There were lots of great choices! We tried the hush puppies appetizer and the deviled eggs to start. Great presentation and delicious. For entrees we went with the chicken and gravy, fish tacos and the love bug smash burger. Huge portions and really really good. We were very full afterward. We wanted to have a little more leisurely time there, maybe try a dessert, but we had to be at an event, so there was a time constraint. Overall, this is a great spot in downtown Belmont. Also, this is Jonas family owned restaurant so check out all the music memorabilia by the restrooms.

We started with the pimento cheese fries, which were easily the highlight of the meal. They were flavorful, well-prepared, and set a great first impression. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The service was noticeably slow, and our food took quite a while to arrive. I ordered the fried chicken, and it was significantly overcooked. The chicken was dry, and the breading was so dark it was just shy of being burnt. The mashed potatoes on the side were good, but they couldn't make up for the quality of the main dish. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak with roasted carrots. The steak itself was quite good, but the carrots never arrived with the meal. They were brought out long after we had finished eating, which made them feel like an afterthought. For dessert, my wife chose the peach cobbler. It appeared to be served with ice cream, but by the time it reached the table, the ice cream had completely melted. The dessert looked more like peach cobbler floating in a bowl of melted ice cream than a properly plated dessert. Whether it sat too long before being served or was prepared incorrectly, it was not particularly appealing. The one bright spot throughout the evening was our server. He was attentive, checked on us regularly, and kept our drinks refilled. Unfortunately, good service alone wasn't enough to overcome the slow pace and disappointing food quality. Based on this visit, the overall dining experience was subpar. Aside from the pimento cheese fries and a few individual items, the meal did not live up to expectations.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very disappointing. I ordered burger steak with slaw, mashed potatoes, and gravy, while my sons ordered hamburgers. The meat in both meals felt extremely crumbly, almost as if it contained a large amount of breadcrumbs and very little actual meat. The flavor was far from what you would expect from quality beef and honestly tasted like everything except real meat. The mashed potatoes and gravy were average at best, and even the coffee tasted extremely weak, almost like flavored water. The only item I genuinely liked was the coleslaw. The wait staff were polite and genuinely tried to make the experience pleasant, which I appreciate. However, people primarily visit restaurants for the food, and sadly that was the weakest part of the experience at Small Town Kitchen in Cherryville. On a scale from 0-10, where 10 is excellent, I would honestly give the experience a 1, mainly because the coleslaw was decent. I hope the restaurant improves the quality of its meat and overall food preparation because the location itself has potential.

Never ever considered stopping for food here because getting through the city on 74 is tough enough as time seems to stand still here because no one, and I mean no one is moving quickly here. As the current situation is Shelby is now the half way point from my our home to where my daughter and grandson moved 1 1/2 hours away. Tuesday night we made the trek to pick up the grand for a sleep over, meeting half way at The Creekside Clock for dinner. In the entry way there is a sign stating that food is made to order so please be patient. OK. We got plenty of patience. Walk up to the counter and place your order, HUH??? Can I take a look at a menu? Sure, put on your glasses and read from the menu board. Sorry! I wasn't prepared for that. Menu looks great. There is a lot of variety and daily specials. We placed 3 separate orders, probably the first mistake as we were all sitting together, just not paying together. I am not a fan of paying before you get your food. Tip? What am I tipping? We sit with our little numbers on sticks at our table and a waitress comes to review our tickets and bring our drinks. So far so good. Ok now we wait. I can see the kitchen window and there are 6 heads in view and they appear to be super busy prepping and getting out the food. Apparently that wasn't the case. First order arrives, baked potato and chicken sandwich looks yum! A side salad was also delivered. A good bit later my meatloaf and fiancé's combination seafood plate and the grands shrimp. All looks good, alas, there is nothing on my plate that is even warm. I Asked if they had a microwave they could reheat my plate, it was that cold. Found out also that the chick sandwich and potato that was delivered first was not warm either. Still waiting on a steak and steak tips at this point everyone else was pretty much done with their food. The steak was good, again the potato cold. I am really shocked by all of the good Google reviews for this place. Although the menu looks nice. For them to boast that food is made to order, and not even serve the food warm along with the horrible execution, this was a one and done for us!
